Auburn's Powerful Ground Attack: Brown & New RBs

He's assembled a strong roster around dual-threat quarterback Byron Brown, who last season became the only player in college football to throw for, more than 3,000 yards while rushing for over 1,000. Brown is thrilled about the new running back group after the team's first spring practice. He believes his presence on the field will create opportunities for them to shine in the run game. These backs bring proven talent from other programs. Jeremiah Cobb had a breakout junior year with 969 rushing yards. Bryson Washington led Baylor with 788 yards and 6 touchdowns last season. Ty Meadows topped Troy's rushing with 695 yards and 6 scores. Nekahi Davenport added 612 yards and 7 touchdowns at South Florida right behind Brown.
