I'm your host, Ternaram Strong, and I'm here today to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 live feeds. It was day 54 in the house and we did have live feeds. They actually came back. If you thought about skipping this one, how dare you? How dare you, I would say? You thought there weren't any feeds. You thought, I don't need to listen to Ternaram talk for 10 minutes. I don't need to do that. Well shame on you, person that's not actually listening to this podcast because you're

4:25going to miss out because the live feeds did come back and there's a lot to talk about. Okay? There's a lot to talk about. We have an elimination result. We have an HOH result. We have nomination results and we have a veto result and we have all kinds of things and implications and strategies to talk about. We will talk about it all here today. So let's just jump straight in. Let's just jump straight in. Last time we saw the feeds, Malarue was still there. Actually, no, not Malarue was still there. Malay had been evicted, of course, because the feeds came back after the eviction. But before the twist happened. So here's what we know about what happened.

5:25The feeds go down. They go into the backyard and there's some kind of twist, maybe not the backyard, maybe somewhere else who knows. They go somewhere and there's some kind of twist happening. We know this. The medieval times. We've got different alumni there to host. We've got Brittany and Cody and Keanu and they're all antiphany and they're doing things. They're hosting different competitions. And here's what we know. A lot of time, but we know a decent amount. We know that there were different competitions played. The winners of the competitions generally got to save someone, I think, something along those lines or something, right? We know that Drew at one point won a competition to save himself and then had the ability to

6:35save somebody else. And he apparently chose to save Angela when Melody was available. He said Angela would have been eliminated if he had not saved her. So this was his chance to save Angela. We believe this happened. So Angela is safe. Drew is safe. There were a lot of rumors that Angela had been eliminated. Those were not true. And then the competitions continued. Melody did manage to win her own safety, I think, or just maybe eventually was safe anyway, Angela was good. Dee and Devons were good. And that left us with some kind of like bottom four ish, or bottom, sorry, bottom four,

7:40bottom five ish of Barrett's Taylor, Yash Lala. And Haley. Oh boy. There were some rumors that Yash perhaps had been eliminated. But here's what apparently have this, what we think happened. That Barrett won some kind of competition and then decided to choose which like final people would compete against each other. The vets really wanted Barrett to choose Taylor and Lala to compete against Haley or something. He had like two, the words they're using are confusing.

8:41But here's the point. Here's the point. There was a final competition that people would, that Haley would be participating in or something like that. And the vets wanted Yash to not be participating in that competition because that would make it harder for Haley to win the competition and save herself. And Yash said, I volunteer to tribute. Yash said, choose me, not Taylor, because I'm coming back. And so Barrett against the wishes of the vets apparently chose Yash to compete with Lala and Haley. They then played a final competition. It was some kind of stacking competition where they had to like stack things to a certain height. And Yash manages to come away with the win.

9:44Yash then gets to choose, see it theoretically, between Haley and Lala who to eliminate from the game. And he chose to eliminate Haley. That is what we believe happened from earlys when I believe that or what I was able to piece together. Some details may be more correct than others. We'll find out tonight in the episode. I'm sure. But that is the general vibe. And that of course means that Haley has been eliminated from the game. And yes, I keep bumping people out of the Avicty box. They're all about to be wiped out when we get to Jerry. So these are your final days with them. Get ready to say goodbye. I'm talking about my graphic here by the way for the listeners.

10:49So that makes our final nine into what could be something like three trios, right? The three vets, Angela Devins and D, the three former fat members, Barrett Drew and Melody. And what is maybe theoretically the remainder of what was very briefly called the covenant, which is Taylor Lala and Yash. But as we know, Barrett was looking to flip on Drew as was Melody. So you know, and Drew has been pretty, pretty pro vets. So like those trios are not exactly what they seem to be. Haley leaving, I will say perhaps very lucky on productions part.

11:52I literally sat on Thursday. Obviously, this is like, we don't like this. I want to know this. We need to be clear about this. We don't like this. It's not good. We don't like people being eliminated because they lose competitions. However, what I will say is, of course, I sat on Thursday, Haley being eliminated would be the best case scenario. So production seemingly got the best case scenario here in terms of just like Haley being a piece on the board that was probably not going to win this game, but was just going to be used to advance other people's games and had no real solid, like super solid connections in the game, like just kind of like sniping her off the board. Mostly just makes things more interesting. So it really was like the most advantageous person to be eliminated by a twist to make

12:53people less mad about the twist that they were very, very mad about last time. We talked about this a lot last year that people were like, oh, if it wasn't Rachel, you wouldn't be so mad at the twist. And my response to that was often, no, of course not. People aren't some monolith where like they care equally about every player and only care about the mechanisms by which they leave. Of course not. They're more upset because it was a person who left that made that at the time really made it seemed like the game would be less interesting and they were really like interested in the storyline and that made it worse on top of something they already didn't like. Right? Now, Haley leaving, almost you might argue a positive in terms of the direction of this game and in terms of the people who like Taley, of which I'm sure there are some.

13:55But it doesn't necessarily make the twist any better. What might make the twist better is that they're seemingly was maybe a little bit more actual, actual strategy involved, not guesswork, right? Not guesswork, safety chain. Oh, you should have known that you'd screw up a hamster wheel and just like that your entire game has gone, there were multiple competitions. There was the ability to actively save people, social hierarchies actually seem to have mattered here. And quite frankly, I say production was maybe lucky that Haley left because that was the best case scenario. But given what we've heard about the structure of this twist, it might have been a little bit more than luck. And this is what I talked about on Thursday as well that in a kind of safety chain where

14:55people are being saved, Haley is the most likely person to be eliminated because there's nobody that's prioritizing her. And that seems like it's what happened here. There were people who had priorities of people they wanted to save and Haley was nobody's priority. She was just a piece to be used on the board, which is why her being eliminated from the game is, again, theoretically, if you agree with my logic, the best case scenario for the elimination here. And so she in some ways was one of the more likely people to be eliminated from this twist. Aside from the fact that of course she might have been able to win a competition to save herself, but you know, at that point it is what it is. So point being, I don't think anybody is going to be super fond of these kinds of twists. We like Big Brother because it's Big Brother. But they may have improved significantly on the incredibly terrible formula that was the

16:03hamster wheel for Big Brother. And we will, I think, have be able to have a more final judgment tonight when it comes to how this actually kind of worked. So let's move forward here. Haley is now gone. And we have to crown a new HOH. Right? HOH, new nominations. So they play in the next HOH. I'm not entirely sure what it was aside from the fact that it was likely some kind of quiz. And in this next HOH, it came down to a final two of melody and drew. We went to a tiebreaker, it seems.

17:04And one of the two of them was like apparently really dead on on the tiebreaker question, like impossible to beat. And that person was drew. He drew is the new HOH. And I didn't make a separate background, a separate graphic here for a drew HOH because I went straight to nominations because we found out his nominations as soon as the feeds came back. And listen, a drew HOH, you probably can guess his nominations immediately because here's what happens. And he's already HOH and we already see his nominations. So his nominations are very predictably Taylor, Lala and Yash.

18:21That's what the feeds come back to. I'm additional information who has not here for this update. So I did want to make sure I included that Drew has a My Chemical Romance album as his HOH album. It was very confusing at first.

20:27Because they didn't seem to have played the veto yet. I did try to figure out which MCR album I couldn't find it. If somebody knows they can say in the chat, you'd kind of assume it's like the black parade. But I don't know. So those people are nominated. And D-melody and Barrett are dressed up in veto costumes along with the HOH and the nominees. Barrett we find out is the host which means melody and D will be playing in the veto. And we also hear that they've already seen Zingba. So much. So much has happened. They've already seen Zingba. We get a general sense of the Zings that they may have received.

21:36We apparently Yash. Yash got the F bomb in his. The Zingba has some classics. He usually drops like an F bomb or some kind of swear. Usually does a song. Yash got zinged for his stupid fucking haircut. Apparently. They call Taylor Boring 24-7, which might have been like a like a Bible thing. I'm not sure. Like a like how you cite a Bible verse. Drew got the song. Some kind of like, I don't know, I don't remember what I don't think they said that what the song was exactly.

22:37But apparently this song, the Drew's song, had some kind of thing in it that implied that Melody is playing him. I could not figure out what exactly it was in the song that implied this. But it's what it but de-capped bringing it up and and and Drew clearly was a little bit spun about it. I don't know. This was their interpretation. They could have been reading into this D especially. It's possible that this is like not true and that they just read into it in a weird way. But it maybe also had, yeah, could have had something to do with like Melody's situation ship. Who knows? Who knows? This is again, we'll have to wait.

23:39We might have to wait until Wednesday to figure out what this is exactly. But we'll see. We'll see. Not entirely sure what Melody's was about for herself. We know Barrett's was about like his chest hair. They called Devon's old. That's most of what I was able to piece together. So Zingbao has happened. We're trying to figure out if the veto has happened yet, turns out it hasn't. They're just in costume before the veto starts. Feeds go down for the veto very quickly. Sorry, before the feed's go down for the veto, we're getting a little more information. So first of all, sorry, it's so much information. It's coming straight out of us. Information we need to analyze this information.

24:40That is what we do here. So Drew is the H.H. nominated La La Taylor Yash. What's interesting about this as a Drew H.H. Is that you might have noticed, you might have noticed if you're looking at the graphic that yes, is imbalanced at the moment because the pieces are all over the place. Don't worry, I'm going to ask for some updated jury focused graphics for next week. But you'll notice that I've, I've D, no pun intended. I've D alphabetized the middle players here because there's two very clear distinct groups that have not been nominated, right? Drew has nominated what was what remains of the covenant. La La Taylor and Yash. But if any of them were to win the veto, he would need to name a replacement nominee. And his only options are the three icons, Angela Devons or D, or Barrett or Melody, the

25:44remainder of FAP. He has to make a pretty difficult decision on that Reno. And here's what makes it even more interesting. If Mallody, who is playing in the veto, wins the veto, she can also force a Reno by using it herself. And the Reno matters a pretty significant amount because if Mallody say work to be the replacement nominee, then the three icons, Angela Devons and D, could all vote Mallody out over La La Taylor or Yash with the one more vote of La La Taylor or Yash, who would likely vote Mallody out over themselves. So Mallody could be voted out if she goes up on the block as the Reno. The same is true of the icons. If Angela Devons or D go up as the replacement nominee, then, then they lose the blockbuster,

26:47then two of Yash and La La and Taylor, whichever of them is off the block and whichever of them wins the blockbuster, can join with Barrett and Melody to vote out an icon. So Drew is very much not in control of the votes this week. And he kind of desperately needs to win the veto or have D win the veto so that he doesn't have to name a replacement nominee because naming a replacement nominee is not only bad for his game in the sense that he has to choose between two groups, but also bad for his game in the sense that he no longer can control the votes in any meaningful way. So we hear, we see, D and Angela talk about this a little bit. What happens if Drew needs a Reno? He says, well, it's not going to be me. Angela says not me either.

27:47I've, we've done it already. And then they say something that is pretty consequential. They say, well, Devons has already volunteered. I'm sorry. What? Come on, bro. Apparently, Devons has already volunteered to be a potential Reno. Why would he do this? Is this true? It's hard to believe. Maybe they're just kind of saying that because they don't want it to be them, but they're clearly talking about like the fact that they might need a volunteer as a Reno impon. Now they both agree, D and Angela, that's stupid. And they should just get Drew to put up his girlfriend, which yeah, that's a lot more, that's a lot closer to what we kind of would have thought would happen there. D says that she wants to find a way also this week to keep Yash. Because Yash is useful to them.

28:49If he wins in HOH, he has to target the rest of the house and not them. And this is also important to think about because obviously Drew's target here would seemingly be Yash, and that should be the right target for Drew. But if all three icons vote to keep Yash, and Barrett and Ormelody join them to keep Yash, Yash stays, right? Like Drew kind of needs the icons to vote out Yash if he wants Yash to go. Now I will say this, I do personally think it's a mistake for the icons to keep Yash in the game. Yeah, it's great that he can't nominate them if he wins HOH, but that doesn't mean that he's not going to eat up comp wins anyway, right? Like if he wins vetoes, if he wins blockbusters, and he's a vote against them, that's bad.

29:52If they can't get rid of him, that's bad. So I do think that they should be looking to take Yash out. They were talking about targeting Yash prior to this, and now that they've lost Haley, it's almost even more important that they take out Yash. And this is another thing, again, so much information that we haven't even talked about, but the fact that Haley is gone changes the game significantly. The vets were in a good position, but now without Haley, they're kind of not. Haley was a deeply important piece on the board for the vets. They had been significantly damaged. Their position had been significantly damaged due to them throwing the HOH to Yash, getting put up on the block, needing to use the diamond power of veto. D kind of saves the day by having the HOH thrown to her, pulling in Haley and taking a big shot and landing on Mallory.

30:55Haley was their secret weapon. Haley was a comp threat that did not get along with most of the house that was basically loyal to them and that everyone would have to deal with. And now she's gone, and now there's so much more reliant on Drew and Barrett than they were before. Yash is a much bigger threat to them than he was before because they don't have Haley to take him out. They don't have anybody left to take him out, especially they don't even realize it yet, but they don't even quite have Barrett to take him out anymore because Barrett and Yash are now working together. And Yash has kind of become one of the biggest threats in the game. He's on the block right now, and if you have the chance to take a shot at him, you really got to take it. But D is so, I think, enamored with this use of the bribe and the fact that his hands are tied when it comes to an HOH that she's got this idea that she kind of wants to keep him around. Now I think that's quite a big mistake, but we haven't even gotten to the video yet.

31:59And I do want to, we'll talk about it more, we'll have a podcast tonight. We've got a roundtable tomorrow. There's plenty of time to talk about all of the implications of Haley being gone, but I just want to re-make sure I'm emphasizing just how dramatically bad it is for the vets that Haley left. This is a very significant turning point for the game that has completely opened the game up. It is really wide open right now. And it's all because Haley has gone. Drew winning this HOH was obviously pretty good for them in one sense, but it could still go poorly for them because, again, Haley is gone and Drew doesn't have a good renom anymore. So they talk about all this, they talk about potentially keeping Yash around, which, like I said, I disagree with. But Devon's joints, and he confirms that he told Drew that he's willing to go up on the

33:00block as a pun, that he, that is something that he has volunteered for, and that he's still willing to do. And he's like, I don't think you should do that. I, like, the votes are too tight, right? And she's right. If Devon's goes up on the block next to two of Lala Taylor Riyosh, and then Devon's loses the blockbuster, I have already outlined that Devon's will just go home as long as Barrett is still anti-Vet. Now they don't know Barrett is anti-Vet, and their minds, it's Angela D. and Barrett would vote for Devon's to stay, and, you know, two of Yash Lala and Melody, Yash Taylor Lala, plus Melody would vote for Devon's to go.

34:03It would be three to three. There are six votes total this week. It would be a three to three vote, and Drew would break the tie to save Devon's. That's what they think will happen. And that is their best case scenario. If they've lost either Drew or Barrett, Devon's just leaves. That's just it. So that's very dangerous, and D points this out. And Devon's is like, I don't know. She says, come on, like, we're relying on Drew to break the tie. He's got nothing on his resume right now. He might feel like he has to make a big move. And Devon's is like, I don't think so. If Drew flipped, he'd be pissing off his only remaining allies. He'd be stuck in a house that all want him gone, and he'll have angered three of the seven jury members. Why would he, I think that such a stupid move, it would be such a huge mistake, he wouldn't make it. Now Devon's, first of all, never overestimate.

35:06Players in the Big Brother House. Plenty of people do plenty of stupid things, and here's my evidence for it, Devon's. You just volunteered to go on the block at the final nine. Number two, Drew's not the only one you need to be concerned about. Number three, don't volunteer to go on the block. It's wild stuff. It's wild stuff, but it does expose a really, I think, interesting dilemma when it comes to Drew. I think there's going to be a lot of conversation around this over the next couple of days. What is the right thing for Drew to do? Because he's played himself into such a corner that, like, he doesn't really have any good options. And I'm just going to get through the rest of this conversation before I really finalize

36:12all of this. But basically, Devon thinks he wouldn't do this. And they talk about the veto competition as 4v2, because Melody will, of course, use the veto to force a renaum. So in a perfect world, Drew puts Melody up, but he shouldn't, because we just flipped the votes against Melody and we'd send her home. And he's like, no, we wouldn't do that. I wouldn't do that. And Devon's like, come on, Dee, you're more cut through it than that. And it's kind of, like, genuinely a little bit awkward between the two of them for a moment. Because she continues to deny that she would flip the votes on Melody. And he's like, come on, what have we been doing this whole game? What do you mean you wouldn't flip the votes on Melody? But this is the point, right? Because, of course, they would. Of course, they would. It's better, like Dee was already talking about wanting to keep Yash. Let's say it's Melody versus Yash on the block. You're going to keep, you're going to keep Melody. Really, Dee, after you were just talking about keeping Yash.

37:16But here's the point, right? We're now envisioning a scenario where if Drew names a renaum of Melody, the icons vote Melody out against his will. And if he nominates Devons, Barrett joins the other side and votes out Devons against Drew's will. And if he keeps the nominations the same, the icons will vote to keep Yash against his will. He has nothing. He has no one. And he can't even control his own HOH. So, he has put in such a bad position here by, again, his own gameplay, largely. And that kind of begs the question of what is the right move for Drew? Obviously, Yash should be his primary target. Yash, I think, is at this point a front runner to win this game.

38:17If not the front runner to win this game. He is one of the biggest comp threats on the board. And he is very anti-Drew and can't nominate any of the Vets. So, Yash should be his primary target. But how do you get Yash out at this point? He might not be able to. If you can't get Yash, who else should he target? Should you go after the Vets? The Vets are like at this point, the only people who are even vaguely interested in working with Drew. Because Barrett's still, from what we've seen, not working with him, not telling him anything, and fully working against him. Melody is like a little bit warmed back up to Drew, but not much still working against him. Lala and Taylor paid him rightfully so. And Yash thinks he's a loser. Who wants him gone.

39:17So, like going after the icons doesn't really make sense positionally. But then also nobody respects him. If he doesn't go after the icons, then how does he win the game in the end? And this might be his only chance to actually make any kind of move. So, like, how can he do anything? Right? He's just, he's so locked into bad options all around. It's, I'm personally finding it such a fascinating spot to analyze. Because it's rare that I feel like I'm looking around in a 360 degree angle. And it's just like, I don't see a single, like, great option here. They're just all shades of bad. And again, you kind of have to blame him for being in the spot in the first place. But I find it quite interesting. So, the feeds go down for the Vito competition.

40:23And they actually come back up quite quickly. It's a very quick, very quick Vito competition. And when they come back up, we discover that Yash has indeed won the Vito. This was the, like, the big Cisaw shovel thing where they put the balls on one side and they balance, they get to get all the balls in there. It's the one that, that, that Frankie won and then lost on the reset week, that, like, Nicole won in the final, like, four, five-ish of BB-22. And it was very quick because apparently Yash did not drop once. He just crushed it. So, you might have been able to anticipate that this is something that's,

41:30that somebody won the Vito that would cause a Renoam and that perhaps Yash did it, considering all of my talk of a potential Renoam and Yash being such a comp threat. But there it is. Yash decorated with the Vito and the weighted red bribe. And this, of course, means that Yash will be pulling himself off the block and Drew will, in fact, need to name a Renoam. And so that brings us to this dilemma, right? Who does Drew put up as the Renoam? And you might have noticed that I very intentionally did leave out one other option. I've been talking about one of the icons or melody. There is one more option. That option is Barrett. If Barrett goes up as the Renoam against Lala and Taylor, then Drew would be able to actually probably control the votes. Because the icons still believe in Barrett, they would not vote him out

42:35as of now that could change. And here's why it could change. Yash, Taylor and Lala know that Barrett has been snaking the icons and could rat him out. So even that is not a guarantee that Barrett would stay. But Barrett leaving is actually not a terrible thing for Drew, considering that Barrett has been pretty anti-Drew to this point. And I will tell you, he's continuing to be pretty anti-Drew. In fact, Barrett at this point is probably aside from Yash, the worst person for Drew in this game right now. He is actively sabotaging Drew at every corner. The problem is Drew doesn't realize that. So when we look at what is the right decision for Drew, I am personally maybe leaning toward a Barrett nom, which is so backwards. And I could never expect Drew to get to that position.

43:41Because again, he just doesn't have a lot of good options. If I were in Drew's spot and I had the information Drew had, I would certainly nominate an icon. But the real thing is there's another tactic, which is not to nominate Devon's thinking he's upon, but to nominate Devon's or D to intentionally target them and make a deal with Yash to do so. Make a deal with Yash, pull in Barrett and Melody and say, hey, we're all going to go against the icons. And try to win back Yash in Melody so that you have a three-three thing going on with Yash Taylor Lala, Drew Barrett Melody. If he's able to win back favor there, maybe there's something that can work, right? That's I think another maybe good option, but it's also quite a difficult one considering his current relationship with Yash Taylor and Lala. So listen, we'll do again plenty of analysis on this over the coming days. I won't bog down too much of this update with it.

She says that he was in a alliance, he never told her about. He seems to know that Barrett told her about it. He says he could have been Barrett and play everyone and not say anything

47:55about it and she says, well, that's what you did. Barrett just didn't clue me in on when to say something about it. So he is clearly a little bit annoyed with Barrett because clearly Barrett has been, he knows that Barrett was like sharing some information about what was going on. Though, again, he does not know the extent to which Barrett has turned. He does not know to my knowledge that they were planning to vote him out over Taylor. And he only knows that Barrett kind of told them that they were working with the that they had been working with the icons. So he's kind of annoyed with Barrett about that, but not to the point that he's turned on Barrett. Or again, again, thinks that Barrett has fully turned on him. Melody does talk to Taylor and we hear a little bit more about where Melody's actually standing right now. Taylor says she hopes Drew nominates Devons because she thinks she can beat Devons in the blockbuster. Melody says, well, I don't think he's nominating Angela. He loves her so much.

48:59Melody's Melody's pretty annoyed that Drew saved Angela in the competition. Is going to be a bit of that. That's going to be a little bit of a thing. They said it would be really good if they could get Devons on the block because if Devons loses the blockbuster, he's gone. They vote him out with Barrett. And best of all, they say, it wouldn't even be Drew's move. It would be theirs. And this is again, part of the catch 22 of Drew's position right now is that they don't even want to they don't want Drew to be part of the move against the icons. They want intentionally to exclude him in plain sight them on the move, so that it's their move and not his. So even if he does nominate an icon, even if it does, even if an icon leaves on his HOH, it still does nothing for his jury odds. It's not even his move. Now that said, considering the way Devons talks about the jury and the way that survivor

50:04jury's seem to work a little bit, Devons is talking a lot about like voting blocks in the jury and how if Drew turned on them, then all three icons would be anti-drew. If that ends up being true, there is a world where Drew not being in on this actually makes it more likely that he has the three icon votes, which actually could be quite good for him if he manages to somehow survive to the final two. But I'm not 100% sold on this idea that number one, all three icons will vote as a block and that number two, that they would vote so stringently, to like if you didn't do everything we wanted, we're not going to vote for you. I don't know if that's going to actually happen. But either way, just again, paints Drew into even more of a corner here this week that he can't, that even if an icon leaves, nobody's going to give him credit for it, which I think is quite funny because I mean, it would be an accident on his end. Taylor and Lala talk about the feeling of the house. Taylor says,

51:06I just feel so much better without so and so around. You know what I mean? Devon's in Drew talk. Devon says he wants to talk about the nominations. He says he's still down to go up, though he'd be pissed if he got voted out. But they agree. The votes are solid. Dean Angela, they're not going to vote him out. And he's got Barrett. Those are three locked in votes. He'd be fine. Dean Barrett joined the conversation. And I just mentioned that Melody is like clearly a bit annoyed that Drew saved Angela over her. Well, there's a little bit of jealousy going on on the other end of this. Drew has noticed that Melody and Yasha are talking in the backyard. And Drew makes a comment. He says he'll Yasha's her new best friend, apparently.

52:06He's like, I'm glad you said it, Drew, because I've been thinking it too. Devon says you should nominate her. Now, Devon's keeps saying that he's good. He's fine to go up on the block as a pawn, but that he would love for Melody to go up if Drew's willing. But he's not really pushing it. He's not really making a case. He's just saying like, if you wanted to, you could do that. I mean, I'm down. But if you wanted to, De says, listen, as long as she's not playing you, Devon's like, well, yeah, if you read into that song, Angela joins the conversation. She's like, Rara crossovers. We've done it. Look how far we've come. It's a big accomplishment in the game of Big Brother. And she's trying to work at a little more subtly. She says Melody would put us up, right? And Drew says, well, probably. And honestly, I think that like me or Barra would be a Reno, I'm over Yasha at this point.

53:07That's the strength of Yasha's son. So Melody and Yasha are in the backyard talking and walking. And I'm talking a lie. They have a better conversation than the ones that the Drew's gonna have with her very soon. And she sells Yasha. She says, I like him, but I don't trust him. The Drew. Yasha's Drew's a sellout. He's a sellout. He should have done what Barrett did. He, they were in the same spot, but Barrett chose to revolt and Drew stayed loyal. And now like is that the most fair in the world? They were not in the same spot. Drew was on the block, right? And I still stand by that I think because literally Drew was the one pushing they turn on the icons just days before and Barrett was the one being a little reluctant. But at this point, it doesn't really matter. The chips fell where they did and Drew is now on the icon side and

54:07Barrett is now not on the icon side, which is great for Barrett at this point and quite bad for Drew. They talk about if they can get Devons on the block, they can vote them out, which is fantastic. And they both talk about not liking Angela. They both didn't like her on her original season, and they don't like her now. She plays victim too much to knowing. A little bit later, Devons Drew and Barrett talk up in the HOH room. Devons again says that he is still available as upon he won't be mad. And I just want to reiterate this as much as I can. This is really, really dumb. Because Drew doesn't seem to want to put Devons on the block.

55:07I drew in the face of Devons constantly telling him it's okay, you can put me up, it's okay, I trust you, you can put me up, it's actually chill, I'm totally fine. It's still like, well, I mean, I'll think about it. It's clear he does not want to do this. And here's I think a couple of reasons why. Number one, Devons, this is Dad, he doesn't want to put up his Dad. Number two, I think if he were to put up an icon, I think he would want to put up D. I think he would love putting D on the block way more than putting Devons on the block. When we talked, because I, first of all, I went live on Patreon when the feeds came back. But I was there saying, like, if Drew is the HOH and there's a Renoam, D would be the most

56:12likely replacement, obviously. And that replacement nominee is incredibly important. Because again, if D is on the block, D is the one that gets voted out as she loses the blockbuster. If Devons is on the block, Devons is the one who gets voted out if he loses the blockbuster. That's a significant difference if you're D or your Devons, right? And I think Drew would love for this nominee to be D because he obviously wants to protect Devons over D. But Devons volunteered. And because Devons not only volunteered but keeps reiterating that he volunteered, it's really difficult for Drew to be like, actually, I want to put up D, who doesn't volunteer, who hasn't volunteered and doesn't want to go. Like, Drew can't put up D when Devons is volunteering and maintain any sense of neutrality. So I think with Devons volunteering, Drew is kind of forced. He's feeling forced to nominate

57:14Devons over D. Now, this is my speculation personally. He hasn't said this out loud. But I think everyone would have agreed that if Drew had to name a replacement, had to choose between Devons or D, he would have picked D. But with Devons constantly volunteering, it's much harder to do that. So I think that's part of why he's reluctant. And here's the second thing. I think he also kind of wants to put up Barrett. I think he's really annoyed about Barrett exposing the crossovers to Mallory and Mallory. I think he's really annoyed that Barrett has come away, Scott, like super clean from the whole situation that he's the one that's being villainized for voting out Mallory. And that Barrett got to vote for Mallory to stay. And that everyone loves Barrett now. And I think he would love to put up Barrett as a pawn here because he thinks that Barrett is very safe. And like it would be great for Barrett to have to experience some heat.

58:15But when Barrett is in the room with Devons saying, I'm volunteering, he can't really make a good case for why it should be Barrett and not the volunteer. So Devons is really like, you know how you talk about throwing people under the bus in Big Brother. Devons is like shoving people out of the line of the bus and then going, bus, me, it's me right here. No, no, over here. Bus right here. Right right here. I'm gonna lay down in the road now. All right. Ready? No, hey, over here. No, bus here. It's not gonna be pretty. He loses that blockbuster. So Drew says, listen, I've been, yeah, I'm thinking about it. But you know, there is only one other person

59:22not in our lines. It's available. Melody could be her too. And I don't doubt that Drew could nominate Melody. Though I don't think he would. Though I don't think he will, I should say. But I do think he could. If they pushed hard enough, they're not. Come on Devons, if this, you know this, you played with Suri. We saw Suri. We've seen her on Survivor. We saw her in Brook. You know what Suri would be doing in this spot, Devons? Suri would be in his ear. It's gotta be Melody. You know what does. Because she would be pushing every angle. Devons says, I trust you guys. I trust the both of you. I know you're not gonna put me up. I know you're not gonna vote me out. That was me correcting myself. He said, I know you're not gonna vote me out. Drew says, my only worry, obviously, is that if I did put a melody,

1:00:25you guys would send her home and Devons like, no, no, we wouldn't. I mean, I do what you wanted. And then Drew jokes about putting Barrett up, saying, you know, you'd be the safest person on the block. And this is why I think that Drew would actually like to put Barrett up. He's gonna joke about putting Barrett up like nonstop through the night. Obviously, Drew's a jokester. It's part of what makes him not as good at this game as he could be. But this is a very pointed joke that he really pushes a lot. Right? So, you know, Devons just continues to volunteer. In the meantime, D is talking to Angela. D wants to push the melody, Reno. She thinks that they might be able to make that happen if they keep pushing this idea that melody is playing Drew and that the singbot song confirmed it. So,

1:01:28let's continue to push melody. This is much more correct than volunteering. But Devons is not on board with this. Devons is again, he's like, I mean, obviously, I would love it if you put up melody, but I'm down. Devons talks to Barrett and he talks more about going up in the block. He says, I didn't plan this, but he literally says, obviously, I'd love for melody to go up instead. But I trust you and Drew, and I think Angela and D would be solid, so I'm fine. Drew talks to Melody out in the backyard. They have a really awkward conversation, I would say. And he jokes about putting Barrett up. He says, I'm putting Barrett up and she goes, are you being serious right now? Why? Why shouldn't I put Barrett up? Are you bullshitting me right now? This isn't funny. I don't know. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. But I don't know what that's all

1:02:34kidding. He asks her a few questions. He like, you know, to be clear, they're both still quite flirty with one another, but there is a tinge of like anger and resentment. They are like, they're like a married couple that that has grown to hate each other, except they haven't even kissed yet. You know what I mean? Like, they're still in the very, very early flirty stage, but they've already grown to resent one another. And so he's asking her like, hey, would you vote me out over Barrett? I just, maybe I would. He's like, I know, I know you would because you're not as mad at him. And he's so upset that she's not as mad at Barrett as he is with him. He's like, you know,

1:03:39Barrett did all the same things as me. He was like, yeah, but Barrett came clean, didn't he? He's like, well, I didn't know. He did it without me. And he's so annoyed that Barrett, she likes Barrett more. And she's not as mad at Barrett. She's like, Barrett wasn't as close to me as you were. We were the ones that had like a final two relationship. He's like, oh, I'm fair. I'm like, now your best friends are Yash. Would you vote out Yash over me? And she just sits down and stops walking with them. She says, don't ask stupid questions. Which to be fair is usually what people say when the answer is something that they don't want to say. 1:07:47So I do think, again, Drew is at least a little bit cognizant of the really rough spot that he is in. He just doesn't have all the information. He hasn't been let in on the revolution and does not see the way out, right? He has been saying that he thinks he wins against the icons. I think it's very telling that he's now saying he doesn't think that he can. Because he's been not only saying that he thinks so to the cameras, he's been saying to other people he thinks that everyone wins against the icons. And now his tune has changed. So clearly, something has changed to change his tune. He talks more with Angela. And I thought this was kind of an interesting conversation. He says that she's getting a little bit worried about how close Devons is with Drew and bear it, that all of what went down last week when she had to nominate Drew and Mallory and Piss off, bear it and Drew and that Devons played good cop. It pushed, it pushed, bear it and Drew toward Devons. And that kind of worries her. And this is very interesting. We know

1:08:50Devons is like deeply loyal to Dee. But Dee, as Devons himself pointed out, is a lot more cut throw than that. And so she's actually concerned that something might happen there. We know it's all fake, but she's actually concerned that something might happen. And there's a little bit of a reason too as well. She's going to confront Devons in a little bit that he apparently made a comment in front of Drew and bear it where he said, did you forget about last week? And he says he doesn't remember saying it, but he's really sorry. He'll be more careful. But I think Dee is like, oh, he's trying to really play up last week and make sure he stays closer to bear it and Drew than me. Again, we know this isn't true, but she's worried it is. And that's worth keeping in mind. Angela says, well, I've been worried about the two of you, Dee and Devons. Surely you've talked about a final two. And he's like, yeah, I mean, he's brought it up, but that's not going to happen. And so there are some small cracks forming here in the icons, armor, just in time for one

1:09:54of them to potentially be taken out. So we'll see what happens there. Yash talks to Angela as well. Quite interesting. They talk about who Drew might renom and how they hope it's not Angela. And they talk a little bit about working together. He says he'll do whatever he can to prevent the renom from being her. And he says, you know what, Angela? And they have like a kind of a lengthy conversation, not super long, but like, you know, a good conversation. And he says, Angela, you're my dog. You're my dog. I never want to put you up ever. Even before people, I have a closer personal relationship with I was thinking about that the other day. And I think this is true. I think Yash is going after the indevents. I think Yash would love to bring Angela to a final four three. You know what I mean? And I think he would target melody,

1:10:56and bear it, and even maybe Lala. You know, I think his number one is Taylor. I don't think that's, I don't think he's picking Angela over Taylor. But I do think he would happily bring Angela a lot further than a lot of other people in this game, just because she's theoretically one of the worst competitors in the house. But I say that, you know, melody has also performed, I think, worse than her at this point, even though she came close in the HOH competition. So, you know, who knows? But either way, he, you know, he says this, he says, I was thinking about this. And he says, I want it to wait to talk to you about it until my back wasn't against the wall. So, you knew it was genuine. But let's, let's ride. Like, let's do this. And it's just like, I'm down. You know, I've, I've never been somebody's dog before. He says, no, you're my dog, but you're my dog. You're my dog, the AWG. Oh, oh, wow. So pay attention to this. Angela, continuing to make good bonds.

1:11:59And again, Haley leaving has changed a lot and it had significantly damaged specifically Angela's game because, De, Haley leaving takes out Angela's best win scenario, which was Angela being taken to the final two by Haley. She doesn't have that anymore. Now, being taken to the final two by Yash is probably not happening and be probably just probably not winning against him. Though, don't take it for granted. But still, good connections to make and on Yash's end, good connection to try to make though, Angela is not exactly the most protecting ally to have. Drew and Barrett talk. And Drew says, should I just put Devons up? Should I just do it? He's volunteering. Again, I seem like he doesn't want to. Barrett says, yeah, yeah, you should. That's what I was thinking. Of course, Barrett wants Devons up

1:13:05so that they can vote Devons out. Barrett, I want to be clear about this. Barrett is lying to Drew and misleading him intentionally so that he can turn around and stab Devons in the back and stab Drew in the back. And in Barrett's ideal scenario, they take out Devons and they move forward as a five person Lala Taylor Yash Barrett melody versus Drew D'An Angela. Moving forward. Drew says, yeah, you know, and here's the thing Barrett, like, Melody putting up the icons is not us doing it, which is actually kind of cool. And it's like, again, at this, like, Drew is, he wants Melody to say, he wants somebody to take a shot at the icons. You know, he wants to work with Barrett, but at this point, Barrett doesn't care. And he might not even need to, depending. Yash is still a major threat for Barrett. And I think he should want to hold on to Drew. But I think that Barrett

1:14:10at this point actually has a case for why he would keep Drew out of this intent. Like, even if Drew wanted to be on board, this is much more Barrett's move if Drew is left out of it. And he can always pick up a powerless Drew afterward. You know what I mean? So like, I don't think he should have voted Drew out over Taylor last week, but I actually don't mind him intentionally leaving Drew out of these machinations about Devons because that just gives Barrett a much more powerful sort of position and resume in the house. And is it cutthroat? Yeah, but like, let's go. I like that where that's what we're here for. It's cutthroat, but not just for the sake of it, like voting him out, seemingly would have been. But either way, Barrett says, I was also thinking, you know, hey, putting Devons up kind of a piece is the other side, right? And I think you need that. And Drew's like, well, I don't think it's going to get me anything though.

1:15:11Barrett's like, well, no, but at least it won't look like I'm their little bitch. Wow, that's not what I would have said, but I just, you know, putting melody up would just look bad, you know? And Drew's like, yeah, yeah, it would, it would, you know, well, hopefully Devons just wins the blockbuster. Who would you put up, Barrett, if you want H.O.H. I mean, would you have to put melody up? And again, I think I think Drew's kind of fishing like, are you ready to take a shot? And Barrett's like, well, better me than you to put melody up. And Drew's like, oh, yeah, I guess Barrett's like, I mean, I do want melody to go as far as possible without, you know, well, also going as far as possible with the crossovers. And Drew's like, yeah, you know, oh, yeah, Devons really shouldn't have volunteered as soon as I won H.O.H. As soon as he won H.O.H. Devons,

1:16:11come on, Barrett. But again, the way Drew is saying this, it really makes it seem like he does not want to do this. And that Devons volunteering has backed him into a corner where he kind of has to. He says it, like, he shouldn't have done that. Why did he do that? Drew says he doesn't really get where melody is in the game. Like, he played her really hard and he's really hoping he, like, he's not getting played by her in response. I assume after that whole Zingba thing. So Drew's head is all over the place and there are so many more options that he could potentially use to nominate here. And Devons volunteering is back to him into this corner. So Drew says his target, by the way, if you're wondering, Drew's target is Lala this week. Now that Yash is coming off the block, Devons is the likely renom at this point. And Lala, he wants Lala gone over Taylor. He thinks Lala is the bigger comp threat.

1:17:15I assume this is because Lala just recently performed better than Taylor in multiple of the competitions that they all just played on top of the fact that she's already one two and Taylor's only one one. And Taylor just lost the blockbuster to him as well. So like, Taylor, a lot of people are looking at Taylor as now, like, potentially the worst competitor in the house. Like Taylor, Melody and Angela are the three lowest, like, worst, worst, quote unquote competitors in the house. And Melody just came and just had that tie breaker with Drew. So I think her stock has risen a little bit recently. Whereas Taylor, I assume, has just performed poorly in competitions just based on the fact that she was, you know, she had to be saved in the twist. And people are just talking about her not being good at competitions and that Lala is better at competitions in her. So we'll see a little bit more for sure later. But Yash talks to Taylor. And this is, this is,

1:18:16man, this was good timing. This is when Yash tells Taylor, which is exactly what I was talking about. He says, Taylor, I picked a bad number one in the game because you don't win anything. Which number one is confirmation that they're thinking of Taylor as a, as not a big threat in competitions. And number two, confirmation is something that I think we've known for a while, which is that Taylor is Yash's number one. Taylor also, I think, has Yash as her number one for what it's worth. Would that mean that Taylor would take Yash to the final two over Lala? I don't know. But she loves Yash and she said as much yesterday, especially the fact that he intentionally like volunteered as tribute in the twist to save her. So a dynamic duo here for sure. Yash goes upstairs and he talks to Drew. Drew says, listen, Yash, I hope you don't hate me for putting you up. I'm sure you'll put me up if you win. And Yash is like, I don't even know, bro, the game changes so quick. And this is like, again, it's so fun to watch Yash as a player and

1:19:23how much he's evolved from week one as somebody who didn't really know the game all that much to now, where he seems to perhaps know the game a little bit more than even some of the vets playing this game. Because this is something that I feel like I've been trying to say all season long, that like big brother is a long game. And things change. People in the house are talking about Lala's potential winner of this game. And weeks and weeks ago, it was like Lala has no chance to win this game. Devons is volunteering to go up on the block because he thinks he's good. And we know he's not. But even if he was just the fact that it's that close means you shouldn't do it because there are days and days and days for things to change. Things change all the time in big brother. It is a constant of the game. And so even steamroll seasons, things change. Like right on big brother's 16, things changed when Derek saved Zach, right? And a reset week happened as well in that season.

1:20:31Things change. So Yash, I think correctly says, hey, game changes so quick. Now we know Yash probably can't can't target the vets and almost has to target Drew if he wins an HH. But of course, he shouldn't say that. Drew implies that Yash was never the target for him that essentially Lala has been his target the whole time. And Yash says, well, listen, Drew, this is your chance to show the house and America that you can have like a respectable HH. This is a chance to take a shot at the icons without actually getting the blood on your hands because it's forced. And Drew doesn't really give him much. He doesn't really tell him what the plans are for the Renoam. But he tries to imply that he's not going to be nominating. He says he's not going to be nominating Barrett or Melody. He just doesn't say exactly that it's going to be devins at this point. Now Barrett is talking to Taylor downstairs about how

1:21:35despite Drew being a little Hush about it. Barrett is telling Taylor everything that he talked about with Drew. He says the Drew is going to put devins up on the block because he thinks devins will stay and he wants to target Lala. But don't worry, Taylor. I'm voting devins out. So Taylor goes upstairs. She joins Drew and Yash, they hang out for a while and eventually Drew says, like don't worry, Taylor, you're not going anywhere. And she's like, are you saying if it's a 3-3 vote, I've got your tiebreaker. He's like, maybe I can't confirm or deny. But basically he's telling her Lala is his target over her and that he would keep her in a tie. So they leave Melody comes up, they hang out for hours. They hang out for hours late at night. They Melody and Drew often hang out late into the night. But now they have an HOH room and they've got wine. And so this is a very, very long hangout session. Not a ton of new information here. Just more talk about like

1:22:39saving Angela over her lying, telling the truth now. Why do you like Barrett more than me? Why do you like Yash more than me? Drinking wine, a little bit of cuddles, a little bit of longing glances, all kinds of stuff like that. A little bit of, hey, don't worry, I'm not putting you on the block. So just a lot of that. Just a lot of that. There's, you know, they're like falling asleep together, basically on the couch. She carries her to the bed. Then she eventually gets up and all kinds of nonsense going on here. So that's basically the day. Today, of course, we have a lot more time for D and Angela to push the Melody agenda for, you know, I would hope Devons to be like, never mind, don't put me up because I really, I actually think that Devons saying don't do it

1:23:39would give Drew the excuse he needs to do something he would prefer to do, which is D or Barrett or I doubt again, I doubt Melody, but never rule it out. I think, I think Devons' life in this game depends on just telling Drew, don't put me up. And at this point, it might be too late because he might have been, he might be too pot committed, but like, it's really like, it's that simple. It's almost the same as Barrett not pressing that button on the HOH. It's just like, there's literally a button in front of Devons and it's just like, just press that button to save yourself. Really, I mean, the more accurate representation is like, don't press the button. Pressing the button makes you go home and he's already pressed it. It's like, well, don't stop pressing it. Stop pressing the button. It's like, sorry, what? I just keep pressing the button. You're saying not to press the button. I'm still pressing the button. Should I not be doing this?

1:24:44You could stop pressing the button at any time and you might be saved. I like pressing the button now. It feels good. So we'll see. We'll see what happens there. We've got an interesting week on our hands because of all of the dilemma that has been shoved onto Drew. What is the right move for him? There's not really a good one. But there are some maybe some things to parse out. It should make first some fun podcasting. Wild decision by Devons to volunteer. We got a revolution vote flip on in the works. And all of it could be null and void if, say, Devons just wins the blockbuster. But we've got, I think, again, an interesting week on our hands. The game has opened up with Hayley's elimination.
