Anchorage Voting Starts: Vote Centers Open

0:00In-person voting started Tuesday in Anchorage for the April 7th municipal election with vote centers open at Loosak Library, City Hall, and Eagle River Town Center. On the ballot, you got six assembly seats, two school board spots, plus propositions and a special tax levy to help the Anchorage school district. Elections Administrator Liz Admin says these centers let folks vote right there, grab a replacement ballot, or drop off their voted one to get it. Initial by a worker for extra piece of mind. The centers run weekdays from March 31st through April 6th, 9am to 6pm, Saturday April 4th from noon to 4pm, and Election Day April 7th from 7am to 8pm. With just a week left, Admin's urges anyone mailing ballots to hit the post office for a manual postmark to beat any delays. If your ballot hasn't shown up, call the election center at 907-243-VOTE.
