Bachelorette Contestants Consider Lawsuit Over ABC

Five contestants from Taylor Frankie Paul's season of the Bachelorette are thinking about suing ABC and its producers after their episodes got yanked from the air. The network pulled the whole season just days before its March 22nd premiere when a 2023 video surface showing the 31-year-old drawing a stool at her then boyfriend to Coda Mortensen while their young daughter was nearby crying. Paul had already pled guilty to aggravated assault from that incident and served time on probation but a new alleged fight in February led Mortensen to get a restraining order against her, calling her an immediate threat. The contestants claimed the show put them in an unsafe spot by filming with Paul of Close and they put their lives on hold, some even quit jobs for fame. That never came, leaving the network out about $28 million. Prosecutors are now checking if the fresh allegations break her probation terms while Paul's team says she endured years of abuse herself and is.
