Another View Of The First Commandment by Larry Swartz
About this episode
The Ten Commandments, also known as the Decalogue, are a set of ethical and religious directives that are part of the Hebrew Bible. According to the Bible the Ten Commandments were given to Moses on Mount Sinai and he then gave them to the children of Israel who had been enslaved in Egypt.
Exodus 20:2 The first commandment is "You shall have no other gods before me."
Listen as Larry shares this metaphysical lesson on the first commandment and suggests ways in which one may have other gods, or give power to something other than the One Power in different areas of life and how this can and does block the flow of our good.
