The 37-year-old ex-England international faces trial on January 18, 2027, after allegedly making repeated calls to, his ex-wife Billy Mucklow, last March without a good reason. The order came from a family court, aimed at protecting Mucklow, who starred on the reality show The Only Way As Essex. Carroll's legal team missed an initial hearing date due to a scheduling mix-up, but he joined the next day via video link from a parked car. Carroll built a big career starting in Newcastle, United before a massive 35-million-pound move to Liverpool in 2011. He earned nine caps for England, scoring twice, and has since played for clubs like West Ham and West Brom. Now with National League's South Side, Dagonham and Redbridge, he confirmed his name and plea clearly during the court session. The judge granted him bail right away. With the case set for next year, Carroll maintains his innocence as preparations move forward.
