Abdul Carter Switches Jersey to Number Three

The third overall pick from Penn State in the 2025 NFL Draft is switching his jersey from number 51 to number 3 next season. That matches his draft spot perfectly. As a rookie last year, he racked up four sacks and 43 tackles over 17 games. Carter first asked for number 56, but it's retired for Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor. He also went after number 11, retired for quarterback Phil Sims. Phil okayed it at first, but his family said no in the end.
