Alabama Police Shoot Man During Warrant Serving

0:00Birmingham's story is making news on March 10th. A police officer in Alibaster, Alabama shot a man Tuesday afternoon while serving warrants at a home off Simsville Road. The incident happened around 12.40 pm, according to local police. Officers went to the residence for the outstanding warrants and ran into the individual during the encounter. That's when one officer fired their service weapon and hit the man. The injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital with what police call non-life threatening wounds. He's now in stable condition and luckily no officers got hurt in the process. The Alabama law enforcement agency has taken over the investigation into the shooting.
