0:00On March 30th, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the 78-year-old terminator star and former California Governor just picked up an honorary doctorate from Ulster University in Belfast. He got it for his work in public service, environmental leadership and the arts. This trip marks his return to the city after six decades. Back in 1966, Arnie made what he calls a breakthrough visit to Belfast as a young bodybuilder. He shared fond memories, saying it felt so great to be back. The university rolled out the red carpet for the occasion. Students showed up in droves, waving signs like Ulster, he's back to catch a glimpse of the icon. Film majors called him inspirational for his Hollywood career, while even a golf management student joined the buzz just to be part of it. During the event, he reunited with Belfast telegraph photographer Roy Smith, who snapped an iconic shot of him from that 1966 trip. He also met Sandra Weir from the same photo. She said she never dreamed it had become famous and Arnie even remembered her.
