Auburn Tigers Win Big on Senior Night

Sophomore Guard Tahad Petty Ford led the charge with 27 points on 10-16 shooting, plus 6 assists and 4 steals. The 6-foot-1 guard mixed threes, drives, and even a big dunk to keep his team in control. In the second half, Auburn pulled away after leading by 7 at the break. Petty Ford dropped 17 points there, including back-to-back threes in under a minute. Then Kevin Overton heated up, scoring 14 straight points for Auburn with 3-3s, a layup, and free throws to seal the double-digit lead. Coach Stephen Pearl praised the team's defense and energy, noting 13 steals and turning LSU's 10 first half turnovers into easy points. Players like Kishon Hall, with 17 points and 6 rebounds, plus Elijah Freeman's 10 points, stepped up big. Fans got to cheer the seniors in the final moments, too. Overton finished with 21 points, and he and Petty Ford combined for 8-13 from beyond the arc.
