I do, I have to apologize because I think that there was an issue over at my house. I'm watching and my, my episode got cut off right at the end. I must have missed it. My internet, my cable must have gone out because I didn't get to see the end of the episode when there was the elimination. So I apologize, Taryn, I'm going to have to lean on you to tell me what happened because it was so weird. Yeah, I don't know how to say this, Rob. The same thing happened to me.
So, Aman is going to have to carry this one, I think. Aman, hopefully that you have, you got the end. I got off for us. Um, I think the same thing happened to me as well. Oh no. Yeah, something, I don't know, I was thinking that maybe one of y'all maybe. But I feel like my, my satellite cut out or whatever. Do we still use satellites with TV? I don't know, something cut out. Cut out. We'll do. Yeah. Yeah. Any luck for you, Levina? I have terrible news. It's seemingly my Wi-Fi went out. Yeah. Well, this is fair because we were in Rehapcon in Milwaukee in a room with about 500 people and when Julie announced on Thursday night, hey, everybody just so you know, the feeds are going to be down all weekend and 500 people groaned in unison.
Like, what do you mean the feeds are going to even know they weren't on the whole weekend. Uh, people were big mad about that. But the TV show viewers got to say, well, doesn't really affect me. And tonight TV show viewers, you got to get all hot and bothered and then get left on the edge of extinction and not getting to know what happens for three more days on TV. What are we doing? I don't know. That's the thing. It's just like we're going back and forth like they do this whole big announcement of, oh, it's going to be a twist that we've never seen before, even though we saw it last year. And then like the feeds are going to be down because we want to save everything. And then like never mind the feeds aren't going to be down. And then they give us episode where the episode feeds go down. It's just I'm so mad. I want to scream like melody. Yeah, which was the best part of the episode for me, by the way, and that what was that?
Like the first 60 seconds of it. Like I go ahead. What what happened, what happened was last night, a full day early, the big brother Twitter account was like, hey, we're working on something for you. Just because, you know, we, we care, you know, we're working on getting these live feeds back up for you. You know, we, we heard the complaints and let's, let's get these live feeds back up for you guys. Let's, how about that? Sure. What do you think about that? I love it. And so the live feeds were like, why? Why did they do this? I can't figure out any practical reason why they would have done this. There's no way they did it for us, right? And tonight answered that question. What happened was on Saturday, the editors went to the producers and said, guys, we have bad news. Yeah, we can't fit it in one episode.
And so they went, oh, shit. Well, I guess we might as well turn the feeds on then because we have two choices. We leave the feeds off until Wednesday. Or it doesn't matter if it gets spoiled. Yes. And so luckily for us, they didn't go that far. Well, luckily it was the lesser of two evils that they chose to not have the feeds down for a week to hide the elimination. And you know, I think we're going to have to do non-spoiler for about about eight minutes of this podcast because I think that we probably need to be able to talk about this. I don't even know what we would talk about for, to do non-spoiler for the whole time, rather than like break down every single one of the comps. But I have to say, we were all in the same page, Tyron. You broke it down on the live feed update. Like, you know, if they're going to do this, that this was as good as they could have done it, it was fair the way that they did this. If you're going to have this type of instant elimination,
bottle episode, great. But it's supposed to be a bottle episode. We're going to have a week and a half of this is the show. This one night, what it was doing. Yeah, we were. Wednesday is going to be the final elimination contest. Followed by the H-O-H competition. Yes. Followed by a nomination ceremony. Followed by a veto draw, which they'll probably skip. Followed by a veto competition. Followed by a veto ceremony. Or it makes a clear that I can push into Thursday. You're going to say it's starting to feel like a challenge where everything comes. Pushed and pushed and pushed. And so it actually makes sense. No spoilers, but there's something else that they have to do on Wednesday as well that takes up a lot of time, normally. But also, I knew we were in for a horrible ride when announcer guy, Mr. B was like, oh, we have no time. So we're going to blah, blah, blah. I was like, you guys did not prepare this. What? So ever.
But it's what's funny to me is like the content needs to be better for it to be. I get you didn't prep and like whatever. So it's like it's like you're cramming everything in. But like the way that they're like advertising it is like something crazy happen. It's amazing. That's like if D or Devon's got eliminated, like sure, do this, put the feeds down. That's fun. It's not fine. But if it was this result, like yeah, I get it. It's more of a gag. Yeah. I just... Haley? Yeah. Um, I just don't get like a we couldn't like squeeze that compressed any of this for time. Like we certainly could have because Brittany was reading those instructions for quite some time. Like I feel like the edit was all over the place. Well, they were cutting like this was a chop job in tonight. Like this was messy. But what was the issue that just to put together all the cops? I mean, I guess it was a lot of competitions to put the I don't know.
I don't know what they thought this was going to look like. Maybe the Big Brother 1000 after party was a real rager. And basically there just wasn't enough time to get back to work and finish the episode for tonight. People had one too many shots at the at the the backyard party before filming. Well, we'll talk about that. But I think that that definitely was the case for some of the people hosting the competitions. And I don't know about you guys, but I I kind of needed the explanation three times because this was so confusing. Yeah. How this was the rules of how things went. Yeah, somebody wins and then they give safety and then they choose other people to go compete. Yeah. And then those people win and choose safety. But then they also compete. But then there's an end competition. And then those people are not safe. And it was like, whoa, whoa. This is so I wasn't sure if I missed it or if it wasn't in the episode did Barrett save Melody when he came back into the house.
I think that was what we cliffhangered on, right? The Barrett was sending he had no safety. He was just sending people in and then by property. But yeah, she wasn't even in the discussion. It seemed like I was like, did I miss it that he already gave the safety to her? Because they weren't even talking about if she should be one of the people they sent into the backyard. Yeah, like I thought the assumption just was that obviously she wouldn't go in I think. Yeah. Yeah. But I'm surprised that none of the vets were pushing for her to be, she seems like a person that Hailey could beat and somebody that they wouldn't mind if she went home in that spot. I was surprised that she wasn't part of that conversation. I mean, go ahead. You know, when it comes to Hailey, I feel like it's not entirely like that obvious about who is going to be able to take her out. So I think they were just more concerned about themselves as opposed to like,
who can we, as long as all three of us are going to make it through, then we can prioritize this girl. But it just really felt like they were just more focused on how they were going to make it through. I think the timing was too quick to turn like that. They had Drew save Angela under the promise that that melody would be saved next. So like flipping that quickly on them would have been I think a lot to manage not to mention the fact that they were still just hours from the Malarivo and Barrett probably wouldn't have been willing to do it in the first place either. So it's just again, like sort of a victim of this compressed format that like, yeah, they probably would have tried, but they didn't have time to. Mm-hmm. Okay. All right. I'm going to make the call. This is officially where we're going to talk about the outcome of this and we're talking about everything. So I'm not going to play the song. It's just we're 10 minutes into the podcast. All right. So ultimately we know that Haley is going to be the person who ends up going out.
And it was oddly a very light episode in terms of Haley content. Taren, we barely heard from Haley. Yeah, I feel like we heard that this went until like 5 a.m. in the morning. Um, honestly, my best guess was that they were like, screw it. I don't feel like pulling her back into new PRs. Yeah. Well, that's an impression I got to. I think she didn't feel like talking or wasn't giving enough. She might have been hot, literally and figuratively, a mom. She was out there. They talked about, I saw Tiffany said on chat PCC. It was 113 degrees in the backyard and here she is. And there's no rest for for Haley. They did her a favor by putting her in that first comp. But in a way, they ended up locking her in the backyard. And she had to keep competing. And she's like sweating bullets by the end of this thing. Yeah, she was glistening like a crispy cream doughnut honey. Like, if I like after every commercial
break, it was just another layer of sweat on the poor girl. I don't know why I'm travel. I don't know why it took that long because the competitions themselves, while difficult, didn't seem like they should have been 5 a.m. worthy. But I don't know. Maybe the cameras were overheating too. I don't know. It's just it's it's it's a long time. And but I do always. I'm just gonna say I do hope that we do get more from her on Wednesday because you know, I feel like thog has been such a lightning rod. You know what? So much story. She went out in the same way she came into this world. We met her and she was go ahead girl, give us nothing. And in the end, we've come full circle. Yeah, that's beautiful. Yeah. I mean, I wonder if she also was like maybe not happy with how it went. And then maybe didn't want to talk at the end of this.
Definitely would have been happy. I mean, I don't expect like as the time yeah, no, I don't think like even in this next episode, they're gonna it's gonna showcase as much either because she's not. That that was my first impression that she's not giving anything. I was spoiled, obviously. So yeah, in terms of exit interviews for Haley. I mean, this is interesting because we were supposed to talk that Haley tomorrow. So that was the one thing that was in the back of my mind watching the episode was we were scheduled to do our exit interview with Haley tomorrow morning. And so even though it was like 957, I'm like, I guess they're gonna get this competition in because we're supposed to talk to Haley tomorrow. And now we just got word that the Haley exit interview will now be Thursday. So it'll be a big thogs day exit interview. Is this the last exit interview? You know, are we jury now? We are. So last exit interview of the live exit interviews for BB 28 because we don't do them
for the jury. And as that will now be Thursday for Haley. And you know, which is fine. You know, I don't think that much of the house dynamics have changed with Haley being gone. She has sort of been the flailing and struggling as it were for a number of weeks. So with her out, I'm just more excited for things to really get down to the wire. So yeah, girl, go ahead, give us nothing. We'll see you later. But honestly, I'm on that. I'm mad because if they were going to do this whole thing, if they were going to make this like so special. And like, imagine if they had done for the 1,000 episode, we're going to do a double eviction, you know, the way that the double evictions used to be so iconic. And they don't control the outcomes of these things. I completely understand. But it's such a nothing burger for me that it feels like I feel like I like I feel like I was
like duped a little bit. Yeah. They spent all they brought all these people in Tiffany looked gorgeous. Like, we know, Brittany looked gorgeous. I'm glad we saw them. But like, bring people on for something moderate. Yeah. No, they really did. Like this whole, you know, hubbub about the 1,000th episode. And they really did just like, just take a massive dump on every like core aspect of what the show is. Like, let's take the feeds away. Let's make an elimination where there's no voting. It's just competitions. It's better than the hamster wheel was. But that's not saying that much. And it's all going to be pre-taped instead of live, like a double eviction might have been. It's no live feeds during it. No live feeds after it. And then also, we're going to screw it up. We're not going to be able to fit it into an episode. And we're going to have to leave it on a cliffhanger. And we have to pretend like we didn't screw
it up so that everyone watches because, you know, we want this to be our highest rated episode of the season or whatever. And it's just like, what are we doing here? You reached 1,000 episodes with because you are a thing. Don't try to be a different thing. But I think we were prepared for what this was. We knew the outcome. It was haily. I really, I went into this episode tonight feeling like, okay, let's see how this all plays out. This will be great. I'm self-contained bottle episode. But the fact that we could not even get to the competition in this episode is what's so infuriating about this. They just don't care, y'all. They just don't. They don't care. I see. I do think they care. They may not care about the same things that you or the people that are watching the live feeds all the time care about. I think that they did want to eat with this. But, but, but what they served. Now, I don't know if that's a buffet, but I'm not going there.
Well, like, yeah, sorry. Go ahead. No, no, no, you go. I was done. I just, I, I don't know. I do. Okay. Maybe saying that they do not care is a little too much, but I just don't think that they, they just don't have the pulse. And we've, and we've seen it time after time after time. Like, to tell this as your thousand episode, you know what was going to happen. You know, like, somebody on production was counting the days until the thousand episode. We knew they knew last season that people 28 was going to be this landmark, this landmark thing. Like, there's so much time and energy that could have been put into this. And even the alumni are over there. Like, you know, a lot of them are very, very happy that they were asked back to see what they asked everybody back. But, a lot of them were very happy and very pleased and very grateful. And I think they should be. But even they were feeling like we're throwing into this warehouse. Well, that's a whole different story. Yeah, we're in the back rooms. We don't, we only, we're only allowed one cupcake.
And it just, I don't know. It just feels like there. It just feels like, again, and that's at this during during the con. I just feel like a survivor does such a good job of honoring itself. Yes, it can be a little self-aggrandizing at times. But that's okay. As long as your deliver are really good products. And I feel like a lot of the time, big brother, they tout themselves as a record-breaking show and something that garnishes the eyes of so many people, celebrities and civilians alike. But then when it comes down to actually congratulating itself, it always falls flat. And I don't think that that needs to be the case. I really don't. And I'm not sure what's going on over there. I don't know if it's just the thing that I just returned back to was I just thought that they really care that much. I think that they are very, very happy to have a job and to produce a show and to have it be one of the more easier shows to produce on television. And then that's it. And that okay, I guess, I mean, we're also here. We're all watching and we're all talking about it. So we're not going anywhere. But it would be nice from time to time if they were going to,
you know, give us, give us something good. You know, yeah. Yeah. I think they just, they bid off more than they could chew with this. Like I think that they thought it was going to be like a what, okay, it's going to be one, a one night spectacular. And I think that they didn't realize that there were going to be so many moving parts to make this. And I think they thought it was going to be a spectacle and that people were going to be talking about it. But it's, you know, did not land. I don't want to harp on this because I said it already. But it's very hard for me because something in my brain that stuck in my brain forever is that BB 14e and Terry went like double eviction veto win. And I think that like if they wanted something grandiose, like don't fix what's not broken, like do what you do. It's like Taren said, like, be the show that you are and do just do a double. Like if they wanted to do a triple fine, even that I'm fine. If it's a if it's a live thing,
like if it's a live component, use the alumni, like make it something exciting. I don't yes. I really wanted the alumni to have a bigger part of this. And not get it wrong. I love the clip show that they did. I was getting Terry eyed and so many other people in the area. I'd like the Nizhda Holtz you're really hit for me. But I really wanted this to be like a choose your fighter situation. And like have your favorite alumni that's available. Come back and you know compete for you in this do or die competition where you have to bet your big brother life on somebody that you've been watching for years and years and years. That to me, screams 1000 episodes, it screams, you know, reverence for the people that have made the show what it is. Like that would have been amazing for me, but whatever. Not to mention they moved the show an hour later tonight also. Yeah. All right. P Daly Park. For good reason. But Daly, but Daly's memorial could have been at nine o'clock. Nine to five. That's what she would have
wanted. Okay. That's sweet. Would have been on to the way to honor her. I want to talk a little bit about that the plan that the vets were cooking here because D ends up winning the first round of the competition and she has to make a decision. I thought some interesting decisions. She I thought it would be make more sense to save Angela as opposed to save Rick. We didn't have live feeds. We didn't see Rick talk to D. Taren, did you think that was an interesting decision that she made to save Rick in that spot? It was interesting. And I will say that there has been now a conversation between Angela and D that makes a little more sense. Angela was saying that she worried a bit about their relationship and wondered if they had a final two. So clearly Angela was a little bit shaken from this. But he did have a pretty good excuse, which is
that Devon saved her with the diamond power of veto. It did make strategically more sense to keep Devon's in the mix. But only vaguely, like again, the rules were so weird and complicated that they didn't really even matter that much. They were still probably going to use Drew and Barrett as their champions and just leave Devon as somebody to be saved anyway. So I think ultimately didn't really matter. I think Angela did a good job of advocating for herself and being able to look like if you want me around, you have to save me here. And she made it more of a comfortable position for D to not throw her the bone than to put Devon's up. So it's just, I think Angela did what she needed to do. Even though I don't necessarily know if Angela would have done necessarily poorly at these competitions that we've seen this far. So it's interesting.
We didn't see Keanu yet. Did we? No, he didn't get the Keanu. Okay. Okay. They teased him too. That's what drives me crazy. They teased him and then he didn't show up. That's like the worst thing you can do in TV. Don't tease something and then don't do it the next episode. But what's interesting for me with that, my first thought watching that go down when she decided to pick Devons, when D decided to pick Devons was why is an Angela more paranoid than she is? Why is she not more like, there's three icons, two of them are survivor players. And I ain't one of them. Like, what do you think that at some point? I feel like we're in the jury phase now. And if I were her, I would have thought that a long time ago. And someone like Angela, I'm shocked that we haven't seen diary rooms of her like panicking over exactly this. I get it could be too early, but I feel like we don't have time to shift them in the episode. Maybe it's on Wednesday.
We saw like B-roll of her like free like, like he was like, well, Angela is in a state. I, you know, she's not going to be able to win a comp and it cut to Angela like, I said, but then she was saved. You know, it was like, oh, yeah, that's over. But it was just so odd because we didn't even see like, do you have a conversation with Rick about, hey, what do you think? Should I, should I save you or Angela? Like, I would think that Rick, where we're talking about Rick is volunteering to go up on the block as a pawn, it totally seems like it would be a Rick Devons thing to say, hey, give, I'll take my shot in three more competitions. Like, just put me in the next competition. I'll win and save myself. Yeah. I, um, and it's, I feel like he's been doing a lot of this. I mean, we haven't gotten quite to the spoilers yet, but this seems to be where we're there. We're there, I'm on. Where are you going to go tonight? I mean, it seems like that is his, uh, his,
his ammo right now is to throw himself in in front of the ladies. I don't know if it's like a chivalrous thing or if it's like a thing where he feels like he needs to start making bigger plays to separate himself from, um, the other two, I don't know, but, um, yeah, you know, it worked in Angela's favorites tonight. I don't know if it's going to work. Well, later this week, we'll see. Yeah. So after that, D throws in Drew and Haley. And ultimately, we're going to see that Drew wins, but Tara, I think it turns out that the worst spot to be is the person who's left outside because that inside the house is where all of the strategizing is happening. I mean, to some degree, right? Like it's, it's a little bit complicated because, um, if you go outside, you have the most amount of chances to actually save yourself by winning a competition and being able to compete in two different one-on-ones before the final round
gives you theoretically the best shot, um, except the, the, the even better spot is to be the, in the Angela spot of we're not going to send you out, we're just going to guaranteed save one of you, save you. Um, but you only get that if you are the person like there's only so many spots that they can do that for. So some people have to go out and compete. Some people have to stand side. And it's again, it's just like it, it's, it, obviously, this is the sort of like, successor to the hamster wheel thing, but it's just another one of these kind of like overly complicated systems that ultimately just comes down to competitions for the most part, but it's also kind of like weirdly difficult to strategize around and just kind of ends up being relatively straightforward. I do think we get some interesting results out of it, primarily the yash volunteering thing, but like aside from that, it just felt like, okay, D is an H-o-H and gets to mostly pick who
is going to be vulnerable, depending on who wins the one-on-ones. It's going to be some combination of yash, Taylor, Lala, and whoever loses the one-on-ones. Um, and that's kind of what it ended up being. We just was a very complicated process to get there. Yeah, I kind of wish that they weren't allowed to go back inside. I think if Haley had to be out there to suffer and the heat, then all of them should have made, been made to suffer in the heat because I think that that would have just exacerbated everybody's stress. It might have made, um, for, and more interesting, so I had to strategize because they have nowhere else to go other than to talk out in the open. Maybe things get a little, you know, some cans of worms gets opened. Um, yeah, I just feel like if you allow people to have these private conversations, like as much as your, your stouting, oh, uh, no H-o-H, no veto, none of this, none of that. I mean, the players are going to do what they're going to do to try to make the weak as normal as possible, and I feel like all of these one-on-ones and these private conversations kind of just, why was heron just said, made it as if, yeah, there was still an H-o-H,
there were still people that were chosen that were going to be saved from the jump, um, and nothing of real entry happens. So throw them all out there next time. Put them all in the heat. I don't want to see nobody, uh, out here, relax it on the couch, strategize and come on now. Amon, do you know what it reminded me of? You know, I was thinking the whole time. I was like, wow, this is very like lip sync lala parusa smackdown, like, yeah, I'm trying to like, pick the girl who just kept lip syncing. It's like Jasmine Kennedy getting eliminated. It's so like, yeah, I don't, I don't need to see Haley drenched in sweat like outside. Like it made me feel terrible. 114 degrees. I'm shocked. She had a tough night. Right. And that's the thing, Rob, because I think you mentioned this earlier, and I felt similarly, I think, which was that like, after what happened last year, I talked about this this morning that this was like, if last year was like worst case scenario in terms of result, this year was best case scenario in terms of
result. And clearly, before Mula was tweaked a little bit to be to feel a little more fair, there were more choices involved. It was a little less random. Um, and so I expect and, and like, we're a little bit more desensitized to it. Having, having, having happened once now that it's happening again, it's like, oh, we hate this, but we've experienced it before. It's not a fresh wound. It's a reopening of one. Um, and so I came into tonight kind of expecting to be like, okay, this isn't going to feel as bad. Yep. And then it started happening and they started talking about how this is just going to come down to competitions. And it started feeling really bad. I don't like watching this. And Haley of all people out there sweating competition after competition, knowing that she's going to end up losing and her game is going to be ended because of this. Haley of all people, I'm now feeling like this just feels gross. I don't, I don't like enjoy any of this. I want Haley to go out on a vote because the house doesn't like her or get blindsided or
whatever, right? I want her, I want to see her not prioritized by her alliance. And that, that wasn't even the case. She was picked first because they were prioritizing her. And it just didn't work out for her. And it's just like, it just feels bad. And I don't like it. And I want it out of the show. Yeah. Rob, I have a request. Yes. What is it? Can we do? Can we do a thug? You know, was robbed live stream the way that we did last season for Rachel? No, no, no, no, I don't think so. I don't think so. The news banner lower third. The streets want it. Because like, honestly, like, on a very honest note, like, everyone last season was like, no, it's not just because it's Rachel. I would feel the same way about everyone else. And it Loki was crickets on the Twitter street. So like, what I agree fully with what Teran saying, like, she deserved to be voted out because they hate her. Here we go. Yeah.
Yeah. It's um, it does like I, I have not been like, Haley's biggest fan this past season. Well, yeah, you do kind of want to see the come up into it all, but you want to see it happen in a way that that feels good, right? And I feel like her to go out and such it like, you can already tell like even without us seeing the end of what's going to happen. It does, if you can just see it on her face. She's just like, y'all. Yeah, I think she's over it. This might be it for me. And it's like, no, I want to see you like kicking and screaming. I want to see you like, you know, fighting to stay here. I don't think she has that dog in her. I think that she was like when she had a lot of power in the game and then it was like, she was like very entitled during that time. And that was fun to watch in terms of her as a TV character, but her just being downtrodden in the game has has not been a fun experience in a fun ride these last couple of weeks.
I mean, she's been saying it over and over again. She's had a bad couple of weeks. Yeah, but that was funny when she was having good weeks like, yeah, she was saying she had bad weeks. Yeah. It's kind of a bad week. Yeah. Taren, so if she was going to do the exit interviews tomorrow, does that mean that she is now in sequester for four more days? Oh, God. I don't know. Right? Like, I mean, I know that they that sometimes like, there's another wave of interviews, I think, that happens days later than the than the initial ones. So like, maybe they will just send her home. But but theoretically, they can't like they they're they kind of shouldn't right because she hasn't been eliminated from the episodes yet. So she comes home. That's a spoiler. I so I don't know. I mean, I would hope not quite frankly. I would hope that it's like a soft sequester. Yeah. You know what I mean, it's like, you don't have to be hidden away in the hotel, but you cannot leave the state of California. Like you have to be
but what let her go or house like the survivors go home after the show's over like, I mean, but if you want her to be, well, I mean, how many of the interviews are actually in person, none of them, right? They're all virtual, aren't they? All virtual. Yeah. Okay. Well, yeah, screw that. Go home. Yeah. Honestly, though, yeah. This is I just really quickly. This is an important lesson for all of us here and everyone listening. Do not ever externalize something and accidentally manifest something bad happening to you because that girl been saying, it's been a bad week. And finally, if she's still sequestered, that's a bad week. And getting eliminated the way that you have. Yeah. Be careful. Everybody who's listening, you need to tell yourself, it's going to be another good week this week. Today is going to be a great day. It's going to be a great week. You need to put yourself into positive mindset. And Haley, you're right, Lovina. She talked yourself into this one. Yeah. I agree. We should manifest more like their baby.
Oh my god. See, I wiped that out of my brain. I like the type like I wrote it down to say something about it and do a bit, but it fell out of my head. Yeah. Whenever Danny Devon says baby boy, Drew, follow. Okay. Well, this is all leading up to a decision and a confusing one at the end of the episode where Barrett has to pick not one, but two people to go back into the backyard to face Haley. The winner of that competition will then decide who of the other people in that competition will be eliminated. The people who are up to go do that are Melody, Yash, Taylor and Lala. And two of them will be picked to face off with Haley. Do I have that all correct? Yes. Yes. Okay. And that's where we end the episode on Barrett having to make this decision. But here comes Yash, who says, Hey, this might be crazy. But what if I go into the cop? Yes, King, go and give us
everything I have been fully baptized into the church of Yash. Yash, that is a man. Okay. He's going full Tucker. Full Tucker. He's going in to keep his and his own safe. And I mean, granted, I'd probably be having a entirely different reaction. Had Haley been the one to come on top, but at stands, we know what's going to happen. And I just live. I just live for it because even even though he has like, he's kind of playing big brother right now with like one arm tied behind his back with this whole BB bribe situation, but he is still taking risks to make sure that he has numbers and that he can keep Taylor and Lala safe. And to that, I say, scholar and a gentleman. Yes. And just everybody watching at home, it's great that Aman is here
for this reminder, the audience has Yash in the draft. We could be potentially on a trajectory where the audience, you the audience could win the draft for the very first time. Yes. I'm saying so iconic. And if it's Yash, that's a hell of a good first win. Yeah. I'm here for it. Jared, I was texting with the Riz God who was reciting to me the prediction he made with us that he said that Yash was going to win. He's feeling very bullish about Yash. I don't disagree. I mean, listen, this is definitely the kind of move that is like high risk high reward. It's very funny actually that it's happening this season because it's very reminiscent of like Chris on edge of extinction, like putting himself into fire to beat Devons and prevent Devons from winning the game. In the sense that's last knew what that was.
Right. And if Yash had lost this final competition, he's he's a dummy, right? Like he is like what a dummy. He just gave up his game when he had safety and now he's gone. And let me tell you from the retelling, he almost lost this competition. And so this is really like a live and be a hero or die and be an idiot because this could have been bad. But it was a high risk high reward scenario taking Haley out of the game puts Yash in a much better position moving forward. What does it get to lose to his place in the game when he could comp out and win? Yeah. Yeah. I guess so. I guess I'm reversed LeWon. Yeah. But if he's going to comp out and win the game, like he's got to be able to win this comp. Yeah. If you were comps, you have to win the much easier it is to comp out. Yeah. I mean, I will say it is, it is, you know, to your point, Rob, it is he still has quite a ways to go, right? Like it's not written in the stars quite yet. There's a lot of things
that can go wrong. He is not without competition for a few of these comps. But to do your best to pad your numbers and to keep, you know, yourself as insulated as you can, given the situation, I just, you know, that is the, that is those are the plays that we love to see if it whether that is the stuff that gives this show the zest that it needs for us to be like, yes, like give us it, give us, give us the show with that you want to be here. And I, I loved it. I love it. He's been such a good TV character too. Yeah. He's going to make a good TV moment after nothing today. He's the becoming Rick Devons. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Tara. So who did he almost lose to? Haley? Yes. And Haley. Haley got pretty close. And then chief, they were stacking things she got pretty close and then her thing dropped. And then he, he would have donated him over. Was it Lala or Taylor that
went in? Lala. Yes. So there's definitely a world where she, she takes out Lala, especially if she doesn't have a chance to consult with the rest of them. But who knows, right? Like, but that, but that is a good point in the, in the sense that like the risk for Yash is not that is not as high as like do or die for sure. Yes. There's a chance Haley doesn't evict him. And if Lala wins, she's also evicting Haley. So like the odds are stacked slightly in his favor at least. Yeah. Who was it that explain do or die in the episode? Was that Drew? I don't remember. Or maybe it was Yash of the, somebody like explain like, this is do or die. It means that you either have to do this or if you don't do this, like you will die. Like, yeah, that is exactly do or die. All our memories. This is what we can't get to the end of the, we got to get to all these confessionals. Yeah. All our memories
is, is Drew infantilizing himself. That's, that's what's bored into my memory. I like their baby. Yeah. No, and Drew was unbearable also when he won the competition in the episode. How many times did he like a yell like Rick Flair over and over again? I don't like when he calls himself the boy. I don't like it when he screams like a, have some respect. We only vote now. Malorie like an hour ago. He's so, oh my god. And to the person that is like running his account that is actively not following all the, yeah, being a mom and not do you mean me? I had to make a big stink about it. I'm sorry. I have to pull my support. I think I'm done now. You're, I think, I think, I think the truth. I have seen the truth and it's not pretty. Okay. And I, I, I, I, I, why are you gonna do in the end? Where, where, where, where, where is your plan? What do you think
is going to happen? Where are you going to go? Who do you think is gonna take you to the end if not for something? Who do you think you can win over? I'm just, I'm, I, I, you, uh, he's like one of those kids and like, you're like in elementary school and there's like this really, this, this, this kid that is not really good at a lot of things and he keeps winning because the people that he's associated with and he just doesn't know it and you're just sitting there like, you're not good. It's not good. Like it's, you're, you're saving yourself some of the time. But what are you doing with that safety? What are we? What moves are you going to make? I just, okay. Is that a common experience and great school? I don't know. It's really following. I'm talking about one of the people that is working. I'm on. Okay. I'm talking about one. He's not all right. He has annoyed me to know and in elementary school and maybe I need to talk to somebody outside of his podcast to get through that. I just, I'm so over it. Andrew, what is the plan?
There isn't one of mine. That's the point. And then he had a few moments with Melody in the episode where he came to her after voting out. Mallory and that didn't go good. He, could I have a hug? No, no, you cannot. No hug. Did you guys catch the way she like, like, pulled herself away from him? I was like, she's gonna have like the crazy. But it was major. I was like, wait a second. No, but to me, the only thing I could think of. And then the second time when he doesn't save her, all I can think of is Dave on saying, this is who you lay with. This is who you lay with. Honestly, yes, in Melody, you're not, you said, you know what, yes, thank you. You are not involved in any of this Melody. Not at all. Okay. Like you, and one hand, I understand it. It's like, you know, he just went into wage. You're out of your yard, you know, you got to,
you know, getting where it's good. But honey, you're making yourself look dumb. You're doing all of this stuff. And then heaven forbid, you're the one that goes and then you're going to be yelling and screaming like your girl in the driveway room. Yeah. And then he didn't save her. It's a safe Angela. This is who you lay with. Yeah. Yeah. Taren, and he's like sincere. Jesus Christ. He's not like sincere. Nobody's like sincere. Love Island reunion. I believe tomorrow. Oh boy. That's so late. He will not choose Melody. Wow. Wow. I just, you know what, you might be onto something. You know, we've spoken a lot. And Taren has spoken a lot specifically about how the house dynamics change when there are vets. Right. And I think that Drew is just such
a textbook example of that. Like every single check, he checks when it comes to not, you know, abandoning yourself, abandoning your game, abandoning the people that really want to work with you, not just because of your proximity to power, but just because they, they genuinely like you. Because at this point, that is the only thing that I can think of why Melody would even still be rocking with you at this point. And just refusing to see, refusing to see the layout of the game. Like it's just, it's, I know that he's 22. But girl, that's 22. Bitch. I just, I just, I wouldn't have been caught dead. Not dead. And I'm the only person that I can think of of like going over a cliff with. But other than that girl, it's a rap. It's a rap. It's also, it's not like it's Dr. Will, you know.
Wake up. So we've been talking about Drew, but we have not been talking about him in the context of him being the new H.O. H. And so a lot of decisions for Drew to make in a post-haley world. Ty, let's just start talking a little bit about the H.O. H. Rain of Drew and where we're at with that. Yeah, it's actually a pretty interesting one. Drew has some very easy nominations in Taylor, Lala and Yash, the three people he is not working with. However, he does not have an easy renomination. And because of the veto result, which was that Yash won the veto, he now, he does have to name a renom. And the issue is that nobody really cares about what Drew wants. So whoever he
nominates, like the other side is going to try to flip the votes against. So if he nominates an icon, Barrett Melody Yash and whoever wins the blockbuster, if it's not the icon, will vote out the icon, four to two. And if he nominates Melody, the icons will very likely flip the vote, the three of them plus Yash Taylor, Lala, whoever else is still there, and vote out Melody. So he doesn't really have the ability to control this vote unless he maybe puts a Barrett, the icons likely won't flip the vote against Barrett unless they hear from Yash Taylor and Lala about how Barrett's actually been working against them and maybe then they would, but maybe at that point Drew would not care as much. But either way, it's like there's not like an easy option. He could try to just fully jump ship from the vets and join Barrett and Melody, but Barrett doesn't want him to join at this point. Barrett is actively fighting Drew and trying to convince him not to join, to keep him in the dark
about everything, which he kind of has to do because he can't risk telling Drew about what's happening, less Drew not nominate an icon. But at the same time, I think also kind of probably correctly identifies that he doesn't really need Drew in the game like that. He doesn't need Drew to be in the good graces of anybody. He certainly doesn't need Drew getting credit for taking at an icon. So like what is Drew to do? Right? Like he's kind of boxed himself into quite a corner and there's not really a good way out. So what is the plan for Monday when Yash pulls himself off the block? Well, there's another thing to talk about, which is that apparently as soon as Drew won the HOH, somebody volunteered to go up on the block in the case of arena. Devons. And he keeps reminding Drew about this fact. Now Devons, if he goes on the block, will be evicted if he doesn't win the blockbuster. He does not know this. He thinks he has Barrett's
vote and he doesn't. Now today, Devons has started to pull back on this, uh, finally, but we don't know if it's like too little too late at this point. The feeds have been down for a little while. So yeah, when I first heard this, I was thinking that this is the thing and we saw this with three. We saw this with Rachel of is this the boy? Uh, am I, do I really want to be here the whole summer? Like this is my last chance. I'm like, but the jury already started. Yeah, I don't think that I don't think this is that. I think this is very much just like what Devons keep saying because Angela and Dier like don't do this. This is a bad idea. Devons keep saying like you guys can pitch that, but I can't because it'll look like I don't trust them. Um, and it's like, who cares? Yeah, at this point. Yeah. You know, you just just be like, do not do this. And you don't have to say, I don't trust them. You can say, Hey, Drew, I'm just not a 100% sure about Barrett. Are you 100% sure about Barrett? Um, I'm just, I'm starting to get a little bit worried. And you
know what, Drew is mad at Barrett right now because Barrett's not taking any of the heat for all the stuff they did together. And so he has so much room to push this onto Barrett. And again, he has started to do so, but it's like, it's late in the game to be pushing this. Uh, and if he goes up on the block, he has absolutely no one to blame, but himself. Levina, do you think that it could be that Rick Devons, he's the last person in the house that hasn't been nominated that he feels like that, maybe if I just break the seal on that here, it's a safe week with Drew's HOH as opposed to whoever wins HOH next, it's like an easy nom for them to say, well, Rick, you know, you haven't been on the block yet. So I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to put you up this week. In terms of his thought process, I could see that being something. Has he done one of his cam talks ever since, Taren? Has Devons done one? I don't recall one, but he, uh, I'm not that I'm thinking of I mean, he may have, it's just been blocked with the whole day of it. That's also true. I could see
him doing that, but there's also just like he's done so many things with logic, not being at the forefront this season and more so of like an entertainment purpose type of thing. That's my inclination first. I would, it could be that. It could be, but I would, I would want it to be the opposite, Rob, like I would be like, look, I've already, I've made it this far without touching the block, like let me extend that as far as I can. Like why I put myself at risk if I really don't need to. And yeah, like let's capitalize on the fact that Drew is um, feeling a little bit sour towards Barrett, you know, you got it. Yeah, look, bitch, you got to choose one of your favorite sons, okay? You got to hit the favorite. That's just what it comes down to, you know, and it just, it just is what it is. Do you want to get to the end of this game that has kind of been rigged in your favor thus far? Or do you want to peter out at the very last second for no, for no good reason? I don't know.
No, I don't know. Taren, Yash has been calling to uh, been referring to Devons in the diary room as daddy Devons talking about Drew. Tonight, he ratcheted up the rhetoric. He called him Grandpa Devons. Yeah. Grandpa Devons, grandmaster. He's also been called. Daddy Devons grand daddy Devons. Daddy wants to know. Who's the baby's baby on what? The big granddaddy. It gradually, the grandpa Devons. Oh my god. He aged him in a couple days. Well, the other thing that we haven't talked about is that we are deep in the spoiler section. Zingbot is coming and Zingbot will be calling Devons old.
He's a never-new. It was right there. Is he really like legit? No, I would do that. Yes. That's the Drew God. That's his power. Okay, never-new pass. Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Uh. He should use it more. Yeah. Okay, so at this hour, it's going to be Drew. Is there anybody else that's, or it's gonna be Devons? Is there anybody else that's in the conversation for who the Renobs gonna be? He told Melody in the episode, I won't nominate you. Yeah, Barrett is, I think, the next, like, leased choice. It did seem like, like, Drew has kind of wanted to, he's been joking that he's going to do it. And so they keep kind of like flirting with this idea and joking with Barrett and joking with Melody about Barrett going on the block. So, like, will that actually happen? It kind of should be probably not for the reasons Drew thinks, but for the reasons that Barrett
has completely flipped on him. But, but again, it's like, it's like, maybe the best decision of a bunch of bad ones, but not even necessarily. But it certainly would save Devons from certain eviction or near certain eviction if he doesn't win the blockbuster. Have they gotten far enough down the road of then, if Devons wins the blockbuster, who would be evicted out of Lala or Taylor? Lala is the target from Drew and I do think she would be evicted, primarily because Yash, I think Barrett and Melody would all of it Lala over Taylor or likely would. And then Drew, worst case scenario at that point, would probably break the tie to a Vick Lala. Obviously, Angela would prefer for Lala to stay, but that's part of why Drew wants Lala gone. He doesn't want Angela to have that option. So, I think her influence might be limited there.
Theoretically, Lala should be the target, not only because of that, but also she's the better competitor at this point between her and Taylor. So, but never take anything for granted in this house at this point. There's still plenty of time for the vote to change. Yeah, I'm still on that sword on Melody not touching that block. I just see that being like for him to avoid all of the tough thinking and the tough analysis. I could just see that being the path of least resistance in his mind and he's just willing to take the abuse that he will get from Melody afterwards. As he's already gotten it. I said this last week about Drew of that, you know, he's died our 1000 deaths already. I feel like that it would be appropriate. Like the vets are going to wake up on Monday, decide, okay, you have to put Melody up on the block and then he ends up by the end of Monday having to do another thing that he said he would never do. He's crying about it the whole time and yeah, yeah.
Let's see it. I don't care. Let's see. If here's my thing, I don't care. Yeah. At all. It would be not that I'm rooting for Rick Devins to go out this week, but for Rick Devins to go out on Drew's HOH accidentally. Like that is like some Shakespearean big brother that would be happening. By daddy. By accident. Friday? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I don't know. I, you know, I, um, I really do feel like it is. I don't know why the option of just throwing caution to the wind and going to the people that you have not been working with is not
something that is like coming across his mind. I don't know why you don't just, and I don't know how successful he would be at it, but it just feels like he's so stuck in this like, you know, what's Aaron was saying early because you've boxed yourself into the position of, hey, like I've been doing this for so long. I really don't have many options at this point. Then what do you really have to lose? Why can't you just be like, look, y'all? I can't do this with these vets anymore. Um, I'm so sorry. Yes. You guys know that I've been playing the middle, but I don't want to play the middle anymore. Um, I'm kind of exhausted. I also don't think that they trust me that much. Um, I don't think that I've been respected over there. And I realized that I'm coming to you guys this late in the game, but I really feel like we should try to finish this BB 28 strong, not survivor strong, not BB 26 strong, but like to finish this with one
of us taking the dub, um, you know, bear it. And I have been through thick and thin. Let's try to make this work. Um, I just don't know why that conversation can't happen. I, it doesn't feel that unobvious to me. It doesn't feel hard to me, but okay, I guess like if you're, if you're willing to be in bed with those three for the end, okay, I just, well, I think there's so much more game to be played. Play it. I'll make the case from Drew's perspective of if he did that, he would be potentially like at the bottom of that five where he's not really in fact, like that, especially if the people like melody are still upset with him. Like I, it doesn't seem like it seemed like it's not a better position than he would be working with the vets. And I think he feels like he has a final three, at least with Devon's and Barrett on the side with the vets. I get that, but like,
again, I just feel like the game can change so quickly and relationships can make and break so quickly in that house, everything can be very, very fluid if you allow it to be fluid. I think that by not doing it and just saying that this is how it's going to be, you're only making it harder for yourself. I don't know. Maybe, maybe my psychology is wrong on this, but I just think that people are far more willing to be fluid in the house than they are not. And are they really going to prioritize getting you out of the house over the three vets that you just turned on? I don't think so. And I think in the amount of time that it takes to get those three vets out of the house, there is so much conversation that can be had. There is so much game that can be played. And you can still wheel and deal. It's not to say that you can't still play in the faces of the vets. There is just like, just play. You know, I, I feel like somebody like Yash in particular who
has been clowning on Drew for being Devon's son. If he were to witness something, this is me spit falling, okay? I don't know for sure. But if he were to witness like an uprising started by Drew to get the five of them together, I think someone like him could have a lot of respect for that. I don't know. I feel like somebody like Yash, the way I've seen him move in this game and conversations that he's had, I could see him like respecting that. And he does, I don't think he automatically goes to the bottom. If he starts an uprising. But the problem is he can't start an uprising. The uprising already exists without him, right? Like he'd be joining at the bottom of an uprising who doesn't even want him to jump on board because they want him left out of it. I guess it would be a different uprising if he frames it in the way. No, I hear me out. If it's been framed in the way that a man put it that he said us newbies should get to the end. I don't
want it. So if it's all of them together, it's a different, I feel like it's framed differently. That's how I feel about it. I just think I think that people place themselves in positions in this game frequently. We see it year after year after year where they feel like that that is their line life. And I just don't think that that's true. I think that people, when you flip the table like that, I think that people start seeing for themselves. Okay, well, this wasn't what I pictured, but it's working. So maybe like that's, I just think that you have to play to the unknown more so than you might give yourself credit for. I don't know. Maybe I'm, maybe I'm spitting into the ocean at this point, but I just, I just want people to feel like, I don't want people to feel like they, they are only allowed to do one thing. When we have seen crazy shit happen in the past, like dance funeral does not have to be the craziest thing that we've seen happen in this game for the past decade or so. The same thing with the leftovers. It doesn't like chicken flip it can. If you flip it, I mean, I think, I think that devil's advocate
here though is that like the same argument applies to sticking with the vets. There's still plenty of time in the game for him to flip on them when the, when the tables are more like, more in his favor, right? Like when ideally melody and baritur still around, but Yash and Lala aren't and he, and they still need to flip on the vets and now they really need him in order to do so. And he's in a much better position to beat them and competitions at that point than maybe he would be beating like Yash and Barrett and Lala or whoever else, right? Like, there's, I do think there's arguments for both sides. The point is that Drew screwed on him either side that he lands on and so he has to just kind of pick which side does he feel better going against in competitions and who is he going to try to bring to the end? We haven't talked about anybody's English accents tonight. Oh, I was actively avoiding. Great segue.
We, Cody. Brittany, have, Brittany, did Brittany have to, I don't think Brittany didn't accept. No, Brittany didn't. I don't know. Brittany, put it, I carried it off. Queen. Cody was so bad. Oh my god. And Tiffany, she was kind of, Tiffany reminded me of Holly Berry in the first X-Men movie when she was supposed to have a Kenyan accent and then went back to American and then back to Kenyan and one teen alone. Like, I'm like girl, but you know, funny. They tried. They tried Rob. They did. They did. Cody sounded like he needed to have like a warm glass of tea or something. Like a lot of flambin is not. Yeah, Cody really like went for like a very serious approach on his accent. He went method. Yeah, we forgot. He used to, you know, I think at one point, he really wanted to be an actor. So, you know, he was like, he's been a movie. Yeah, he's, yeah, he has. He's been a what? What was it with a, what's that guy's name from SNL?
Pete Davidson. He wasn't moving with him. Oh, I love it. I love that they had accents. Get, give me, get, go for it. You know what I mean? Especially if it's bad. I just want to make a foolish foolish. Wait a minute. It's Keon. You're going to have an accent. Oh, God. He's a dungeon master. Why do you have a crump? Yeah, he's good. Oh, they're going to make him say some bullshit. Like, he's got to. He's got to. Yeah, for sure. All right. Anything else tonight from the world, the big brother? Oh my God. We have to recap chat BCC game. Oh, yeah. I mean, I've been trying to go through and I've been watching it on like two X speed. Is there anything that you want to say about it from tonight? For tonight, I think, not that I'm comfortable with.
Yes. I'm sure, I'm sure, Shepel and I will have a lot of updates coming up this week on the Slops. Let's tell you what's coming on this week Monday night. Stock watch. Gonna be a big one this week. Yeah. A lot to discuss. I think this is a really interesting strategy week. The fact that like, we do have these kind of like open debates about what maybe Drew should be doing, dunking on what Devons is doing and all kinds of stuff to talk through there. Not to mention the fact that there are multiple people now gone. We've entered the jury phase. There's tons of ratings to do. We can rate production on how well we think they did this week. There's a lot. This is going to be a good good stock watch, good round table. So soon into my Monday night. Okay. And then over on Patreon, we got a lot coming up this week, including obviously in a patron Q&A coming up tomorrow. I believe that's going to be at 2.30 Eastern and we will be talking about the big brother
weekend. We'll be talking about RehabCon. And so 2.30 Eastern. I did not get to do a patron call on Friday. So we will do one on Monday. Then the Slop on Tuesday night. Boy, these big brother streets, wild stuff going on can't wait to get into all of that with Shepel on the Slop coming up on Tuesday night. And then Taren and I will get back into the big brother mail back. We missed a week last week. And I think there's going to be some big shakeups in the win percentages when we get back together this week. Taren. Yeah. Some big changes for sure. So that'll be interesting. Okay. Then Mike Blueman, I talked about the survivor 51 cast earlier this week. We did at RehabCon. And so if you're interested in knowing more about what's going on for survivor 51, check that out. Levina, what's coming up for you? Just more big brother content and fun stuff on social. Nothing
crazy. All right. You can follow me at LPubs with two S's. All right. Great job tonight. Levina, Aman, how about for you? You can follow me everywhere at Aman ad win. Mia Mattlegori are still over there at the diary room. Trying to find the best big brother player of all time where we have actually been having qualifier matchups for the BB-28 folks. Quite a few of them have actually made it into round two surprisingly so. So check us out over there. Even though the book isn't written yet on the BB-28 people. So the strategy that we've done is to match them up against people that have already lost in round one to see. Like, well, if you can beat one of them, then maybe that means that you can survive. But you know, they still have to, they've only gotten in to round two. They still have to win a matchup in round two. So okay. It's the qualifier. Yeah. It's a little bit like the BB-281,000 tournament. Yes. Great stuff. All right. Great stuff, Aman. And great to see you this past week.
Emil Walkie. Yes. Great to see everybody and you guys and Levina, we missed you and it was such a great time. I hope that you will do this again because I had the, I was like so exhausted at the end of it. And then when I got back this morning to Philly, I was like, oh, I miss everybody. Yeah. I definitely want to do it again. I feel like that there's ways that we can make it even better. But I just thought it was a really special couple days. I thought that the vibes were really great. And it would seem like it was so nice watching so many people interacting in person and playing games and meeting new people. And so I thought that it was a really fun couple of days. And hopefully we'll have more content from RehabCon coming out on Patreon and on social media this week. Taren, what's coming up for you? If you'd update tomorrow, round table tomorrow, I did watch the chat BCC thing. I'll post my reaction to that on Patreon if you're interested.
It was, it was definitely an interesting thing that happened. And that's about it. Well, we'll be hanging out and doing podcasts this week. All right. Thank you so much for joining us and find out what happens on Wednesday. Will we see the end of the big episode 1000 twist, which will end in episode 1000 in two. So be sure to join us then. Take care everyone. Good one. Bye.
