The Chicago Bears are about to get one of their biggest tests of training camp when they hit the field with the Cincinnati Bengals for joint practice.

On today’s episode of Chicago Bears Central, Haize breaks down the biggest things Bears fans need to watch as Ben Johnson’s team finally gets the opportunity to measure itself against somebody other than its own teammates.

Johnson has made it clear that he places significant value on joint practices as an evaluation tool, and with competition still raging throughout the roster, the next two weeks could go a long way toward determining who earns a spot on the final 53-man roster.

After putting up four catches for 88 yards in Chicago’s preseason opener, offensive coordinator Press Taylor praised Davis not only for his receiving production but also for his blocking and willingness to do the little things required to earn more opportunities.
