Barney Walsh Banned from Driving for 6 Months

0:00On April 8th, Barney Walsh, the 28-year-old Gladiator's host, just got hit with a six-month driving ban for speeding on the M4 motorway. He was clocked at 58 miles per hour in a temporary 50 miles per hour zone, back on October 27th last year, right at Junction, 19 westbound in South Gloucestershire, behind the wheel of his Black 2023 Mercedes SUV. Walsh shares the BBC hit show with his dad Bradley, who's 65, since its reboot earlier this year, and he's also popped up in shows like Death, in Paradise and Casualty. He skipped the hearing at Romford Magistrate's Court because of work pulling him out of the country, but his lawyer said he already had nine points on. His license, making the ban unavoidable after pleading guilty. On top of the ban, he owes a 72-pound fixed penalty, 28-pound surcharge, and 85 pounds in costs, all payable within, 28 days, and he's been told to stay off the roads starting last night.
