Audi Crooks Drops 41 Points, Ties Big 12 Record

She shot 16 of 19 from the field, and went 9 for 9 at the free throw line, snapping a two-game losing streak. This marks the fifth time in her career. Crookes has scored 40 or more points, tying Brittany Griner's big 12 record. It's her fourth such game this season, including a career high 47 against Indiana, back on November 30th. Crookes has been nearly unstoppable, hitting 20 or more points in 21 of 29 games, and topping 38 times. She leads the big 12 averaging 25.1 points per game, on 64.3% shooting. Fans and analysts are buzzing about her dominance, especially paired with Guard Jada Williams, forming one of the league's best inside-out side combos. Opponents can only hope to slow her down, not stop her. With the big 12 tournament ahead in an NCAA bid in sight, the cyclones look prime for a deep run, and Crookes could break more records if she returns next year.
