Queen, everything in life isn’t fun, all the time. Joy is lost on so many things. Your purpose though, can never be lost because it hides within those things that soothes your soul that you love doing whether you are compensated by society’s standards or not. It is those things you do in life which are the things that are truly worth pursuing. Those things which inspire you to work hard and bust your tail 8 or more hours (AFTER, clock out of your 9-5). It’s those dreams and visions you sleep with each night and embrace with love every day, whether you get paid for them, or not. Behind all of these things, lies your purpose.
Purpose gives direction and meaning to your life. It keeps you on course and out of trouble, most times. Although, it is sometimes the trouble in your life that helps you truly connect with your purpose. Your purpose encourages you to set those goals, persevere through challenges, and find fulfillment in what you do. Whether it’s personal growth, helping others, or pursuing deep rooted passions. A sense of purpose helps you navigate your experiences and motivates you to keep moving forward. Ultimately, it shapes the way you live and interact with the world and people around you.
Having a sense of purpose provides you with guidance and real significance in life. It inspires you to set realistic goals and create obtainable objectives; to persist through obstacles and challenges, and discover satisfaction in all your actions in your life. Whether you focus on self-improvement, supporting others, or following your interests, purpose helps you understand your journey and drives you to continue striving ahead, even when you may feel you have already come to the end of your road. In the end, your purpose influences how you live and connect with those around you.
You tap in, Queen! Intensify YOUR focus! Dig deep. Sift hard! Then sow (s-o-w) successfully!
Always move strategically when deciding to CHARGE STRONG, BOLD AND UNAPOLOGETICALLY INTO YOUR particular PURPOSE! Think and ponder, a lot, plan and revisit your plans with “viciously ambition” and constantly move towards your dreams and your fears, simultaneously and courageously. Take little leaps or kick doors completely in. More than anything, trust your faith. Be confident in your skills, gifts and talents, and choose supportive communities to celebrate your losses and wins with because when you align with your purpose, you link up with people and opportunities that make you realize that your walking in your purpose will always be a portal for peace, productivity and prosperity. Period!

Bringing life to each of the episodes, we share with you requires a lot of dedicated work. It has taken us outside of our usual comfort zones, and has challenged us to learn new things, meet new people, and keep pushing and praying. This vision that my mother and I birthed together, sitting on our piece porch, while I was carrying her granddaughter, was blossomed into something bold and something beautiful. Quickly, we have spent many late nights and long days learning apps like Adobe in Audacity, Teams, and others that were hit in this. I've learned how to extract and convert MP4 files into MP3 using a very strange and edit voice recordings to capture the best version of the five-time enhanced spaces share. We've lost recordings and had to reschedule and redo many original plans. We've also had to be social and be sure to keep you updated through posting and
connecting on several social media platforms. Behind the scenes, there are the countless hosting apps and streaming service memberships, which all have different requirements in order to affiliate. Paint versions are not. And most importantly, we have been challenged to be just as vulnerable as the queens have been, ensuring their precious realities with us. We sincerely thank you for all the lessons in continuing downloads and support. I'm glad you've decided to share your valuable listening time with me. And thinking about where to start today's conversation and before talking about purpose specifically, I had to think long and hard about what I've always believed my own unique purpose in life to be. The title of this particular episode was intentionally chosen because it was inspired by a life-altering professional experience that challenged me and by default, strengthened my unwavering commitment to using my passions in life to continuously guide me to my purpose and to use my purpose in helping others live their purpose in life too, whether on somebody else's payroll or not. In a nutshell, I was fired the first time ever in my life and I've had a job
since I was 14. Eleven months from start date, I was ruthlessly fired from a job that I passionately wanted to use my talents and gifts to make a difference. For the record, I wasn't fired because I was not doing my job. Queen did I try? I wasn't fired for lack of talent, expertise, experience, or passion. I was fired because leadership was a joke and extremely unprofessional in how I saw business affairs being handled and more specifically because I refused to allow my intelligence and what I know my purpose is to be disrespected ever. Furthermore, I was fired because I questioned and I was adamant about getting answers to my questions which made sense to me. Had I not been fired, I doubt I would have stayed long. The environment was too toxic and unprofessional for my taste and the people I found myself working with apparently only had
passion for profiting their pockets and not the clients and the community they were supposed to be serving. I think management for the experience even as horrible as it was and I have never known will I ever look back. As my grandmother Weezie would say, don't let me monkey stop your show and I didn't and I haven't and I won't ever allow anyone to stop me from passionately sharing my gifts and towels with others in service of and pursuit of my purpose here on earth. What's the benefit of selling yourself short? Not a thing Queen, not a thing. I strongly believe that your purpose in life is revealed to you through the things you love and that you would spend every ounce of your time doing paid, paid well or not paid at all. It is usually tied to those things which nothing or no one can discourage or diminish your desires from doing.
Purpose speaks to us through the things we see in and are confident with. In ourselves, it is that consistent voice that speaks to you through your creativity, your dreams and innermost desires. Personally, there have been those who have not fully appreciated my gifts and talents and what I happen to bring to their particular table be it personal or professional or not. And there have also been those who have doubted and have wasted both my time and energies and at the loss to them by doubting me and my purpose in their equation. To doubters and disbelievers of my worth and value and the gifts and talents that I bring to the table, I have and will always respond without yourself if you choose but never ever doubt me. No one has that type of authority in my life, nor should they in yours, Queen. There have been times when I have allowed my talents, thoughts and tith as in money or mental resources to be wasted and unappreciated.
There have also been times when I was not paid what I perceived and knew my worth to be. It has been in those moments that I have found the power to move and shake and fight for me and what I believe I deserve just for being uniquely me. Period, no matter who my check is coming from. There is no amount of money that can compensate you fully for using your purpose. The rewards are invaluable when your passion, purpose and profits connect. That particular intersection is profound. In Japanese culture, it is called e-ki-gaii, literally translated a person's reason for being. It is the concept of an individual's definition of the meaning of their life. Each time I have felt myself angry or happy or in pain from any type of toxic behavior in my life, most especially when it comes to the precious time I put into
personal or professional jobs, I have always found myself releasing my thoughts and raw emotions one way or another and taking them out on a piece of paper or on the keyboard of my laptop. For me, it has always been and will always be words in some form of fashion that ignites my emotions and delights my soul. Whether I have written those words for my own use or for someone else's consumption, I'm always writing and loving every single minute of it. In fact, I have drawers and boxes and file folders filled with countless words I have written over the years of my life. Since I can remember I have been writing for myself and for others, poetry, poems, essays, short stories, magazine articles, books, love letters, resumes, business plans, websites, blogs, standards of operations and all of that. Sadly, I have written something for the obituaries of
and homecoming, homegoing celebrations for those I love, all neatly tied in a stack, three inches thick in my nightstand. Whether I have used my mastery and love of language to help myself or to help someone else, the passion never changes. These days, my love of words has led me to develop the Wounds Podcast and I Fight Magazine. Both are venues dedicated to helping small businesses, entrepreneurs and especially women grow, prosper and realize the unhinged power of self and utilizing true community. Through these babies of mine and with the help of other powerful women, I offer the community impactful seminars, workshops, courses and affordable marketing and positive public relations opportunities. The aim is to provide access to useful and helpful information, wisdom and knowledge. I'm most determined to use my gifts and talents
and tandem with other strong queens to develop this space into a powerful, positive platform that allows the frequency of voices that is words and motion to help and to heal one another and the world. Got the picture? Now, let's get into purpose. Your purpose frames the things you give your unselfish love, devotion and time to no matter what the assignment is attached. It is a guiding force in the directions you choose in your life and those that ultimately choose you one way or another. My beautiful mother known artistically as ribous art, rest and peace, power and prettiness used to always say that people without purpose ultimately perish and I'd add that often at their very own hands one way or another,
my clean mother knew her purpose since she was a little girl to touch and teach children with loving and artistic hands and until her dine days, that's exactly what she did whether she was compensated or not. When you know your purpose, you do things intentionally in service of finding, feeding and flaunting your purpose in a very good, unselfish, unstuck up kind of way. When you walk in your purpose, your confidence becomes and is unshakable, undeniable and absolutely unstoppable in pursuit. You look forward to taking those names and kicking that ass as the old saying goes, this all sounds fine, dandy and easy, right? Then what's the explanation for the millions of women everywhere lost in the noise of no direction
in their lives? The millions upon millions upon millions of people that take their hopes and dreams and best plans and ideas and purpose with them straight to a cold, dark and lonely grave. Why are so many dreams buried six feet under and sometimes only beneath our own fears and doubts? It's not because folks don't want to do and accomplish great things in life, but it is because most of us truly only want to do the things which bring us pure joy, happiness and fun in our lives, correct? While paying the bills and providing a comfortable quality of life. Not too much to ask, right? You might also ask, why is it often the things we love and that feed our souls and connect us to the universe and who we truly see ourselves as, individuals as? Are the things we are
most often discouraged from or perhaps not encouraged enough to pursue? Or even worse, why are there people who do pursue their passions and obvious purpose in life? Full force, only to throw it away or water down its worth by only being willing to share the gifts and talents attached to their purpose for top dollar and headliner shake and show. That's a lot of wise isn't it? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why are so many, so many queens missing the memo? Because many of you simply do not know how to use the things you love to do most to make an honest, decent living, but in a very big one at that. You do somehow figure out how to get up and go to work and punch a clock every single day for years upon years where you are most often just given popcorn scraps and all the other crap
that sits through the cracks in the uncomfortable seats you sit in front, row and center in a storage room office and somebody else's dreams, religiously. I've been there. Why? Because most of us are not properly taught how to integrate our unique gifts and talents into models of prosperity and success for our lives and for the lives of those we choose to love, period. Many of us do not know or do not understand that true wealth building begins with thanking on self that it comes with realizing that the best ride or die chick is the one driving the damn car and that should be an is you queen more importantly you need to remember you hold the keys to the truck and that you are the map. Purpose gives direction and meaning to your life. It keeps you on course and out of trouble most
times although it is sometimes the trouble in your life that helps you truly connect with your purpose. Your purpose encourages you to set those goals, persevere through challenges and find fulfillment in what you do. Whether it's personal growth, helping others or pursuing deep rooted passions, a sense of purpose helps you navigate your experiences and motivates you to keep moving forward no matter. Ultimately it shapes the way you live and interact with the world and the people around you. Having a sense of purpose provides you with guidance and real significance in your life. It inspires you to set realistic goals and create obtainable objectives to persist through obstacles and challenges and to start a satisfaction in all your actions in
life. Whether you focus on self-improvement, supporting others, or following your interests, purpose helps you understand your journey and drives you to continue striving ahead. Even when you feel you may have already come to the end of your road. In the end, your purpose influences how you live and connect with those around you. Discover what your purpose is can be difficult in many ways because to know your purpose you must first know yourself clean and that can be one of the most difficult challenges ever. Especially since we all are basically programmed from birth to behave and respond to life in the manner in which the people around us do. This reality can cause you to question who you are, what you're supposed to be doing in and with your life as well as how to do it and ultimately how you choose to live your life.
I challenge you seek and charge unapologetically into your purpose. Allow your purpose to give you courage to be both profound and profane if need be in pursuit of what you were sent here to Mother Earth to do. Whether it is being the best stay at home mom or CEO running a million dollar organization or simply the beauty you provide through you just being you. Be passionate about all things you attach your name to. Clean, remember sometimes you have to charge and charge in order to directly and expressly experience the full benefits of walking in your purpose. Some actionable exercises for you. Number one, write your own obituary. I've done it. Imagine what you want to be remembered for after your gone. It's a hard thing to do but do it.
This provides immediate perspective on what you should value now. Number two, try the magic wand visualization. Where if you could change anything in the world without limits by just waving a wand, what would it be and why? The why often reveals your own core purpose. Number three, try imperfect action. Meaning don't wait for total clarity, volunteering in different fields or starting small projects allows you to try on a purpose to see if it's a fit. Excuse me. Many of us have multiple purposes. Number four, draft a life purpose statement. Create a concrete detailed sentence. Just one, describing how you will use your gifts to make an impact. For example, I will create art that inspires beauty and expression. And number five, explore Ikigahi. This Japanese concept represents the intersection of what you love,
what you're good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. Our weekly focus, as you move through your days, be intentional about focusing on the things which bring you joy without much effort. Those things which make you happy and bring fulfillment to your life, queen your purpose is within you, you were born with it. In our womb's wisdom, even when and if your purpose has been cloudy by the actions or insults of others or yourself, as their opinions might color your choices in life,
imagine yourself doing exactly what you love with the people you love doing it with or in your terms, period. If you can dream it, you have the power to achieve it. Never stop chasing it, whatever your it happens to be. And good reads, Manifestation Journal Magic. your journey. We challenge you to continuously seek information, resources, and people genuinely committed to helping you navigate this thing called life. As you continue your journey and quest to find your purpose, name it on East dot screen. Identify your strengths and talents. Use tools like character strength surveys or personality assessments to pinpoint your natural abilities. You can also ask three to five close friends or family members what they think you are best at to see patterns you might have missed. Look for flow activities, pay attention to tasks that make you lose track of time or make you forget to eat or sleep. These are often cues to your underlying passions. Math your heart breaks. Consider what injustice and problems in the world genuinely upset you and that you cannot just let sit. Your purpose
often lies in helping to solve a problem you care deeply about. Prioritize your values. Reflect on what matters most to you. Example, creativity, security, compassion, peace. Use vision boards or car swimming exercises to help you see you from the outside looking in. Some actionable exercises. Write your own habituary. Imagine what you want to be remembered for after you're gone. This provides immediate perspective on what you should value now. And number two, do the magic wand visualization. If you could change anything in the world without limits, what would it be and why? The why author reveals your core purpose. Try imperfect action. Don't wait for total clarity. And today I just want to leave you with a little food for thought. Don't quit. When things go wrong as they sometimes will, when the road you're trudging seems all uphill, when the funds are low and the debts are high and you want to smile but you have to sigh, when care is pressing you down a bit, rest if you must but don't you quit. Life is queer with this twist and turns as every one of us sometimes learns and many of failure turns about when she might have won had she stuck it out. Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
you may succeed with another blow. Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the clouds of doubt. And you never can tell how close you are, it may be near when it seems so far, so queen, stick to the fight when your heart is hit, it's when things seem worse that you must not quit. Do you question your existence here on Mother Earth? Are you fulfilled as in you feel whole, queen? Have you really truly tapped into the power of using your passions to push you towards the things that will not only bring you happiness but also a four piece and prosperity into your life?
