Aaron Rodgers' Steelers Future Uncertain

They lost in the first round of the playoffs both times in 2024 and 2025. They're often stayed middling about leak average and points but in the bottom 10 for total yards. That has some fans and analysts pushing for the team to part ways with Rodgers this off season given his age and career stage. FS1 analyst Willie Cullen pushes back hard arguing Rodgers stabilized the flawed setup and got them into the playoffs. Without him, Cullen says Pittsburgh would have missed out entirely. Rodgers went 10 and 6 as a starter and played above average overall. Still, he faltered against top defenses and playoff squads, managing just one win and five tries with a 70 pass rating. Heading into his age 43 season, his 22nd in the NFL, any drop-off or injury could derail the Steelers. They barely scraped into the postseason last year, leaving little room for mistakes.
