They ran an audit after worries about books not matching age or content levels. Ecken's called the email notice devastating and gutting, since her book aims to spark real talks on gender, sexuality, sex, and consent stuff she wished. She'd had as a team. The school insists nothing's banned, they just sorted books into age groups and yanked to handful, deemed too mature, even for older kids. Ecken's chased her dream of writing this despite the setback, and she stands firm, education on these topics builds knowledge, which is straight up.
