Badgers' Transfer Talent Aims for Turnaround

On March 24th, the Wisconsin Badgers football team heads into the 2026 season with a bunch

of new transfers on both sides of the ball.

After a rough four wins, eight losses record last year.

They brought in experienced starters at quarterback, running back, center, tight end, defensive

line, cornerback, and safety with Colton Joseph.

Leading the group back quarterback, and likely key to snapping a two-year bull drought.

That influx of talent puts the Badgers around the middle nationally in returning production

rankings, sitting 35th overall, 45th on, offense and 46th on defense, which lands them

10th in the 18 team Big Ten.

Luke Fickle and his staff now face the challenge of turning this transfer heavy roster into

wins, something that hasn't clicked over the past couple.

Seasons

The year kicks off of the big matchup against Notre Dame at Lambo Field on September

6th, followed by a row test at Penn State on September.

Setting the tone early for their turnaround hopes.
