Afroman's Trial: Social Media Posts vs. Deputies

0:00On March 18th, here's the latest out of Durham, the trial for rapper Froman, whose real name is Forman, kicked off on Monday in Adams County, Ohio. Deputies from the local sheriff's office are suing him over social media posts he made after a raid on his home, back on August 21st, 20. 22. He filmed the whole thing with security cameras and turned the footage into a music video for his song, Lemon Pound Cake, which blew up online. My raid showed officers busting down his door with rifles ready. Forman says they wrecked his place pretty bad and that deputies messed with his cameras. He also claimed they took $400 that went missing, calling their explanation of a miscount pretty suspicious. The deputies fired back in court, saying his post led to them feeling humiliated and even getting death threats. They're arguing the videos and shares crossed the line. An outside probe by the Adams County Sheriff's office cleared things up on the money. It was just a counting error, no theft.
