Abortion is the solution, not the problem | Zsófilter #s04e05

Dr. Christian Fiala is the medical director of Gynmed Clinic in Vienna and he has been helping women with abortion access and contraception for over 30 years. Many Hungarian women visit his practice to avoid the restrictive laws that shame women for making decisions about their own lives.

We talk about governments’ long history of patronizing women in their decision to control their fertility freely and the progress we have made in Europe in the last decades. Dr. Fiala clears up myths about the safety of abortions, the so-called „heartbeat” issue, the nonsensical arguments about when life starts and what the real reasons are why women choose to terminate pregnancies.
