0:00On April 22nd, former Premier League striker Michael Antonio is staring down a driving ban after his £200,000 Lamborghini got nabbed, speeding. The 36-year-old didn't show up to court and got convicted for failing to name the driver when it was clocked at 50 mph in a 40-mile per hour zone on Birmingham's inner ring road back in March. This comes just months after he barely survived a horrific Ferrari crash into a tree in Epping Forest. He was trapped for 45 minutes, spent over three weeks in hospital with a shattered leg, and called it his second chance at life. Antonio already has six points on his license from that no insurance Ferrari wreck, so these new mandatory six points will trigger an automatic ban, under the tidying up rules. He plays now for Qatar as Al-Salea, after leaving West Ham. Prosecutors dropped a speeding charge, but he's due for sentencing on June 19th at Birmingham Magistrate's Court, and word is, he's got separate. Driving charges pending in London too.
1:02Even after swearing off sports cars for a safer Mercedes people carrier, trouble keeps finding him behind the wheel, makes you wonder if the road's got. It out for this X-West hammies.
