Arson at London Synagogue: Latest in String of Attacks

0:00On April 21st, a 17-year-old from Brent just got charged with Arson after torching a synagogue in Northwest London. Cops say he threw a lid bottle through a window at Kenton United Synagogue in Harrow late Saturday night. Video of the whole thing hit online quick. He's facing Arson not endangering life and heads to Westminster magistrates court on Tuesday. Police also grabbed a 19-year-old link to it, but released him on bail for more checks. Damage was just minor smoke inside, no one hurt, no big structural issues. This ain't isolated, it's the latest hit on Jewish spots around London. Folks are on edge with these attacks piling up, stirring real fear in the community after recent tensions. Back on March 23rd, Arson took out four Jewish ambulances in Golders Green. Then came strikes on a synagogue and Finchley, an old Jewish charity spot in Hinden, plus a drone buzzing the Israeli embassy. A shadowy group calling itself, Harakat Ashab Al Yaman, Al Islamia.
