The three-day trial included testimony from 10 witnesses, wrapping up with the verdict on Thursday. Judge Glenn Cash called the crime brazen, and a serious breach of responsibility during Friday sentencing. The child's parents delivered a joint statement in court, sharing their heartbreak over the shattered trust in what should have been a safe environment. They described deep trauma for their family after leaving their vulnerable child in Singh's hands. Singh had his visa canceled after charges in 2022, leading to deportation to Fiji in July 2025.
