BBC Presenter's Rolex Stolen in London Mugging

0:00On March 6th, BBC Breakfast presenter Ben Thompson had his 7,000-pound Rolex watch stolen by a gang of muggers in Central London last March. He was walking home from a restaurant in Mayfair, with his friend Roja Dove, when six men attacked them. The robbers grabbed Dove's 150,000-pound diamond watch, too, before fleeing the scene. A spotter have been watching the pair leave the restaurant, and CCTV footage later identified two of the attackers. Those men, 26-year-old Hussein Bulanoir and 36-year-old Danis Tom Dieter, face charges at the Old Bailey this week. Both victims described deep emotional scars from the attack. Thompson said he now feels nervous around joggers or cyclists and battles constant anxiety and flashbacks. Dove, who runs a luxury perfume business, added that the theft made his hard work feel pointless and left him on high alert in the city he once loved. The judge called it a frightening nighttime assault in Central London and handed down sentences.

1:00Bulanoir, who had prior theft convictions, got four years and three months. Tom Dieter received two years and nine months. Police still haven't identified the other four robbers.
