Artificial Intelligence and the Fight Against COVID-19

With the help of AI, Canadian researchers are working on a number of projects that could help in the fight against the novel coronavirus. We speak with Sasha Luccioni, Director of Scientific Projects at the AI for Humanity Department at Mila in Quebec, about the efforts to find treatments for COVID-19 and to optimize hospital equipment allocation based on predictions of infection rates.
