Bachelorette Canceled, Contestants Get Paradise Chance

The show was supposed to star Taylor Frankie Paul and premiere on March 22nd, but recent domestic abuse allegations against her led to the decision. Earlier this week, production called an emergency zoom meeting with all 22 planned contestants. They treated it like a seminar to provide support after the sudden shutdown. Contestants got reminders about their one-year contracts, including rules against talking to the media. Multiple lawyers joined to answer questions, and an aftercare team was announced to help everyone move forward. Some good news came out of it, too. ABC revealed that several of these men could land spots on Bachelor in Paradise for a second chance at finding love. The full season remains on hold for now, but with Paradise Options open, these guys might still step into the spotlight soon.
