Asylum Seekers on Trial for Brighton Beach Rape

The main players are 20-year-old Egyptian Karen Aou, Danesert, 25-year-old Egyptian Ibrahim Al-Shafei, and 26-year-old Iranian Abdullah Amadi. All three live together in a home office hotel for asylum seekers near Horsham. Players call the attack cynical and predatory on a woman who had lost her friends during a night out. Al-Danesert admits filming the incident with three videos, but says he did it to gather evidence for police and try to stop his friends. He claims he pulled at them first and spoke words like, God will expose you to make them back off.
