Bengals Eye Greenard Trade for Defensive Boost

The Cincinnati Bengals want to improve all three levels of their defense this offseason and a trade for Minnesota Vikings Pro Bowl edge rusher. Jonathan Greener could help a lot on that front. Earlier this week, NFL Insider Adam Schaefter reported the Vikings are open to dealing greener because of their salary cap struggles, even though they prefer to keep him. For the Bengals, Greener looks like a solid fit, especially since edge rusher Trey Hendrickson might leave in free agency, leaving a big gap to fill. The 28-year-old Greener put up 12 sacks last season, along with 18 tackles for loss and four force fumbles and his advanced. Grade stage strong despite a slight dip in raw numbers. Viking sources say they want a day-to-draft pick and return, but the Bengals could offer their fourth rounder instead, possibly with a pick swap. Speaking this an affordable upgrade if it works out.
