wide receiver DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears. They sent a second round draft pick to Chicago

and got Moore back along with the fifth rounder. This marks one of the first major moves as teams

gear up for next season. Moore had a down year last season with the Bears, posting career lows and

catches and yards while drawing criticism for inconsistent effort on routes. Earlier in his

career though, he put up strong numbers over several seasons with Carolina and his first couple

years in Chicago. Analysts have mixed takes on the deal. ESPN's Seth Walder called it an overpay,

pointing out the Bills could have waited for free agents instead of giving up draft capital

right away. He noted Buffalo's urgent need at receiver and Moore's past work with new head coach

Joe Brady. The Bills desperation stems from thin depth at the position heading into a critical

2026 campaign. Still, they're not stopping here and have been linked to draft prospects like

Washington's Denzel Boston and Oregon's Malik Benson. With Khalil Shakira set to lead the group,

a smart draft pick could turn this into a solid receiver room and boost Buffalo's chances in the

tough AFC. East.
