It won't matter to label. I think we know that. I don't write it off. We can go 82 and I don't know where we care. He's a piece of crap. The kid, he sucks. He's sucked his own career. I got a reason to buy him. I couldn't please his wife. So now he's divorced. Put a damn winning team on the field. Now, the Ken Carman show with Anthony Lyma give their thoughts on what you might have missed about last night.

02Well, last night. Start off with the stuff. Here we go. Well, Russell Westbrook, he's making headlines again this morning. He's been angry at the media pretty much his entire career. What? What are you talking about, man? And last night, he absolutely rips some of the Sacramento reporters. They've been talking crap. The kings are really bad, but he is digging into these reporters. We guys have a lot of opinions about how we do what we do. What you got? Yeah, you make a lot of statements and broad statements that you have no context. So what do you get your context for? Are you in practice? No. Are you in a film session? No. Are you anywhere around the building? Yes. No, I have to say I practice inside the false context. And actually, do you know me? No, you don't know me. Or you don't know me. You don't know me. You don't know me. But you make a lot of comments as though you do know me.

03Darryl, you're the resident writer here. Is Russell Westbrook valid for this? This is what happens when you're the worst in your league. The players go after the media. It's the media's fault and not theirs. Look, I just... The kings are unwatchable. And this reminds me of back when the Browns were on while the Browns in some respects were still unwatchable. But when they were really unwatchable, they went 4 and 44. No team in NFL history has ever gone 4 and 44 over three seasons. Congratulations to the Browns. They pulled it off. And look, I had players coming after me all the time because I was ripping them nonstop on the air. And so that's usually what happens. When you're a bad team, you blame the media instead of looking in the mirror. Because what's Russell Westbrook doing these days to help the Sacramento kings win a lot of games? Their goal is to lose by the way. And I think maybe that's what he's trying to say.

04We're not really trying to win, but I can't sit up here and say, we're not trying to win and that's where he drops the... Are you in our film sessions? Do you understand the concepts of what we're trying to do? The concepts of what you're trying to lose. And you're doing it well. Oh, am I able to tell him the... The former Brown, whatever you want to tell him. Is John in on the inside yet where I can tell him the old Browns coach story? Yeah, yeah. Okay. Well, we'll let him decide that. He's the keeper of the keys on that one. Wait for a minute. Yeah, I mean, when teams are bad, Daryl is totally right. When teams are bad, they obviously take things personally. I like it though, because I think a lot of us and myself has been included on this, I'm sure. When you are doing multiple things where you're no longer just reporting, you're also creating content and doing things. You start to ask questions where you think you want to lead them to answers so you can make points later on. And I think if we're just asking general questions, okay, help me understand what happened here. What happened there?

04What happened in this situation? That's much easier than the pointed questions that I think that Russell Westberg ain't no dummy. He knows why they're trying to ask that. And he knows that he can make these people look foolish. And he's going to make these people look foolish. So if it keeps his son or toes a little bit, I'm all for it. That's why I like Daryl's questions. That's why I like Jeff Gidell's questions. I think Jeff Gidell, when it comes to the Browns, I think Jeff Gidell asked questions that a lot of callers call in and ask us about. You and I were standing toe-to-toe with a former Browns coach in the locker room side-by-side when we got approached. It's when I just met Daryl. It was early. It was early, yeah. Okay, I want to make sure we're talking about the same coach. Yeah. And Daryl went to me and goes, that was intense. Like, I know Daryl for like two months. That was like, yes, it was, Daryl. Hey, let's just put it this way. Our personal space was absolutely invaded by this Browns head coach. It was awesome. It was awesome.

04This spittle was flying out of his mouth. It was talking to us. Yeah, we can't say the name right off. But you guys do the timeline. You guys can figure it out. Go ahead and go on the Odyssey app and guess the name. Go ahead, John. Let's go to people in this show have been saying about teams over the last week. The Pistons lost to the Spurs last night. Victor Wemen Yammer, 38.16 rebounds, five blocks. But the Pistons still sit at the number one seed in the east. And it feels like no one's taking them seriously. When they do have a really solid team, they have over 40 wins. They might win 60 games. I don't understand the Pistons hate other than the fact that they are just inexperienced in the playoffs. I think that this is going to be a real challenge for the Detroit Pistons here. When you get beat like that by the calves, the short handed calves twice. Yep. I think that by the way, it's going to be a significant challenge for them. But I think it's a natural order of things. Them losing to a West Coast team or Western Conference team. Western Conference teams are better. That's why they had Michael Pinyon the other night on the afternoon drive.

07And I was listening and driving out 44 and everything was, Hey, how can you do our calves are great? And they go, can they beat a team in the west? Boy, he was hemmin and hawn and like trying to find a nice way to say no. That's different. That's why I got him going to the NBA finals. I don't have them winning the NBA finals. I don't think it's disrespectful. But I think a lot of people go, yeah, man, the calves of the calves, I know that there's a label there, whether it's a fair or not, there's a label there that people bring up. But they've been through it over the last four or five years. The Pistons haven't. So they're about to learn a lesson. They're about to learn a valuable lesson probably when it comes to what it takes to get to that next level of this postseason. And also the coaches, JB Bickerstaff, he said he's had success in the regular season. He knows not so much in the postseason. I think that's another reason why people aren't taking the top seed pistons. You know. And then the last one here, the big 12 floor is already seeing malfunctions. So it's a glass floor with an LED display underneath. We've seen panels that have died. We've seen that they actually have a really hard time seeing the center line.

08Because the court isn't a regular basketball court. There's all these different colors. It's shaded gray. It can be changed to the logos of the different teams. So I don't know what to make of this court. I think it looks cool. I think it's the future of what we're going to see moving forward. But I think it's a bigger hassle than it's meant out to be. I thought it was interesting when I first saw it. I thought it was a way for people to tune into the Philips 66 big tournament. But it's going to be weird if you're sitting there breaking glass and trying to play basketball. Well, they did this a few years ago. I think it was the Indiana All-Star game. But not the All-Star game. They used it for the ancillary activities around the game. They used a regular floor for the game. But they tested it out for like I think All-Star Saturday night or something like that. So the LED floor, you're right. It's common. But it's clear. They've got some bugs. They've got to work out on that. Yeah, some things were figured out figured out. Is that it for about last night? That's it. Outstanding, John. Hey, I got an assignment for everybody later on for John.

08I know we do this on the weekends. For John. Everybody here for John. Well, for John, but I want everybody to contribute. I want non-Holophamers. John needs to go learn about with Cleveland. Ooh, that's a good one. It's easy to have him look up, autogram, and even Miles Garrett in his history. I said, I want to listen to the best. Just look at the mentions of your... 11:12about what I tweeted yesterday with my favorite calves? Absolutely because I have a very hipster calves take. I've got like eight favorite calves. I don't have one favorite calf. I've got like eight to ten of them. Even though he's a firebrand, he does. He is one of my favorite Boston writers.
