Argentine Soldier Freed, Returning Home

Nawhal Gallow, from Argentina's Gandarmory, was released recently, according to the country's foreign minister. Officials confirmed he has already left Venezuela in soil. The detention happened late in 2024 and sparked major friction between Argentine President Javier Miele and Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro. A tension boiled over before U.S. forces captured Maduro in January and sent him to New York. Gallow's wife shared the great news on social media, saying she just spoke with him and he is flying back to Argentina. Their son Victor will get to hug his dad in just a few hours. The family could not be happier. Buenos Aires called the arrest unfair from the start and took the case to an international court. It highlighted the rough patch in relations between the two nations. Now with Gallow's safely heading home, this chapter seems to be closing.
