Arson Suspects Charged in Jewish Ambulance Blaze

It happened in the early hours of March 23rd, outside of Synagogue, with flames so fierce they set off gas canisters and caused about 1 million pounds in damage. The crew from Hatsola, a volunteer emergency service, got hit hard. Today at Westminster Magistrates Court, 20-year-old Hamza Iqbal and 19-year-old Rehan Khan from Layton, plus a 17-year-old from Walthamstow, faced charges of arson reckless to endangering life. They got remanded Iqbal and Khan to custody, the youth to detention. No police entered yet, and they're due back at the Old Bailey on April 24th. Prosecutors called it a premeditated hit on the Jewish community, part of a counter-terror probe, though motives still unclear. Two older guys in their 40s were arrested earlier, but bailed to late April.
