Avalanche Triumphs Over Blackhawks, 3-1

Kale McCarr led the way with two goals, while Gavin Brinley added the other score for Colorado. Nathan McKinnon and Martin Neckas each picked up to assist a few of the comeback. Gold Tinder, McKinsey Blackwood was solid, turning aside 14 shots in the win. Connor Badard netted the lone goal for Chicago on a first period power play, his 25th of the season. Spencer Knight kept his team in it, with 32 saves. The Avalanche trailed early but tied things up late in the second period, before grabbing the lead in the third. McCarr sealed it with an empty netter. This gives Colorado four wins in their last six games, improving their record to 39 wins, 10 losses and 9 overtime losses.
