Now, Steven Kwan again, two-homer runs. He's signed his arbitration thing this year. He's eligible for arbitration next year. Do you pay the guy? Or do you let him walk? Do you trade him? Do you try to see what he can get for him? Because he's been on the pitch. How much do I pay him? Well, welcome in, John. This has been a feverish conversation over the past year. How much is- And man, if you want to give him $57 million a year. Give him $30 million a year, I'll care. Is he gonna get it? Is he gonna get it? Is he gonna get it? Will it snumber? $30, I'll care. Give him money. I don't care. It ain't my money. Well, it's not $30 million. You got to look at the market. What is it now? $30 million. He doesn't play center in the NFL. So after starting off 400, his best value is as a defensive left fielder, right? Where the hell the dare was. And I think he could be- I think he could be a great defensive center fielder as well. Now, wait a minute. Is he- The very brothers, one's in Detroit. The other one's at a bicycle bus. He's got the mini monster over there and left field over here at progressive field. Now, things may change if he ends somewhere else. That's true. I'm trying to think of a deep left field. Where's a deep left field at? Baltimore. Yeah, Baltimore. All his- All his advanced numbers- No, depending on where you're at.

4:04That's like 100 feet. All his advanced numbers were down last year. So that comes at an inopportune time for him. So he's- He's looking to bounce back in a big way. And you also wonder about, you know, what's going on with them? Looking at- Moving him around in the outfield, is that- Is that a value play for the- I saw some alluded this, like, increasing his trade value. I saw some, but you're saying, hey, how many teams would even- But is it a way for the- For the guardians to go, hey, we don't know if you're worth that contract as a left fielder. But if you work out as a center fielder, we can do that. We can put you there and- That could be a win-win for them either way, then, is- Yeah, I think what you're looting to. I think it all depends on what the guardians record is. Heading into the trade deadline. Is it worth it? I think if they're 15 to 20 games below 500 to the deadline, I think Stephen Kwan has gone. Well, that's not really hanging them out there, John. I think all of us had a set of that below. Were they- Wait, below 500 are back in the central. Yeah, that's in the central.

5:05Yeah, that was in the central. Then they made that run. That only one of us here on this show. And I think on this station saw- Maybe in this city. I think that's the biggest- I think if that's Owen's claim-to-fame right there. The Ryan's with Boeing, Jotaman. Elsewhere around sports today or last night, Stephen Kuerst, Steve Kuerst, he came out and said to the NBA, to make it a little bit of change. I know this will not be a popular opinion in the league office, but I will continue to say it, because it's obvious we need to play fewer games. We need to take 10 games off the schedule. I think it would be great for the league. And I get it. It's revenue, and you'd have to get everybody to agree to take a little less money. And that's a really hard thing to do. But what I know about the league, about coaching, about how hard it is to play the modern game with the pace and the space, I think it would be a more competitive and healthier league if we played fewer games. I'd probably agree with Steve Kuer, but you can wish in one hand and you know what,

6:07the other ain't going to take no haircuts for anybody. Well, they could, they could do that if they expanded. If they expand by two teams, you can take the schedule down into the, into the 68, 70 games. Is that why the expansion is becoming a thing? No, I think originally they thought, hey, if we expand and everybody plays 82 games, we can get an even bigger TV deal. When they don't really need to do that, expansion, you'll get the added money from the expansion fees. And then put less games on the slate. Now the thing is after that, how do you make sure that we don't get down to load management in the 50 games? Like then we're going to be sitting there going, duh, do we need to shorten the season even more? That would be a disaster. And the other thing is, the average fan is going to hear this and say, wait a second, we have max deals now where players are going to be making 70 million a year and they need to play less games. Like you're going to get no sympathy from fans, but I could tell you as someone who has loved the game, whether they played the 82 games back in the 80s, to the 90s, to the 2000s,

7:08I love every iteration of the game. Right now, this game is the most taxing the play. And I will go to war with anybody, any of the old heads that sit there and tell me that in the 80s and the 90s, the game was so much more physical. And I'll tell you, they know how much the guys run. Right, they have the data. They've never had the advanced data the way they do now. The guys run so much more. And the level of skill in the game today, and the level of shooting in the game today is far beyond what we saw in the late 80s or the 90s or my god, the 2000s where it was dumped the ball into the post and everybody just stand at the three-point line. That was not a taxing style of play, even if they allowed more physicality. I won't debate anybody on that. And I actually agree, I can't fight you on it. And then the last one here, we're going to talk about Magic City, which is A, which it was supposed to be a promotion run by the Atlanta Hawks. And now this was in homage to a famous gentleman's club down there in Atlanta. Allegedly, it has really good wings,

8:10but it did get canceled by the NBA because of Luke Cornetti's first center spoke out against it. I don't know where you draw the line because in mind of the baseball, I have a little bit of a visual aid here for those of you watching the YouTube stream. He brought the shirt with him. This is a, this is a T-shirt. He brought the shirt with him. The club's center in front of the camera. Let people see this. There's cameras right there. Yeah, put it up there so they can see. You're probably putting it up too high, put it right in front of your face. There you go. So that is the Missouri River motorboters, which was a rebrand of the team called, in the Northwoods League called the Bismarck Larks. Where do you draw the line there? Well, if you're going to go first off, it's supposed to be family entertainment. So I don't know what you're doing with that name. But if you're going to do it, I asked you before the show, what did they do between innings? It was just a huge rebrand. It wasn't anything special in between innings. It was just a big rebrand that they just it kind of just broke the internet all summer. If you're going to buy, I didn't hear about it, and I'm the purveyor of the internet, so I would know. If you're going to do it, don't you code the whole way?

9:10I know why you're called the motorboters. I know why. You can put a pontoon boat up on that shirt all you want. We all know what you're doing. And if you're going to do it, you go the whole way. So you either do pontoon boat or motorboat racing type of things, or you do the other thing. Or pontoon boat in the shape of other things. Then you really have to double on Tondra. There you go. You have a regatta out there in center field or something like that. Like you have to go the whole way. You just say we're the motorboters. When they say they canceled it. So what T.I. was supposed to perform? Is he not performing now? Like you could still have him perform. You can have whatever you like. You could still have the food. Right? The wings. You could still put the wings there. You're just taking the label off it. I didn't know that this was a gentleman's club. Oh, and it land. It's famous, right? Like everybody down there knows exactly what it is. I mean, I didn't know what it was. Actually, Darryl was the one who told me about it. Darryl wanted us to talk about it. Owen Convouch, when Darryl was in, he absolutely wanted to talk about this. Darryl had a very, very peculiar interest

10:10in wanting to talk about this. I wonder why I will leave that to Darryl. Yeah, I am not a... This is like a minor league thing that's invading the NBA. And look, there are certain NBA markets that are not the calves, that they don't fill up every night. There isn't the enthusiasm every night. I mean, look at the Pelicans crowds. There are some teams that could use some minor league viral marketing. I can't blame them for trying to, you know, they're paper in the room way too much to begin with. So they probably like to sell some more tickets. So why not get creative? So last time you've been to a gentleman's club? Probably last time I was in Vegas. I haven't been... It's a bachelor party. Yeah, I haven't been to a gentleman's club. I mean, my wife ruined him for me. I told you that story. In Myrtle? I told you that. I didn't tell you guys. Oh, you've told us that. Okay.
