Fans have thought for years that she got seriously hurt during the famous hoverboard chase scene said in 2015. In reality, it was her stunned double, Cheryl Wheeler, who took the fall and suffered major injuries. The scene shows Griffin his gang crashing 20 feet through the Hill Valley Clock Tower window. The stunt called for them to break through candy glass and land on padding. But things went off track when the four stunt performers drifted left at the last second.
