Bills Acquire DJ Moore from Bears

0:00For the NFL, it's March 5th, and here's what's going on. The Buffalo Bills have landed wide receiver DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears in a swap of draft picks. The Bills are sending over their 2026 second-round selection, while getting back Moore, along with a Bears' fifth-rounder from the same year. Teams also worked out salary details to make the deal happen. Buffalo is guaranteeing $15.5 million of Moore's 2028 base pay. His 2026 salary was already fully covered in his 2027 paylocks in fully next week. Moore is a 28-year-old veteran, who the Carolina Panthers took in the first round back in 2018. Over eight NFL seasons, he has put up an average of 79 catches, 1,066 yards, and five touchdowns each year. Last season with the Bears, though, his targets dropped off. He still started all 17 games, and hauled in 50 passes for 682 yards and six scores.
