Music Every morning, tearing Armstrong's heart, Big Brother looking at the stuff from yesterday All the drama, all the strategy and silliness from Theo to Hoh H Every single season, you know he is the reason, you know what's happening Rob said that he could do it tomorrow, he will do it again Hello everyone and good morning Welcome to our live feed update for August 28th I'm your host, I'm Armstrong and I'm here to update you on everything that happened yesterday on the Big Brother 28 live feeds
Now there weren't a lot of live feeds going on at nights but there was some drama, so there's plenty to talk about there It was day 52 in the house and there was a lead up to a blind side that of course did not happen But that drama again, it's still persisted into the night and we got some feeds before they eventually closed for whatever is to come in the year 1000 or whatever So plenty to talk about there and with me today, I have someone to talk about it with It's Pooja, how you doing Pooja? Give it up for Pooja I am so hungover Hello everybody Happy to be here Yes, Pooja, how has your journey been here in Milwaukee? What have you thought of these feeds? The journey's been okay, very different questions Journey, phenomenal, 10 out of 10 flight easy people amazing vibes immaculate
Yes Now the feeds, the highlight may have been this update, yesterday's update, the recaps Because let me tell you, we got a little bit, Terran, but as we say every Friday it feels like now, what make me a lot of it? We will indeed make a me a lot of it, of course You all knew D was the H-08, Drew Mallory and Taylor were on the block And as I discussed yesterday, Barrett went wild Barrett said, I'm now choosing violence against the Vets Yup, and against Drew And he orchestrated a without a vioche and I do want to give a large credit to Yash here as well Because I don't think this is happening without Yash's outreach to Barrett And the suggestion to do this in the first place, but two of them together helped orchestrate this flip against the Vets and against Drew And they flipped Mallory and Mallory Barrett exposed not the crossover name as much as just the fact that he and Drew had been working with them this whole time
And so the question on my mind through the day was, will this whole melody and Mallory didn't want to get rid of Drew? And quite frankly, it's not even necessarily better for them to evict Drew over Taylor At least there's an argument to be made that Drew could be more valuable to their game That he might be willing to flip on the Vets It was only just a couple of days ago that he had that mindset So, will they talk to Drew? Was the question, will they just be like, hey, what are you thinking? Like, will you vote to keep Mallory? Will you be with us against the Vets? Because if not, we're going to vote you out, bro And I can tell you that didn't happen, but we were certainly on the look out for it And so we started the day with Taylor talking to Lala Taylor, of course, is informed that this is the plan Drew is going to be going and this is all great for Taylor because Taylor is now the safest person on the block And so her priority here is I don't want anything to get messed up
And by, I don't want anything to get messed up, what I mean and what she means is I don't want Lala to mess this up She says Lala, stick to the plan Okay, stick to the plan Lala, just don't engage in any of it Lala is a book, we have numbers, right? She's like, hey, what do I say? Don't engage! Stop it! Don't talk! Just, you know, And Lala goes, don't ask any questions, just don't do anything Stay low-key, don't say anything, just keep me, keep Mallory, that's it Small ask, from Lala especially Yeah, I mean, it's a very weird spot to be in when you're on the block like that Like, you're like, this is a jangob tower, don't touch it Easy, I'll touch it, you don't touch it You don't need to touch it, but sometimes, you know, your Lala is going to do right by you So you've got to just remind them, the right by me is to do nothing by me, please
Yeah, so Mallory fruitlessly campaigns to Devons, of course, this is not going to go anywhere But Drew talks to Devons afterwards, he says that he really does not want to vote out Mallory But he's willing to do what the Vets want him to, just tell him how to vote And he'll do it, he's trying to like, broach the topic in my opinion to get permission To vote to keep Mallory because he's gotten the vibe that Melody's pretty pissed off And he wants to be able to at least throw her a bone, he knows Mallory doesn't have the votes But he also wants to continue to prove his loyalty to the Vets, he's a good boy Devons says, we need to rip off the bandaid, it'll only get harder to evict Mallory the longer we go on So we need to do it now Drew then goes and talks to Barrett and he goes, you know what Barrett, thanks for having my back Barrett says, of course dude, you and me to the end man, yeah Yikes
Woo, dip to do, dip to do Drew talks to Mallory in the storage room, he says he's gonna pick her up if she wins the blockbuster He's doing his Drew thing, and after he leaves, Mallory joins and Mallory's like, it does make me sad I don't want him to go, and Mallory says I don't want him to go either, like I'm gonna cry myself to sleep every night for a week But also, I gave him a million opportunities to tell me something, to tell me anything, and the fact that he won't means he never will Like, fuck you, like you're hurting my game and you're voting my friend out Mallory says, yeah, yeah, it makes me sad, but the icons they need to be weakened And if him going on the block isn't enough to flip him against them, then nothing's going to be And so, they lock in, she does want to know though if Drew is willing to keep her if Hayley is on board
Because again, Barrett is kind of under the assumption that Yash might actually keep Mallory over Taylor It's not happening, it's not important, it doesn't go anywhere But Barrett joins them, they agree they're gonna vote Drew out And Mallory says it breaks her heart, but she's gotta do it And so, they talk about Hayley's vote again And they talk about how to flip Hayley Because Barrett says we could drop the alliance name that the cool kids made with the icons Like, it's further proof that the icons were never really working with her I know what it's called, what was it called? Red corner Stupid He's like, yeah, it was like a fighting thing It's like, the commu name it? Probably He says, I have another one too, this one's really bad Do you use the bribe on Yash to keep her safe on her next HOH? On his next HOH? Oh, that's not good Don't like that, yeah
Yes, so lots of information leakage here, Pooja And lots of information being dumped now, here's the key though Melody left the room before he told Mallory this And as we know, spoilers Mallory's gone now I don't know if Mallory passed this information to Barrett I don't know if Barrett intends to tell Melody Sorry, Mallory passed this information to Melody before she left I don't know if Barrett intends to tell Melody about things like the red corner But we do know that this is like an intended sequence That Barrett will try to pull Hayley off of the icons by revealing to her things like Hey, I knew about red corner like day three You were never with them, they have always been using you And there's a chance it works, right? Like Hayley has been a little concerned and she does talk to Drew today on this day About how she hasn't forgotten about her HOH trend She was talking to Mallory about how the icons have burned her before
And then she uses those words when she talks to Drew I do think that Hayley is somebody that like obviously has been pulled in by the icons But there's a lot of information to dump and there's some wiggle room there potentially here for ya Yeah, there's a lot there, there's a lot to be stacked against them It all comes down to one thing or one thing only is can the other side get the power so that the people in this situation decide Let me loosen the purstries a little bit, give some information out there to keep myself safe Because they all have a lot of evidence against them against the icons that can be used They just have to find the time to do it and also they not need to not be gifted safety by the icons I think that's the problem Yeah, yeah that would help Taylor and Mallory have a couple of conversations about blockbuster strategy And one of them, this is one Taylor proposes, she says, listen Since Drew has been talking about potentially throwing this to Mallory, which he wants to do He's thought about doing because in his mind he's locked safe
And if he throws it to Mallory, then Mallory is also safe And that means Taylor goes and he's able to keep Mallory and eat his daddy Devons cake At the same time No comment So Taylor says, listen, what if I tell Drew That I plan to throw the blockbuster That will let Drew feel comfortable also throwing the blockbuster Because he won't be worried that I'll win and then maybe he'll throw it to you And then we vote as As-out Doesn't end up happening, but you know I would have liked that Barrett talks to the camera, he says, the plan is to take out Drew and isolate the rest of the crossovers He says, I think people at home are probably like, why are you turning on the crossovers? That's not a good read Barrett He says, I just want to shake things up I love the icons a lot, but they've had it so fucking easy in this game
And I just don't want to be the guy that stuck with the icons the whole time You are, but you can change We will listen, don't shade it, is he like that? Feeds go down, of course, as they do on Thursdays When they come back up, Yash is talking about how Drew apparently was like, I don't need your vote anyway To Yash That guy feels so comfortable I can't wait until we vote him out Malorie asks Drew if, sorry, Melody asks Drew if he thinks Malorie has a chance of staying He says, no, but she can win, right? Please don't tell her that I said that though And they share some long hugs It's again, it's like such a weird and kind of like bittersweet kind of thing Where he's guilty about voting out her friend and she's guilty about voting out him Malorie tells Taylor, she's got a plan for the blockbuster
If it's some kind of quiz, like spot the difference, how many differences are there They should try to coordinate their numbers So that if Malorie chooses six, Taylor should choose like seven Just to try to stack it and make sure that they don't Alright, alright Great, thanks everybody They should choose different answers And here's the kicker on this one This actually was a great strategy specifically for this blockbuster too If Malorie and Taylor had done this strategy and coordinated And gone because this was the not spot the difference but like which panel of screens was the correct one If they had quickly eliminated one of them and then conferred with one another and said Let's run to the buzzers and hit the two that we know it's at least one of them They would have been able to lock you out of winning this competition
Unfortunately for whatever reason they just did not think of doing that strategy in the moment And we got something else So Malorie tells Barrett, if I leave, you've got to stick with Malorie And Puyai, he says, I have no intention of returning to the icons Don't look at me like a, do you agree with that kind of face? Again, we have seen Barrett get putty at the hands of deep Plenty, so it could happen But I think there's a lot of energy there that I feel like he doesn't want that to be the case But it kind of sucks down on what to river back to what I said about Haley If that side wins power, I could see Barrett being like, we cool, you up, give me hang out It could happen, but I don't think so, I think I think we're, I think he's veering away Yeah, I mean I do, I do think it comes down to who wins Of course there is no winner next week
Just losers Which by the way, like on one hand we've talked about the fact that obviously if you did not watch last night's episode We were told that there are no feats until Sunday But we're still here and we'll still chat And that they have some kind of big twist, no HOH, no nominations, no veto, no nothing And so on one hand that frees Yash from his contracts for a week, for that week, for whatever this is He theoretically target them if that's available But also it's one less week that he can burn in HOH Right, so now the next time he can win HOH is the following elimination And then he has to wait another two weeks before he can win HOH again and target the icons So if he's not able to take an icon out in whatever this twist is, this could end up being worse I have a question, Taren, I don't know if this has come up yet, so apologies if it has If D was to, let's say leave on Sunday, whatever this is
Is D's departure, does that nullify Yash putting up the other two icons? That's what I'm saying, I think it should I think it's a real, you break the curse Yeah, the contract's gone if the person that was, yeah Maybe they need to perform a rock ceremony of some sort, but like... Those don't go well typically Yeah, I think that if she leaves, that should nullify the deal for the other two Because it's her deal, she's no longer there, it's gone I agree, yeah, I think so Well speaking of D, she spent the morning trying to put some fear into Drew Not because she was fearful for Drew, she thought she did have the votes But she didn't want Drew thinking he had the votes Because she didn't want Drew throwing the blockbuster to Mallory And so she was trying to convince Drew like, hey, you never know what might happen You better not throw the blockbuster And she starts wondering out loud to Devon's like, okay, let's say an enemy of ours wins HOH next week
What do you think about me just exposing the Yash pride? You know, like, hey, Yash can't put any of us up Devon's like, I don't get how that helps us It's bragging She's like, we'll talk about it later They also talk about going after Yash soon Devon's in particular, he's like, listen, I know Yash can't come after us But he's still dangerous to us in this house, he could still win a veto when we go after him It still might take a while to actually take him out So let's make sure we're focused on him moving forward Not good for Yash No, but it's not been good anyway, so what's a little more bad? I guess so So we get to the eviction, of course, we all watched this last night Drew, he did say by the way that he, when looking at the clues, he was able to quickly eliminate one of the screens And then he just guessed between the other two 50-50 You could say he flipped a coin
But he has a never-knock pass, y'all, it's fine It's okay Better lucky than good So the feeds did come back, as I said Most of it was just kind of drama, specifically between Drew and Melody Melody is just really upset with Drew Drew during the eviction, he cast his vote to evict Mallory And when he did, there was an audible... ...hah ...in the audience And he heard it And when they opened that door, he saw all the alumni People, he grew up watching, idolizing And he is really shaken by this He is like, they hate me, they think I'm a loser That's what Rob would say, probably Yeah
They think he's such a jerk, so he's like really upset by this And Melody's really upset by this I can't believe that you couldn't even cast a vote Even if you didn't have the votes Even if it didn't matter in any other way You still decided to get into that room and cast your vote against Mallory My best friend in this house And on top of all of it, you've been lying to me this whole game And I know you have, I can't believe how easy it has been for you It's a lie to my face, this entire game You are literally the closest person to me In this entire house, and you've been lying to me the entire time It's a game, but you know, more than that And I think you can understand this from Melody's point of view Because like, there's a lot going on there There's a bit of a flirt, man There's a bit of a like, there's game, there's friendship And then there's flirting, there's the hugging, there's the caressing And things are complicated for her
She, you know, kind of had a situation coming in And so the idea that like, this is a difficult thing for her to manage On a personal level with Drew, does she like him, how much does she like him, what is she doing with all of it And then on top of it to learn that he has been just lying to her the whole time And playing her, it's really getting to her Yeah, and then you might be thinking, well, how is Drew going to respond to these things? Terran's going to get to the words, but I needed to bring this one thing up Drew take, you know, he is a fan of the show, we know he's watched hundreds of hours of RHAP Everyone but a mom knew that anyway But Drew took a page out of the Keanu playbook last night Not once, but at least twice, Drew became the where's my hug guy And let me tell you, Melody said declined No, no hug for you Yeah, she says, listen, you sat there and you played my face like it was fun for you
And then Lala comes in and interrupts her luck But after she leaves, he does, he says, can I hug you? You can say no I thought I was going to be doing the troupe spot in the Syrian accent I didn't realize I'd be the Melody No, get away from me, don't touch me Listen, she didn't have the votes to stay, you know? Melody's like, who cares? Who cares? I trusted you fully as a friend and an ally People have been telling me not to trust you this whole game and I should have listened to them A few minutes later, she leaves, she goes to the storage room She's upset in the storage room And he comes in, who are you, can you step forward for a moment? Jacob Jones, eat your heart out He does this Don't touch me, literally, he said don't touch me Sorry
She says, I just want to know why even now you can't tell me that you've been lying to my face the entire game He says, I did, I did lie Why? Why did you do that? And then you just want to sit there and bullshit me about how, oh, I want to take you to the final two or whatever Like, oh, let's go to the end I do still want to take you I mean, you can believe, whether you believe me or not Just whatever You voted out my best friend, you were going to weeks ago too And you never told me, what kind of ally are you? He has no answer to that He leaves He goes to D, he says, she's pissed I shouldn't have voted Malaria, that was not good He says, you know, the parents playing dumb, like he didn't know this was going to happen Like, I don't want to, I don't want to like sell him out But like, I'm taking all the heat for this
Now remember, Drew has no idea that Barrett has sold him out Right? He thinks that Barrett agreed to this just as much as he did And that Barrett is essentially taking the selfish route of being like, I get to vote this way I get to look good to Malady and Malary And Drew is the evil villain who voted with the vets And so he's like, this feels kind of lame But I'm not going to rat him out But like, come on Barrett Like, help a brother out here Yeah, it's like if they were playing hide and seek Drew's annoyed that he can't be like, Barrett, they got both of us Come on man, they got both of us Let's come out of our hiding spots He just doesn't want to do this alone and I kind of do like that he has to deal with being on an island a little bit Let him take the heat, even though, you know, Barrett's already been making moves against it Yeah So he talks to Devons and this is when he talks about the vets or the alumni in the audience who were upset with them He said that they were all like, asshole Drew, he feels so bad And Devon says, listen, that's the reason she needed to go
She was only going to get more popular and it was only going to be harder Right? So, Yash talks to Taylor And obviously things went decently for them they weren't able to get Drew out but Taylor stayed which is great Yash says, look, I tried to tell them last week They didn't listen Now look But now Barrett and Melody know So at least there's that And Taylor says, hey, maybe we can get Drew to see the light too Maybe he can redeem himself You know, if he wins an HOH or something You gotta try You're dumb not to try but also it is Drew And Taren, who is Devons to Drew? Daddy Devons There you go, there you go He wants the dub Do you need to add more stuff to that? You're lucky I didn't add the grunting
You know, depending on who you ask I was lucky Melody talks to Barrett in what is probably the most tragically comedic scene of the night She tells Barrett that Drew kept saying that he would have kept Mallory if they had the numbers But she knows he's lying I actually don't know that that's true I think there's actually a chance he would have kept Mallory if they had the numbers They just, they didn't I saw that there was this claim that if the votes were going to be close Sorry, if Drew knew that the numbers were fine They would get what they wanted anyway He would have voted to keep Mallory for his own game Right, so there's two things They definitely didn't have the votes And Drew could have voted to keep Mallory without even making it a tie He still chose not to Which is kind of telling to where his loyalty seemed to lay However, if they did actually have Yash and Haley on board And they had four and they needed a fifth I do think there's a world where Drew is their fifth
I don't know that he would have chosen to side with the icons over Barrett and Mallory and Mallory and all of them In this particular vote, but listen, we're never going to know And as far as Mallory is concerned She knows She knows he would not have chosen to keep Mallory And Barrett agrees, he says, yeah, he's trying to save his own ass And she says, oh my god, I'm just, I don't get embarrassed and this is the most embarrassed I've been in my entire life I'm not going to be able to watch the show back And they're in the storage room And so she takes a banana She starts eating it Barrett says, I don't think you're stupid And she's like, I feel so stupid It's like it's okay, and he leaves
And she's just standing there crying Picks another bite And I didn't know how funny it was to watch people cry while they eat a banana Who among us has him So she goes upstairs and she calls her mom on the phone as she does And she says, listen, mom I don't really know who's in my body right now, but it's not me I don't think I've ever felt this stupid in my entire life You've probably been screaming at the television about this all season long I don't know how to do this, I don't know how to handle this It's very sad But this is where Melody is in the game right now She's very upset at Drew And where does that leave her? She still can't work with the icons She still barely has a relationship with Yosh and Taylor and Lava
They have a working relationship right now But Barrett was always closer to Mallory So it's like, do you target Drew? You kind of can't, like what that would be a waste So you kind of have to work with him in some capacity but she's so disgusted by him And the relationship that they have and he clearly has one expectation of what that relationship is And I think that at one point she had the same expectation but now she's feeling like she doesn't want it to go in that direction What does she do about this? It's a rough spot for Melody And we won't know how this resolves itself for a little while now There's going to be a twist coming and then in HOH And so we'll see how things end up for it but it's not fun It's not, however I think that Melody should absolutely milk the guilt Just milk the guilt Make Drew feel horrible about this
Because I agree with you, she should not go after him right now The icons still need to be dealt with But keep him at a distance He seems like he really wants that hug You got to get back to the hug You're not going to work your way back up Listen, she should be able to win this battle You know Your girlfriend, your friends That usually are able to beat your dad By the time you're a teenager, by the time you're in your 20s So I think she can work on Now that she knows the information, now that she knows for sure he's been working with these people She can get insider information from Barrett I really think that they can really work on Drew here And I think it's probably necessary depending on what happens with this twist But the last real thing we get to here before the night ends is the Drew talks to Barrett He says, listen Barrett, are you going to tell Melody that you knew Because she's really mad at me And Barrett's like, oh yeah, don't worry about it I'll smooth it over for you
Yeah, that's not going to happen Drew says Barrett, I'm starting to feel like Kelly in this game They're just putting me up and taking out all my people It's like, yeah, you don't want to be Kelly I think you're better than Kelly I don't know about that I don't know about that The time machine table, the table time machine, the time machine, the table time machine It says standby, uh-oh, what's happening They all gather around the time machine table And they look up And it's quiet And then the feed's cut And that is what we have until Sunday nights Yep We'll see what happens with Melody, with Drew, with Barrett, with the Vets, with the icons, with Yash There's a lot left on the table here There's going to be no H&H, I imagine
We've speculated that it might be some kind of hamster-real-e situation And so what comes of that We'll have to find out, Pooja Yeah, we got a long way, you get a long break until Sunday night For your own personal Yeah We're assuming someone's got to leave We're assuming someone's going to be gone by Sunday night What is the best case scenario And what is the worst case scenario Okay, let's assume it's like a hamster-real right Let's assume it's just like somebody gets eliminated via competition Personally, I want the icons to not be eliminated via this mechanism I want the icons to be nominated, I want them to sit on the block I want them to face the consequences of their actions I want them to not come out of the house being like Whoops, I lost a hamster-real Otherwise, I would have been great I want the regular game to play out So if I'm like, who can I lose That I'm like, it's fine
We already, we already, we already kind of saw this play out Are you guys with me out there? Are you thinking of the same person? Definitely Hailey, yes, Hailey, I think is the best case situation He, Z Worst case scenario I think Taylor I think Taylor, Taylor out here would be really rough Taylor surviving this week and getting to those places where they are in a potential 5-5 split down the middle To leave before she even gets to be part of the war would be devastating Personally, I would hate that Also, but like, if it's a competition Yeah, it's fine I mean, we'll see, right? But like, Yash leaving would be frustrating But he's also, he's like, bound by this bribe So it's like, I don't even know If he's gonna be able to bring much Like, I don't, we don't even know at this point But Taylor would be a big loss Considering how well she has managed to maneuver In a game that like, there are a lot of people in this house have been pretty against her for a while
She's now survived a vote twice Despite everyone being like, wow, she's gonna win the game So that feels like the kind of situation that would be pretty frustrating But we'll see Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm just doing the Yash math in my head of if we go down to 9, he's still there He wins HOH, he's the HOH, there's 8 people, he can't nominate 3 of them, there's 5 people he can nominate Yeah, Yikes I mean, lucky for him, he's still got Drew he can nominate But there's not many more Like, you know, let's say it is somebody like Haley or Drew that leaves And he's only got Drew and or Haley And then someone wins the veto Barrett, right? Yeah And La la melody I don't know, he doesn't rock with La la, he says it all the time Dup-dap-y-as-la la It's rough stuff, but that is the day today Today, we are going to take some questions, this was the live feed update specific portion But we are live here in Milwaukee
Thank you all for being here by the way Thank you It is so much fun to be able to do this in front of a live crowd I know that this isn't quite the update we would have wanted, we would have been able to talk about HOH nominations That would have been very fun But we are going to have a good time here So we are going to take some questions, we are going to maybe pull up some other podcasters We want to come up and chat about the twist, about the day yesterday And have a little party But I wanted to make sure we had like a normal proper utilitarian live feed update for all the listeners at home Who can also enjoy the rest of this experience as well if you are interested Yeah But thank you, thank you again for being here It has been such an honor and privilege and just an amazing experience to be able to do these live Yesterday was so much fun and I really appreciated the response of all of you So thank you so so much, it has been amazing Thank you
Alright, so we have got a mic here if anyone wants to come up and ask a question I just want to walk up, create a line And if we want to grab a Maggie will come up and chat with us as well Let's grab a mic for Maggie Maggie, what were your thoughts on yesterday? Well I have been kind of thinking through scenarios all night I couldn't possibly if I was to ampt up So I was thinking through sort of like hamster-real-e style scenarios I think sort of the idea since it's structured medieval-ish Is that they might be like duels or like pair of... sorry I'm moving over It might be more like paired battles And then whoever wins gets to pick the next pair so instead of like a knockout, it's like a safety chain idea And I think the best case scenario would be even if the first person who wins Is an icon or someone from that side pretty early on they like pick Barrett
And then Barrett goes rogue and you know like starts to pick someone like Yash or Melody etc I also think that if it is a safety chain style thing I think the way that Drew feels right now is so in the doghouse with Melody Who he genuinely really cares about that he would prioritize her over even like Devins He would lower in her Yes I genuinely think so I think that's how I can see it So I'm just interested like I think how thrilling would it be if like say the competition starts with someone like Drew winning And Drew goes to someone like Barrett or Melody who then go to Yash and then take... There are some leaks with chains Exactly so it's like kind of like the FAFO for the icons The FAPFO Exactly, FAPFO You said leaks in my ears perto, do you know something we don't? But no, that's not the case
Just like my truly my Jose scenario is moment that probably once we find out the mechanism of the twist will be completely useless But that's where my mind was going last night for fun I like your silver lining scenario Thank you Just a thought All right let's say a question Hello, what is your name? How's it going? What is your question Mike? So my question is looking past the... Are you a little closer? My question is going a little bit past the twist Julie mentioned that there sound like she said the next live eviction on Thursday So I think we're expecting that we're going to have a whole weeks worth crammed into like three or four days Is that why are you not even thinking that far ahead? I would assume so like if it's similar to the what happened last time right because it like Basically Rachel was gone very quickly with the hamster wheel And then they just got going with a normal week So I would assume that's probably what we're going to do this time around as well
Is a normal eviction scheduled and that eviction will be the first eviction for jury So I think that's what we got here All right thank you so much for your question Any other podcasters want to come up and say hi Here's Kirsten I felt you're pressured Maggie was gesturing to me What are your thoughts Kirsten? What were you thinking watching some of those feeds yesterday? It's just so crazy Like because first of all, I'm just like oh there's no feeds Oh feeds are up That was very surprising What are we doing? Like can we please I'm glad we got it because there was some serious fallout That I was really happy that we got to see It would be worse if we didn't get it But yeah I'm just sitting here hoping praying wishing I again pocket Jesus not with me at the venue but with me in my heart and my backpack at the hotel like Thog, thog, thog, thog, thog Please let it be her We'll see, we'll see Do you have another question from the audience here?
Here let me uh The other one I think the mic is fine I think we're the standard You're working? Yeah So my question was I know Drew doesn't normally play optimally but if he were to What could he do this week to get back in the good graces of like Really the icons but also like melody and barit What could he do that's best for his game this week? Best for his game is an interesting question I think that like winning in HOH keeping them safe would be huge But specifically targeting the icons would be ideal Or for winning over barit and melody Is that best for his game is a slightly different question Because you know Yash and Taylor and Lala are not the biggest Drew fans And so you know like winning And so you know like where does that leave him? I mean there's a world where it's him barit and melody versus Yash
Taylor and Lala and that's not a bad world to live in So there's certainly an argument for it But I think that they're not going to trust him until he can show them In action that he's actually done something And that could have been uh just a vote Uh you know just a vote tonight or last night That was to keep Mallory even though it didn't matter a symbolic vote But he couldn't even do that And so he's really going to have to prove to them I think That he's with them Yeah it was actually interesting the word coward It's been thrown out a lot this week It was a cowardly of him to not vote yesterday So we used to be voted Yeah I think keeping the facade definitely would help But I think the other thing And I think everyone can agree with this Just shut up, like keep some things for yourself Like truly don't tell everyone everything Just some of it for you, some for them Look for me little for you Well let's be real, that's how he's going to try to make it up He's going to rat out some of the icons But it's too late because all the people have used that currency He's not allowed left for you And the problem with Drew is like he sounds like he's lying When he tells the truth
Like if he could do the like talk less, smile more Like Aaron Burhamilton thing Like it would actually do a lot for him Eyes open, mouth shut There we go Thank you so much We have another question here Hello Hi What's your name? My name's Abby Hello, how are you doing Abby? I'd be doing better if we had feeds Yeah, I see the jet lag had on Yes, yes You like in the new season? Ah yes, first episode of jet lag Out on my Patreon if you want to watch my reaction to it Very good They almost killed Tom Scott What's your question Abby? Actually I think that Melody was on my briefly That Melody was in the storage room reading the rule book And I know that Taylor did that before she hid Drew's hairbrush So I was wondering what we think Melody might have been reading the rule book for I'm honestly not sure I think like unfortunately with her mindset It probably was not something fun
But but you never know Right? Like they did talk about how Drew without his hairbrush is like a little cracked So you know maybe If they like get a hairbrush shipped in, they can set Drew straight. I don't know. Do we think we're ever getting the hairbrush segment on the episode? Because I really thought we were getting that Wednesday. I do think it's possible, but they still have so much to, they have such a backlog with all of the extra content they've thrown in. But given that Taylor is still there and Drew is still there, they can always err at kind of like whenever they want. So I don't know. What do you guys think? Oh yeah, Mike's here. What gave it away? Puyah just transformed into Mike Bloom. The ultimate downgrade. I'll fill my best James Hewling just popping up out of nowhere. What do you guys think about the rulebook? Do you have any any theories? I find it so interesting because of course I've seen the Big Brother Canada rulebook
before and it's really quite bare bones. It's basically just like don't be an asshole. It's like the way that it all kind of boils down. But it seems like the US rulebook is like, no, these are the terms and conditions. This is what you can and can't do. I'm like, is Melody looking to see if Drew's allowed to lie to her or is it like an actual serious thing? I mean, what is interesting if we're talking about possible structure and personal property is that, quite a bit if I'm wrong, and the other nominees suitcases were in that storage room for quite some time. Were they not? There's time where Drew like briefly blipped in, moment of awkwardness that he took it out. Like, if you have your petty betty, there's a second where you could be like, let me just like rifle through, you know, all of your personal belongings and make sure that you are not putting back 100% of the things that you left with. Is theft okay? That's exactly, you know? Yeah, maybe it was a malicious eating of a banana as she plotted. Who knows? Oh my God. Fun fact, I've been going through some of the Big Brother 2 archives for my, the project I'm doing on Patreon in the off season.
And there was a lot of talk this season about the rule book when it comes to telling a nominee that they are going on the block. And so what actually happened in the first week of Big Brother 2 is that Mike Boogie had will tell Cheryl that she was going on the block because it was against the rules for Boogie to tell her himself. And as per the rule book, as per them, that at that time in Big Brother 2, if Mike Boogie had told Cheryl himself, he would have been put on the block instead of her. Which obviously makes no sense and would not have worked in any way. But I thought it was one fact. Anyway, thank you. And I ask a very quick follow-up question. Is it against the rules if Taylor gets evicted for her to take Drew's hairbrush with her? Oh, that is a good question. The only example I could possibly think of was, well, there's Pablo with Michelle. And there was also Victoria ripping up Zack's hat, but that wasn't Zack's hat, correct? You take in someone else's hat.
I think at the very least she can leave it hidden, right? I think that's fine. Just because, like, listen, that's what Kelly did with bugs. I mean, it's shades of survivor redemption island when Julie Wolff took Philip's pink underwear and buried it on the island. Like, I think there's some gray area there. I don't think we needed to be reminded of that. Thank you so much for the question. Thank you. I, while we're waiting for the next person, I will say I've got a little tea. Uh-oh. Oh boy. A little tea to spill. Breaking tea. Breaking tea. Are we happening now? So, Terran and I both had very productive conversations. Very productive, more like to talk with Mallory, tea party queen herself. She was in some pretty good spirits. If you're looking for some spice, you know, she's a lovely person, maybe not necessarily high on the schoolville scale. She didn't spill a lot of tea, but I've got a little bit that I can reveal at this moment. Uh, so I will be doing an ex-an interview with the next person booted.
I will not have to wait until Thursday to talk to them. I'll leave it at that. Okay. I think that's, I think that's what we've expected, but it's more so kind of confirming yes. Yes. I think Sunday's episode will be a must-see. Okay. More ways than what? All right. Good, good to know. Good to know. Uh, Mari's up here with us. Yes. I wanted to answer some questions. Okay. Let's answer some questions. Hey, how you doing? Hi, I'm Javon. Hello, Javon. What is your question? So, Drew's winning path is closing slowly. Do we get the mic a little closer? Sorry about that. How are you? Drew's winning path is closing slowly. Do we see any opportunity for him to wiggle on up? Ooh, it's- He was not good in that veto competition. Yeah, and everyone's- I don't know if he's going to wiggle very well. Okay. It's tough. I mean, listen, it's a little bit of a biased opinion. But when Mallory told me, I don't know if she told you, it was that she feels like Drew is the most unlikable person in the house right now. That's the sense we're getting. She feels like, you know, obviously the yosh Taylor Lala side,
not happy. Barrett's not happy. She didn't even need to watch the face to know that Melody is not happy. Unless we've still got a month in change like, but we only have a month in change left. And I think it's- It's getting to become the point of no return in terms of changing people's opinions, value, especially if we are segueing into a jury thing. But I feel like those opinions only fester over time. Yeah. So it- So he might be able to wiggle his way to the chairs, but the fact that he might not get the votes seems to be almost like locking down. I can- I can definitely see that. Yeah, he's talked all season about how he thinks he can beat the vets in the final two. And whether or not that was Drew before, I don't think it's true now. I think that Yash who knows that he's been a vet pet this whole time would vote for a vet over him. I think Taylor who said if they let the vets get to the end, I vote for him would be a vet vote. I think Lalo would be a vote for the vets. If he doesn't fix this relationship with- With Melody, I think Melody might be a vote for the vets. I think Hayley would be a vote for the vets.
I don't think he's winning against them. And I do think he'll need to take a shot at some point if he wants any chance of winning. And- And if his final two with Barrett is what he really wants to- There's no way he's winning against Barrett. Right, I think that he could have potentially prior to like the last couple days. But the fact that Barrett has now been activated against the vets, now I don't think he can. Would you say the juggler dropped the ball? I think he dropped all the balls. Well, thank you so much. Thank you so much for your question. Hello, what is your name? Hi, my name is Steph. Hello, Steph. How you doing? Good, how are you? Doing very well. We've got a lovely crowd. We've got some great podcasters and some wonderful questions. What is your question? So my question is looking past whatever is going to happen in medieval times. Who is the most likely primary target for each person? Not who should they target?
Like who's the most likely? And you can just kind of go rapid fire if you want. I think Drew wants Yash. Well, he's can't target the best. I was going to say there's want and there's can. Yash would be Drew because he can't do anyone else. Yeah, I think Barrett would be. That's the question is like, is this is he going to stick with this decision? Or was this a content like actually take the first shot across the ball? And yeah, like I don't think he's throwing another competition after this. I'll give you that. He's talked about how much he wishes. Yash would win for him. Oh God, I'm scared. Which obviously would not work very well. And does he go D or is there something still emotional holding him back like that? He would go maybe devins. I mean, I think it honestly, I think he would probably if he went against the Vets, I think you would do like all three. All three. And then who do they decide? I think Devons ends up the target. I do. I think Devons is the more day because Yash too. Yash thinks that Devons is the one controlling D. And so I think Yash points to Devons.
I think they're worried about Devons being a comp throughout. He had the time in power videos. So I think Devons ends up being the target. I think the icons will likely be targeting Yash next. Yeah. Maybe Taylor or Lala, but I think Yash is probably the next target. And then I think Melody. Melody. Melody would also be looking at the Vets. I think Devons are D. The Vets is kind of open season. I think we're basically looking like a perspective 5v5 with a bear in the middle. Essentially. Yes, for sure. For sure. But would the Vets really target Yash before him becoming a chugat? The way that Devons was talking to D about it was like I think we need to start moving in that direction. And this is exactly how he started the conversation with Mallory. Mallory. And Mallory eviction as well. So I think that that he will keep pushing on this. And it does make sense because the longer you wait in the game, the less valuable that him can't come after you is because you could just win and then keep winning.
And that could be very bad for you. Thank you so much for your question. Real quick. I have to go head off. I'm probably we do a twin twist and I switch off to Pooeya. But I'd be remiss, Terran. You know, obviously this is a big look back at Big Brother as a whole. But I want to express on behalf of myself. And I think hundreds of people and hopefully thousands of people watching. How pivotal you have been to our experience in our enjoyment of the show for a decade. I just want to. I don't think any of us at RHAP feel like this is necessary viewing for the Big Brother experience. But like as an extracurricular, you have enriched so much of my enjoyment and understanding especially of what makes these people tick. I think you are incredibly analytic and empathetic at the same time. I think you are a one in 750,000 person. And I'm so happy that you have had the opportunity to be for someone who has stood in front of a screen for days upon days and years upon years. The opportunity to stand in front of a group of people and look in these cameras and see
people who are here for you listening to you deserve every morsel of support that you get. Now, please me. Glaze me. Go back here. Thank you so much. Thank you so much, Mike. And you know, it was really fun yesterday to be up here in front of the crowd. It's been so fun today. But it's even more fun that I get to share this stage with all of my friends here and with the fans, the questions. It's been really cool to be able to share that experience as well. It really like, none of this would mean anything if it weren't for all of the people that were watching and enjoying and relating to what we're doing and listening to the stories. I'd be spouting off on my own like I used to before. But any of this happened. So thank you. Thank you all really genuinely. It means so, so much to me.
Now let's get another question. Hi. Hello. What is your name? Anisa. Anisa, how are you doing? I'm a little star-struck by all of you. Oh. It's just the lights. They're very bright. That's true. What is your question? So my question is, when Julie said that there wouldn't be H-O-H. Yeah. I know that most people thought, hamster wheel of death, my mind went to something completely different because the season has been kind of survivor-coded. What if they're just going to do a tribal and everybody votes for whoever they want? And in that situation, who do you think would get eliminated and can Yash vote? That is a great question. That is a great question. I had a similar thought because there was speculation that they could do a survivor twist. I was like, why would they do a twist about another show on their thousandth episode? But then they were so happy to be like, no live feeds, no H-O-H, no nominations. Like, they hate all of their show, I guess.
So great question. If this were just a vote, I think number one, Yash should absolutely be able to vote the vets out. Not the H-O-H, there is no H-O-H. Number two, how would this work? Well, we just discussed. It's kind of a split house, right? It's Barrett and Yash and Taylor and Lala and Melody and it's Haley and Devons and D and Angela and Drew. And so where does that vote go? I think the vets probably try to vote out Yash or Taylor. And I think that Yash and Taylor and Barrett probably try to vote out somebody like Devons and they need to flip Drew to get six or the icons need to flip Barrett back to get their six. And so it actually is kind of timed perfectly for something like that. So I don't know. It would be better than the hamster wheel because everyone hated that. Certainly. I would say anything is better than the hamster wheel.
Yeah, the only thing that gives me pause to that is that why do we need four alumni there to watch people do a vote? Yeah. I don't think they're going to be there for that. That's why I'm concerned. I think it's going to be some kind of competition based. But I do like that, especially if you could fool someone into being a rogue vote and then it's a five four one. That would be even better. Yeah, I don't think we should get our hopes up that it's not going to be a competition, like to be quite honest. But there's no way that we have jousting and royal court and all of this and it's not going to be some tournament style competition. I think. Tournament has been my theory for a while. Yes, it does. It makes sense for them. But I wonder if it's a tournament, if it's a tournament to crown a victor and then the victor makes a decision or a tournament to crown a loser and that person goes home. I would lean loser because winner is closer to HOH, what HOH would be.
But I think winner is better. Yeah. This is more like big brother, but who knows. If Sam is still around you, I just want to make sure how we're doing on time. Thank you. Okay, we got like 10 more minutes to take some questions. Thank you so much. My turn. Hello. How are you doing? What is your name? My name is Moz. Oh, yes, boss. But that's the, yeah, anyway. I really, I just, I was a bit disappointed this week that the episodes didn't necessarily showcase Taylor's treatment at the beginning of the week. And I was just curious like what your thoughts were on. If that's something that the show will eventually get back to like, you know, if it becomes necessary or if big brother is going to be brother and they'll just kind of like gloss over it. I think that if they can get away with it, they'd be happy to gloss over it. I think in particular this dynamic between Taylor and Haley and the conversation Taylor tried to have with her and the fact he's saying she's talking about in the diary room means
that if Taylor versus Haley ever becomes relevance like really relevant like Haley's in HOH, Taylor's in HOH, something along those lines, they probably at that point have to address it. I don't think it's their favorite topic in the world. And I think that they'd be very happy if like, you know, we're all complaining about a hamster wheel instead. Yeah, I feel like big brother has not really cared too much lately. Um, I mean, just based off of the invite list that we saw for who could have been there yesterday. Um, and some of the people that showed up, um, I mean, it's not to say that I feel like we need to have people be canceled forever and they should just, you know, never see the light of day. But I do think that it does stick in an awareness. Yeah, just throw them in a warehouse with no lights. Um, I do, but I do think that it there is, there, I feel like there's been like a bit of a shift in terms of like where the priorities lie and like how much storytelling big brother
wants to do about like said subjects. So yeah, I don't foresee them highlighting any of that unless they have to like turn it. Did you guys see the warehouse that they stuck all of those players in? That was wild. Could you believe if we put you guys in a warehouse? You all come out, you all flew out for this event. And we're like, thank you all so much for being here. Um, you 20 stay here. The rest of you down the street, we've got a big nice warehouse with some folding chairs. With fillers too. Like some of those people were not houses. Yeah. Who is that? We'll give you a voucher for like one bowl of slop. It'll be great experience. Yeah, yeah, exactly. One cardboard zing bot, four screens. It'll be a good time. Um, thank you for your question. He's gone. Uh, hello.
My question is you mentioned about the house being divided into two groups of five possibly from here on out. Yes. Who do you think from each of the groups is the lead favorite to get America's vote at the end of the season? And like what pathway would they have to get that vote? That's a great question. With Malrigan, obviously, you know, the, I think the most likely candidate for a house guest or favorite house guest is that isn't an icon is out of the window. I think right now Devon's an Angela are probably the top two. But if we're going to look at anybody else, I do think you guys tell me what you think. I think Yash is on the rise. I think Yash is the best contender for audience favorite outside of the icons. Yeah, it's hard to go against what we've already seen. We saw like as soon as Mallory and the icons were not available, Melody does win that next vote. So I do think that if she remains like an active screaming character on the show, there is a chance.
But I think that Yash and Taylor also have like their stars are rising much more. Yeah. I think just keep screaming girl. You going, you going to get that money girl? Keep screaming, keep screaming. For sure. I actually can't believe I was able to do that after these three days. All right, final question. Hello. Hey, what is your name? My name is Jordan. Hello, Jordan. How are you doing tonight tonight? I'm doing great. It's all the same. Uh, months asked the question. I was going to ask and did a great job. So I'm just going to finish up with some superlatives here. OK. So I really appreciate that like to rob and everyone who runs this like just that there's so many people who don't look like me or think along the same lines that I do whose voices I get to hear. So like thank you to everyone for, I don't know, this is just such a great community. Um, yeah. And then I'll just finish it off.
I used to listen to the live feeds to enrich my big brother watching experience. But now I watch, I only watch big brother to enrich my live feed listening experience. There's so much more than I got for you all. So thank you very much. Thank you so much. Yep. Those are very kind words. I appreciate that so much. Thank you all for asking such great questions. Um, can I, can I get all of the updaters in here in this room? Can I get you all on stage as we wrap this up? Come on, let's just say. If you want to, I just want to send us off and thank all of my, uh, my updating friends here. Here's Pooja in person in Scali and Mary. Here's Jacob Jones. Jenny has an update in a while, but it's all right. Uh, anyone else in here? I think that's, uh, I think that's all we've got right now. But these people, they do a lot of work to, they are, uh, they are essential, uh, to this, uh, this experience.
And I, I am so happy that I get to share it with them as well as with all of you. So I want to give a big thank you to all of my updaters here. Thank you so much. And that's our show. That's what we got. Thank you all so much for being here. This was so much fun to do live. It was great to be able to chat with you guys directly. Um, and, uh, you know, even when we don't have feeds, we can still have a good time, but they should give us some feeds. Thank you all so much.
