Opened in 1982 as an all-vegetarian spot, it's now reopening as good Manners with meat dishes added to the menu. The change comes from brothers Andrew and nectar mollanos, who want to attract more customers while keeping plenty of veggie favorites like spinach pie, and vegetable lasagne. They'll offer lamb shanks and meat pies alongside vegetarian ones. Bade Manners was founded by Robert Ceebees, a chemical engineer who built much of the quirky interior himself from recycled cafe fixtures. It became known for its diverse vibe, eclectic music, and even inspired a spin-off gospel choir. The brothers have a strong track record running spots like Bar-Kaloozy and Pirate Cafe. They're honoring the past by restoring original booths, fireplaces, and tiles, sourcing new furniture to match the old look.
