Assault Charges for Teens in Dundee Girls' Attack

0:00On March 6, a 22-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman faced charges for assaulting two young girls in Dundee last summer. The incident happened in the Lochi area on St. Anne Lane in August. Ilya Belov and Najedza Belova are accused of targeting the girls during what started as threatening behavior. Belova allegedly made sexual comments, followed the group, grabbed one girl, and shoved her down. Belova is said to have yanked another by the hair, dragged her to the ground, and punched her head, causing injury. The victims were part of a group of four girls aged 12-14. The case came up at Dundee's Sheriff Court on Friday, where both entered not guilty please. No real reactions from the public have surfaced yet, but these attacks on kids always stir concern in local communities. Sheriff Gregor Murray set the trial for April 15th at the same court.
