Best Potential Buffalo Bills HBO "Hard Knocks" Storylines

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Buffalo Bandits color commentary and sports media personality Steve Burmel for a conversation on several Buffalo sports topics, including reaction to HBO having the Buffalo Bills on Hard Knocks this summer and some potential fun storylines.

In what was certainly unexpected news, HBO dropped a bit of a bombshell on Bills Mafia Wednesday with the announcement that the Bills would be the featured team on the popular and longstanding Hard Knocks series that begins this August. It's the first time in the history of the show the Bills have been the featured team, going all the way back to its inception with the Baltimore Ravens back in 2001. The guys have plenty of reaction to the news and discuss what they like and don't like, if anything about it.

Of course, for good television their needs to be interesting storylines and arcs, and the guys spend some times going over the possibilities. Among them of course is Josh Allen, coming off his first MVP season and will be newly married to actress Hailee Steinfeld. Other potential things to keep your eyes on would be the charismatic Tre White coming back to Buffalo and trying to earn a job with the team, Buffalo born and raised Joe Andreessen attempting to stick his hometown team for a second straight year, Ray Davis overcoming several life obstacles to carve a role with the team in the NFL, Keon Coleman serving up some funny/goofy one liners and if Matt Milano will actually speak at any point of the season.

Also, Steve covers the Bandits and gives listeners insight to the winner-take-all championship game in Buffalo coming up this Saturday afternoon. That plus some Sabres talk and plenty more!
