It's incremental, small signs you ignore until it's too late. The corner slip off, the fabric starts to get thinner and rougher. And suddenly you find yourself sweating through the night wondering why you can't stay comfortable. Here's the bottom line. You don't realize how bad your sheets have gotten until you actually replace them, which is why it's time to upgrade to our sponsor, bowl and branch. If your sheets are pilling, thinning, willing to stay put or make you overheat, that is not normal aging of the sheets. That's a problem and you can fix it with bowl and branch. I love bowl and branch product. I sleep with bowl and branch product every single night. I take it on the road with me. So does my wife. We've given it as presents to friends. It's that good. Well folks, it's rare that I see movies that I'm really interested in these days. But there are a bunch of previews for movies coming out this year that actually look awesome. We're going to go through some of them today. Producer Phil will be joining me. He's sort of the voice of the divine in this particular video. First off, Spider-Man trailer. Now I've got to say, I'm not the biggest Spider-Man guy. Shut up. Get out. So we'll evaluate this trailer. I haven't seen this one yet. Here we go. I can't believe our first hit of my team. MJ, come on, pretend like you're not the happiest. You've ever been in your entire life. I can't. I knew it.
Hi, my name is Peter Parker. Okay, so we're starting off some weird angles. You don't remember me, but we used to know each other. Something bad was going to happen in the only way to stop. In the end of the last movie, was to make everyone forget her memories. You. Because I'm not just Peter Parker. I'm Spider-Man. The hell, Frank? You just hit me with a van. Put your word, Frank. Shoot yourself. Up. Oh, John Burns off. There he is. Mother. Go home. And sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing, even if it breaks Peter Parker's heart. What is happening to me?
Excuse me, Dr. Banner. I need your help. Would you say your name was? Ah, okay. There we go. My propeller is off. There'd be an enormously dangerous. Spiders have three life cycles. When between cycles, it can't leave the spider vulnerable to threats. We are faced with a danger that we can't control. One we can't even see. Stay out of my way. If you're losing a kid. Okay, we got a new doc, okay? Those spiders will make it through. Okay, it's not Doc. I can't stop being hurt. I'm wrong. Reaper. Nice flowers. Oh, they're a housewarming gift. I'm MJ. I'm just a neighbor from Cross the Hall.
It's a friendly neighbor. Okay. Um, meh. I know. Perth or Phil was very, very pumped about this. Listen, I'll be honest. The best Spider-Man remains. Topic McGuire. I'm just going to say it. I'm going to put it out there. That like, I understand the Tom Holland Spider-Man is true or to the comics because he's younger. I get it. And you know, it's supposed to be more kid-friendly. Yeah, and I know. He's a equippy and all the rest of it. I just, my biggest problem with this particular iteration of Spider-Man. I like the last Spider-Man a lot, by the way. And I like into the Spider-Bers a lot. Watching the trailer. Gotta say, like, it feels like the stakes are non-existent. Like unbelievably low stakes is what it feels like. I'm not sure how you frankly top the Spider-Man reunion in the last movie. So I have a hard time believing that they're going to be able to do that here. He might be morphing into a human spider. The third act of this movie, that's the big rumor.
Now, that's weird. And that means that he and MJ are going to have a very, very strange, you know, life going forward. Out of five, how would you describe your excitement? I think I have three out of five. Okay. You know, like, I'm not saying it's the worst thing ever. It's not like I just watched a preview for Shape of Water or something. But it's also not a five out of five. Okay, it's time for Toy Story 5. So everybody thought that the series was basically over after Toy Story 3. And then they added on Toy Story 4, which I found enjoyable, but unnecessary. And now Toy Story 5. So let's find out what's going on with our boy Woody. Bonnie, there's a package for you.
Okay, it's going to be anti-electronics for kids. I'm into it. Okay. I want to talk to you, device. Please, call me Lily. Me and the toys have been working all summer trying to get Bonnie to make friends. Yeah. But then you had to ruin it. You're not even listening to me. I'm always listening. See? No, in Spanish. Yeah, good. Dives on behind the dresser. Is it as bad out there for toys as they say it is? We're finding more abandoned toys each day. Tex invaded our house too. I don't know, Jesse. Toys are for play, but tech is for everything. Oh, I'm losing Bonnie to this device. You got a funny Woody. Yeah, came here as fast as I could. Why are you wearing a dress, Woody? It's called a poncho for kids. Someone needs a brown marker. Paul, who goes there? Whoa, whoa, whoa.
I come in peace. Okay, listen, I grew up with these movies. We all grew up with these movies as a teenager when the first one came out. What? She thinks you're old because you're bald, Woody. Bonnie needs help from someone at least from the same century. So long, toys. We're going to need backup. Okay, again, I like to be, uh, the electronics are bad. I like that. Bonnie still needs us. Buzz, you stay here. I'm going with them. You don't think I can do it? No, no. I like the concept. It's good. It's good to see them fighting again. It's your ears. And again, like bringing back all the, all the oldies, that's great. I just hope that this film ends with a chest aisement of the parents for being terrible,
for giving small children electronic devices for long periods of time. Is it necessary? No, but is it something that I will almost certainly watch? Yes. So four out of five on this one in terms of expectation. Nice. It's directed by Andrew Stan, who did finding Nemo and Wally. Okay, so at least I'm bringing back the best of the best here over. Yeah, that's good. Next up, let's do the Michael Jackson trailer. Uh-oh. Here we go. You're confident. You're strong. You're beautiful. There's a greatest of all time. Let me tell you something. In this life, you're either a winner or your loser. You all want to work in a steel mill like me for the rest of your days. Yeah, because I sure as hell down. You all will in the fight for it. Yes, sir. I need to hear you a little louder. You all will in the fight for it.
Yes, sir. Ready whenever you are, Michael. I don't know exactly. You want to be the biggest star in the world? That's my old seller. Okay. I'm going to cap your lives. Oh, Michael's success. Because a Jackson family is the brand. That's a Coca-Cola. And we need to start selling. So I'm planning an international tour. This is just the beginning. I need to think. I told you what to think. I love my family, but I just want to do my own thing. Uh-oh. Just have all these ideas in my head. Just got to get them out. Okay, Michael. Not a little boy anymore. Michael, I know you were different the moment you were born.
You have a very special life. I wonder where this is going to go. I believe in music. Can change the world. Okay, so it is behemian rhapsody, right? I mean, it's the same movie basically. nostalgia for gen-exers. Magic. I mean, I assume that movie cost one bajillion dollars. Because you have to license all of Michael Jackson's music. The rumor is that this is part one of two. Ooh, part one of two. I assume part two of two is the part where all the terrible things happen. I don't know if it's confirmed, but they're being very coy about it. I mean, if this is part one of two, so it's like this is the rise. And then the fall is, you know, all the other stuff. So, listen, I'm not a huge Michael Jackson fan. Not just because of the personal stuff, but because I'm just not
an enormous fan. I think that they're like three of his songs from his post-Jackson 5 period that I really were like, yeah, this movie will make all sorts of money. A lot of people have tons of nostalgia for Michael Jackson and his music. And so the performance looks good. I mean, the guy looks like Michael Jackson. That's his nephew, Jafar Jackson Jr. First acting role, yeah. Okay, it's his nephew. Okay, wow. I wonder if he can act. I mean, we'll find out. Antoine Fuqua is directing you. I like Antoine Fuqua, generally. I mean, he's very hit or mess. I'm not sure that the world needs another music biopic about a personality that we already knew really well. And I feel like they're kind of formulaic at this point. If you had to pick this or Spider-Man. If I had to pick this or Spider-Man to like, go out on a weekend, I'm gonna go to Spider-Man. Nice. I mean, maybe make a two out of five for that. Also, like, you have to feel a little bit weird about, you know, like, going in the treatment of Michael Jackson as an unsullied hero. I get to feel a little weird. Like, some stuff happened. I just don't know a lot of adult grown males who are inviting small children to sleep over at their house. Like, that's weird. You've seen the headlines, you know, the story, debt is exploding, and guess what? It is, of course, hitting your wallet. The balance is climbed, the fees stack up. That's not an accident.
That's the system working the way it's supposed to work. Minimum payments are built to keep you in debt. And this is where our sponsor, PDSDeck, comes in. Helping people break free and take back control of their money. Credit cards, personal loans, medical bills. It adds up. That's the reality most people face. But PDSDeck will help you flip the script. They don't just crunch numbers. They actually look at your situation. They figure out what's really going on. They build a plan to help you get out of debt faster. No minimum credit score, no nonsense. Just smart strategies to cut what you owe and start keeping your money where you belong in your pocket. PDSDeck is a plus rated by the Better Business Bureau with thousands of five star reviews on Google and Trust Pilot Y because they deliver real results. Real people, real savings, real freedom from debt. Here's the thing. Every month you wait, it's going to cost you money, interest stacks, he's pile up. Okay, what else we got? Disclosure day, Spielberg's new movie going back to the basics. Yeah, there's a Spielberg movie about aliens, which is sort of his bread and butter. What did you steal? Secrets. The data they paid me to protect. Is it Josh O'Neil? Who's in every single movie now? Josh O'Connor. Josh O'Connor. Yeah, Josh O'Connor. He's the Zenzai of mail actors now. He's in every single movie. Good morning, Kansas City. Let's take a look at today. Okay, Emily Blunt. I'm a big Emily Blunt stand. Let's take a look at today. I think Emily Blunt is the best working actress. Today's Oh, that's not ideal.
They made you a part of it, too. Okay, so it's WikiLeaks meets aliens. Yes, please. Have a seat. Okay, we've got some Colin Firth going on here. Okay, and now it's Chris Messingworth. Don't know, I have some legs. It's Narnia, yeah. That was a nut. Okay, I'm interested. Full disclosure to the whole world. That truth will up end all established order across the entire world. If you do this, there's no one doing it. Okay, so we got to, it's like a crossing ET and closing counters kind of.
Yep. All right, listen, this is Spielberg is one of the three greatest directors of all time. So, you know, I do think that it would be really, really funny. I will admit, if when Emily Blond started doing that, she just turned into Steve Carell from Bruce Almighty. I think it'll be really funny if she's like, instead of her doing, like instead of that, she's like, Joshua Goddard's like, I understand. Like, that would be funny. But, okay, I have a question. What has David Koep ever written? The best Indiana Jones, Indiana Jones in the kingdom of the Crystal Skull. He worked on the Jurassic Park script. Like the original? Yeah. Okay. He worked on Jurassic World, also not as good. Mission impossible. The first one. The first Tom Cruise mission possible. The really bad mummy remake with Tom Cruise.
It's really hit or miss. It's super duper hit or miss. You can slather a 100 million dollar budget all over a bad script and it will still not be that good. You can take a tiny budget and put it on a great script and it will kick ass. We'll see how it is, isn't it? I think Spielberg is unbelievably talented. The man's over is extraordinary. But, that's it. I could be really, really disappointed. Of all the movies that we have seen thus far, this one I'm like four and a half out of five. Like, I would see this one before I see Toy Story five. It's a weekend. I get to pick one of the two because the curiosity factor is super high. All right. This is the film that's coming out the same day as Avengers Doomsday. Dooms part one and two came out. I love both of them. I think Danny Villanoav is unbelievably good at what he does. The world building is extraordinary. And now we are getting Dune Part Three, which I believe is from Dune Messiah. I think you'll see in the trailer it goes past Dune Messiah and the children at Dune. So, here we go.
If we have a girl, who will we name her? How'd you get here from Spider-Man? Her name should be Kanima. Mm-hmm. She would need to be strong. Like her mother. What if it's a boy? I would name him little. So, you would have the wisdom of his grandfather. Some of these shaliments, by the way, offset was like playing ping-pong this whole time. True story. I'm already spring. Man, Dune Lanoav makes images, man. He really does.
Okay, he got Florence Pew. For our pants, in appearance, okay. I'm doing the best I can to protect my family. How did father do it? You're father never started. And of course, Rebecca Ferguson, who is wonderful in everything. I know where the story ends, because I've read the books, but... I'm not afraid to die. But I must not die. Yeah.
Yeah, man. That's my jam. There it is. Okay. Yeah, I thought that was Jason Memo in there. Didn't get killed in movie one. You don't remember from Messiah? It's... Yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's right. It's been a long time since I've read these books. I remember where it ends, but I do not remember some of the moves in between. Well, it's very different because Johnny and Paul are together for all of Messiah, and obviously, they're not in this movie, so I don't know how it's going to happen there. That is also true. Yeah, I'm... That's a five out of five. I will be seeing that opening again. The Lenovov is so good. He's really, really, really good. Obviously, no one's Odyssey is coming out this year also, and that's like a six out of five. Because anything that Christopher Nolan makes is a six out of five for me. So, in order of the films that I'm interested to see, that have not yet come out, of the ones that we just watched, Dune comes in number one, disclosure date, number two, Toy Story 5, number three, Spider-Man, number four, and I didn't even remember what the last one is.
The Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson, number five. That's how little I care about that movie. I'm just not into it. So, there are my rankings. Leave your rankings below, and then we'll see how I did, whether my expectations were met, or whether I was sadly disappointed.
