Bears Trade DJ Moore to Bills, Boost Draft Picks

The Chicago Bears have traded wide receiver DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a 20-26 second-round draft pick. The deal also sends a fifth-round pick from Chicago to Buffalo. Right after the news broke, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams shared a heartfelt goodbye on his Instagram story. Williams posted a highlight reel of their biggest plays from last season, set to the song End of Beginning. It showed clutch touchdown grabs against the Green Bay Packers, a score versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, and a wild catch in the end zone versus the Cleveland Browns. He added orange and blue hearts to honor the team colors. Over two seasons together, Williams and Moore built solid chemistry, even if it took time to click. Moore had been a key target for the young quarterback in those big moments on the field. Moore spent three years with the Bears and led the team in receiving each time. In 2025, he hauled in 50 passes for 682 yards and six touchdowns.
