A34 Bypass Crash: 3 Vehicles Collide, Road Reopens

0:00On April 2nd, a serious crash shut down the A-34 Hanforth Winslow bypass yesterday around 2.15 pm. Three vehicles collided, with one flipping onto its side, right near the Hanforth retail park. Police closed the road in both directions, causing major delays all afternoon, especially around the Manchester Airport Eastern Link Road. Nobody got trapped, but firefighters and paramedics checked four people at the scene. Three headed to the hospital, just for precautionary tests. Crews made one vehicle safe by pulling the battery, then handed things over to police who managed the rest. Traffic's flowing again now, but drivers should stay alert on that stretched safety first out there.
