Bears Trade for Bradbury, Stabilize Offensive Line

The Chicago Bears are trading for New England Patriot Center, Garrett Bradbury in exchange for a 2027 5th round draft pick. NFL insider Ian Rappaport broke the news Friday evening. This move comes right after the Bears lost their starting center to retirement. Bradbury brings seven years of NFL experience to Chicago. The 30-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina spent his first six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings after they drafted him 18th overall. Out of North Carolina State in 2019. Last year with the Patriots, he started all 17 regular season games and played in their Super Bowl run. Drew Dauman shocked the Bears by retiring at just 27. He had played every single offensive snap for the team last season, including two playoff games in his first year with Chicago. The team placed him on the reserve retired list Friday after he informed them Tuesday.
