Negotiations with Durham School Services kicked off last June, but talk stalled. The Union team offered to meet over the weekend to hash things out, yet Durham passed on it. These in the Valley now face big disruptions, with kids missing rise to school and parents scrambling for alternatives. This could drag on daily commutes and school routines for many. Durham School Services fired back, calling the walk out premature. They point out both sides had already set mediated sessions for March 17th and 18th to rabble a deal.
