Alvarez, Pages, Adell Shine in Week One

Jordan Alvarez from the Astros and Andy Pages from the Dodgers just got named

Players of the Week for their Master starts to the 2026.

Season Alvarez took American League honors while the 23-year-old

Pages grabbed National League and capping it off.

Angels Outfielder Joe Adele snagged Play of the Week for straight up robbing

three home runs in one game. Alvarez bounced back strong after missing 48 games

last year with injuries. He hit 471 for the week, smashing three home runs,

two doubles, driving in eight runs, drawing seven walks and only striking out three

times. Now he's tied for third and homers with four.

Leads the league in on base at 578 and slugging at 900 and this marks his

fourth. Career Player of the Week nod.

Meanwhile, Pages is building on his breakout 2025 with a scorching slash line of

583 over 615 over 917 that included two homers, two doubles and seven RBI's

putting him atop the charts and batting average at 471 and hits with 16.

It's his second such award already. Adele's defensive

clinic came Saturday night in a one nothing angel shutout over the Mariners.

The 26 year old leaped to deny Cal Raleigh, Josh Naylor and J.P. Crawford,

their long balls with that ninth inning grab over the right field.

Wall into the stands being pure highlight real fire, tumbling but holding the ball
