00Done with basketball Keith is ready to walk away. I mean hang up hang up the the the JT3's or whatever he wears So I feel like you downplay the injury a little bit, but the more you hear Talk it is a little tough Paul Pierce one of my all-time favorite Celtics was nearly stabbed to death. Yeah at a nightclub Oh, I thought you were gonna go the other way and show you when he got wheeled off the court in the finals I pooped his pants. That was whenever I got it. I'm saying it's stabbed to death. He did like off the court Like talk about because when you hear people say like how did this happen to me or like what is this? You usually think of some kind of like near death experience. Yes, or like some sort of crazy freak thing or like I didn't want to name all the different possibilities But you know what I'm talking about sure of rables Racine he's husband This happened to me like it's something like so far out of your control like not a sports injury you play sports You suffer a sports injury that happens your idol Jason Tatum's idol Kobe Bryant Suffered the same injury and was he just like oh my god, why me or did he just

04Recover come back and then play the best he could till the end of his career a lot of guy like we went over all the names Kevin Durant One of your peers one of your team USA teammates suffered the same injury came back Dominic Dominic Wilkins did it 20 30 years ago 30 years ago Yeah, this injury and he came back and he will I mean his career ended pretty abruptly like two years later Effectively, but I mean he came back 30 years ago You know far medicine's come from that Ricky pierce all got shot and came back Ryan Robinson gets shot and came back guys had these awful things happen to him off the field which really were like Wrong place wrong time wrong people involved just like bad stuff and Like real life threatening injuries. This is a I guess career threatening injury Although there's a lot of guys that were able to come back or if it's not career threatening It's at least like time consists very time consuming you're not gonna be back tomorrow Oh, yeah, and like we don't see all that although you didn't show us some of your documentary But I think it's absolutely career altering because yes, I would have I never thought he'd be the same player coming back from the injury

08Okay, and that I might have already been proven wrong on that I never thought he'd be a first team all NBA player was the kind of the marketing he looks like he might be this year But he looks like he absolutely could be okay, so he maybe he's already proven me wrong on that it's career altering very time You wanted to walk away from the sport. Yeah, I guess like I feel like Even like Gordon Hayward's injury that he suffered with the Celtics was clearly more gruesome to a viewer and even as a play If you look down and see that I Mean that would probably be a hard wrap around yeah, I would get that response from Gordon Hayward or from Kevin wear Yeah Paul George had one like that George DAC. Yeah, oh those are some of his ankle back into his But his leg Achilles I would say to me is like a step up from like ACL like and though the ACLs happen all the time and even those are time consuming and those are like You know the day-to-day. I'm sure is Is Obnoxious like you got to just be constantly rehabbing and it's a whole thing and like you're away from what you want to do

12I I don't doubt that it is like pretty demoralizing But I beat the way he talks about it is It's ridiculous It's ridiculous is what it is. Yeah, yeah, by the way college Tom slash real-life Tom is a staring daggers at us right now We're ripping out his face shaking his head out. That's just like he's very Discussed he was one second away from the pearly gates and now he's back playing basketball Didn't the man's eye he almost Close now he didn't is what it was but it's it's unbelievable Yeah, I who came back I want to take his side on these things because I'm like listen It's not the injury didn't happen to me. So like I didn't have to go through the surgery I don't have to go through the rehab but other athletes have and it was a sports injury So like you're like how how in the world did this happen to me? I'm like, I don't know like it's Steph Diggs say that when he blew out his ACL I mean like Tom Brady say that when he blew out his ACL He said he was happy to walk out of Madison's work Garden on his own two feet. Yeah me too I mean the guy the guy recovered like a pub quicker than anybody else like you know like barely just like barely faster than like the average person

17He's coming back to the century That's the measure of time. I'm not at that. There you go. You got a unit of measurement. I'm not gonna call it that one before he came He came back like so slightly ahead. Yeah of of most of the people who come back from this injury No, he's average and he's acting like he's pretty much average He almost died and was never gonna walk again It it honestly is ridiculous now. I'm keeping track of the weeks. It was it's it happened I forgot about it like it's his anniversary. He's like oh, yeah, no to every Tuesday. It's another week This Tuesday will be 47 weeks like it's an anniversary. You're back. I've lost track of that I'm back. How long was that? I haven't I haven't been engraved in my way. Oh my god I forgot about it. I always have to like pause and do quick math He's like look at it and be like what year was it again? 2015 he's like it was 47 weeks three days four hours and 12 minutes ago 11 minutes ago. You're like all right, bud. Okay Like you're back the draft clock. Yeah, so it's a weird thing to like constantly have Jason Hey Jason, you're back. You're back. You don't need to count the weeks anymore. You're back. You look fine. You're okay You lived you survived you may it's gonna be like 30 years tonight. It's gonna be talking about

20Probably like guys you remember I was playing the next in the second. He said it's the worst day It's the most traumatic thing that ever happened. That's true. I try to block out the worst days of my life Shut that shocking that you made it almost three decades on this planet And that's the worst thing that ever had your own words the worst thing that ever happened to you like that is that you have to count Your lucky stars. It's gonna be that far. It's gonna be difficult to move on I feel like if you keep marking the days Like whatever the worst day of your life is. I'm not going back to I don't know the exact time it was from then to now And so I don't know But it's not affecting his play So like even if you don't like what he's saying or nothing you don't like it But if you're just like rolling your eyes at what he's saying that's fine I think most of us are kind of doing that at this point But if he's going out there and putting up 20 points and 10 rebounds and eight assists that I agree with where was he in crunch time last night Well, I mean if you want to actually talk about how he played everything where was he in crunch time I saw Baylor Shireman. Oh, I'm sorry. How do you think Baylor got the ball? Well fair point someone had to get it though 617 seven seven nine seven ninety three seven

20People on the text that don't seem to be taking Tatum's side How they don't Where it dice had a good tweet or text where is it I'm scrolling down It was something along the lines of well look when you're talking to Taylor rooks She has a way of she does She has a way of getting the the the the the men there Didn't Jalen Brown said they're gonna win the eight titles. That's when Jalen Brown got away from him was with Taylor Yeah, he's like, you know, I think I'm gonna win like five in like where am I at in five years? I don't know. I'm probably with five rings. He's like hey Taylor. How many push-ups do you think I could do right now? She's like, I don't know. This isn't the point of the interview. Why does every guy ask me this? No, I don't want to know the nuclear codes I I'll never tell you five three six eight Right, so not a bad point by dice like maybe this is another moment of it getting away from him except Tatum did this in his own documentary and he did it last night with the media after the game like the trolls in the media after the game Yeah, and you know and he's talking about walking out of his own two feet, right? So that's a byproduct of last night

25617 777 97 97 I want to get to something Jalen said last night. These two were very talkative. Yes But a reminder that Jones and Keith are brought to you every day from the catches law injury attorney studios No fee unless you win Jalen Brown had his or Ramona Shelburn have a takeout on Jalen Brown the other day where I think you took a mini shot at ownership They got more into the astrological charts and everything Keith his belief in You know The astrology life. Well, and how it can impact It get like 10% more out of these players. Yep. Yeah, he knows everybody sign. He knows all that stuff It got deeper into all of that But Ramona Shelburn last night before the game asked him uh, if he should be the MVP of the league I thought he gave an interesting pitch. Here's his pitch to be the MVP. Do you think that you should be the MVP this year? Uh analytically probably not honestly But I put my

25Blood sweat in tears into this season on the court from a performance standpoint You know my team leads me to do Both ends of the court and then also from a leadership standpoint galvanizing guys getting Everybody on the same page in the midst of uncertainty to help keep us in contention at the top of the league Analytics don't quantify Who I am and who my spirit is That's true analytics don't take into account spirit great answer though And he was asked about a point blank right? So this isn't like from the outside. Oh Jaylen Brown talking about MVP No, he was asked point blank Do you think you should be the MVP victor win by Alma? We could go give a whole spiel why he should be the MVP And you know what go for it. I don't mind if these guys pitch it Don't downplay the fact that you would want to be the MVP. You should You get it can still very much be within the team Constructing the gold the ultimate goals to in a title, but why not try to be the MVP pretty good answer You know, he's like look at his like well, you didn't say it, but like SGA like we're gonna share his numbers

26His teams also want a lot of games maybe a little bit more talented of a team But they've won a lot of games his numbers are are fantastic So he'll probably win it if you're just doing that But I think Brown's best case is what he was saying and I don't know if all the voters will feel the same way some might where they like Look He started the year not just without Tatum, but really with a whole new team like basically a new starting lineup He was like he and Derrick white and they they're back this year the expectations were lower Not as low as you know, he said not the straw man that he's gone with not gap you're low But not too seed in the east definitely not for him to have career highs and points rebounds and assists and be Probably the best player in the conference and right up there were those guys You know Jalen Brown's been all NBA once and it was second team and it came out of perfect time because he's able to get the super max But he's sort of viewed around the league as like an all-star maybe a top 20 guy maybe top 15 depending where you're at He has put himself in the top five conversation for this season

28So I think he deserves like recognition Um, but it was interesting to hear him answer it the way that he did I agree with I mean look He's like analytically. No, there's no number that supports that But look at where the teams at I put my blood sweat and tears into it I didn't mind that answer either quite frankly, and I agree. He was asked point blank. What are you gonna do? Yeah? Yeah, yeah answer it No answer answer maybe he asked to get asked the question No, he's not like some of these some of these sit downs happen John is in Worcester on the Celtics get us started today John Hey, how's it going guys? Listen I love the show Joseph Keith It took 30 minutes to start talking about Jason tandem and we were talking about only about documentary I mean, I mean, how do you think he played Yesterday in the game, you know, you think he was maybe scared that he's went went back to the next Or you know like or do you guys think he still did a good job even though they lost? I mean, I think he was fine. He was a minus 16 or he didn't shoot well He played I think he was 40 minutes. He was out there a ton. I think it I think it was a big deal to him

30I mean, he has said it as much. So I think it was something that he had to face head on He didn't shoot it once again. He wasn't super efficient shooting But he did a lot of other things. He's been rebounding like crazy since he got back so that's a pond other double double Yep 13 rebounds eight assists. I did have six turnovers and he wasn't super efficient shooting and the fourth quarter You know wasn't great, but I would say it's another game where you're like all right That's just a bad game. Not like always as killies must be barking at him It's like I think he's healthy. It's just he's got to find the shot some nights a couple nice. He's had it most nice He hasn't really but he's contributed in a lot of other ways and I still have confidence like once jalen brown is back Or is playing a series with the nicks and Jason Tatum is able to be like the the number two score like I think they're cooking with gas Jones and Keith w e i brought to you by the 99 restaurants You can visit the nines the day after the red socks win and get a free kids meal with every adult on trade purchase the 99 restaurant The official family restaurant of the boss and red socks

32I think this weekend is going to be a good time to get over to the nines Because I think they're going to beat up on high and bloom and the st. Louis Cardinals We're not talking red socks though. We are going to get to our top five Friday back to label in russini the story of the week More pictures emerging yesterday key for a picture a picture photograph Which on its own not incriminating. No piled on the rest of this. How about Not a great look So we are going to get into key for the top five places to have an affair clearly Yeah, at least I don't think it's the ambiente out in the desert Out of my Arizona did not make my call either where are the top five places to have an affair that's next
