It's my little buddy, Kelly, Bidlett, everybody. On this Friday morning, Friday's always have a different feel to it. Yes, they do. Maybe it's because it's Steve Fesik, Fesik Fridays later on. Everything that's on his mind, sports betting wise, we will talk college baseball with our buddy Matt Grissom from college baseball insiders.com. On the show today, Jordan Sherwood, our buddy to talk UFC 326. A lot of buddies. And a whole bunch in between. No Fesik today, though. I don't even know, no Felica today. He's traveling.

2:08I should probably ask Dr. Bob, if he wants to come back on, I'm just thinking out loud right now after his triumphant return yesterday. Drake hit. Did those other two that he gave that weren't official picks it as well? I don't know. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. Not sure. We will do. Are we sure a little later on? And today, I don't want to say one thing's a highlight over anything else, but in what has become a bit of a tradition around here. This is the earliest we've ever done this. You ready? Baseball monthlies. Baseball monthlies. Go, man. Good on Caesars getting them up here in town. Caesars way to go. Nobody else up. It's for God's sakes. It's March 6th. What we hear hard rock, Adam up, right? Hard rock, Adam up first, then Caesars. But here's the thing. So the season starts a little earlier this year. The normal starts March 25th. And then lots of games on March 26th. So it's a March April market at Caesars, not just April. It's the remaining games that be, you know, the first games that begin in March, if you will, a handful of games. And then the whole month of April and Caesars remember dead heats, which isn't my favorite thing in the world. Yeah.

3:14But they're up and thank you, Eric Bigeo for letting us know they're up. I have a play. I'll tell you what we'll do because last. So here's the brief history. We've done this for two years, six months each, right? First, first month, we did it one out of way from hitting a 65 to one. The worst beat I've ever had in my life. Maybe the worst beat I'll ever suffer in my life. Month number two, one win away. Month number three, we hit it. Houston Astros, 15 to one. And then Kelly, after three months, I said to myself, God, I'm so smart. I'm so good at this. I'm either at the top. I either win it or I'm right knocking at the door. Guess what's happened the last nine months, not even close. Yeah. Last three months of that year and then six months last year. But here's what happened last year is I would give the teams that I almost picked right in the team that I want. So we're going to do that today because the teams that I almost pick, they get home. So we're going to do it that way. Three, two, and one, the one that I actually bet. I'll never forget when we started doing this because I was like, hey, go. I'm just saying this. Barn again. I was like, check it out. But why was the one who discovered the day before the season? I was like, I got nothing to do, but check baseball marks. I'm like, what's this as Stevie Fessick would say?

4:19Dug it to it. Yeah, you got close to that first one. It's just been close. One out of way. Oh, I don't even actually see these. What was that guy's name? Victor, Victor T. What was his name? Victor Tini for the Astros. I hate you. Hate you so much. I don't even see these up in order. I can actually right now. Maybe I'm in the wrong location. Todd Bubblehore, what's letting me know that Dr. Bob easy three. No easy three. Oh, yesterday with his with his filter that he gave yesterday. So what I'll do is I'll give three two and one of the one that I actually bet is one. And I already like my three and two better. I'm just gonna say that right now. All right. Let's do it in this order because we have obviously we have bad news to report on tankable lose of the streak finally ended, but we'll just I'll give the tennis picks first. Real quick. Yesterday I split. Zach went two and one. Zach of the one that we were up on Zach one. I split one and one. It was a wash for me. The tournament begins today. Let's just be honest. It begins today. I'm not only because I'm going to say you'll be out there, but it begins today. I like love these. This is two on the lady style. Two on the lady side. I'm on Anastasia, Zacharova plus 179 versus Emma, Radokanu. This is really a fade of Radokanu.

5:28Well, I don't think should be this big of a favorite over anybody. And Zacharova's hardcore numbers are good. And then McGurll, Alexander, Yala, Philippine, a sensation against Diana, a Stremska. I'm going to fade your Stremska twice here in a row to no avail the first time going with the Yala. I think that price is way too low at minus 122. Really good hardcore numbers plus 170 against Alejandro David Vichvikina, who has seen better days. I don't know if that guy's ever going to win a tournament. He's only 26 years old. David Vichvikina. Yeah. Yeah. I just googled him expecting that to say like 32 because I feel like he's been playing forever already. Yeah. Drew Zach and I were like, I was not the three of us. But I sent to them last night because I was watching a random Mackie Mcdonald match. I'm like, you know, we have an idea what Mackie Mcdonald's career earnings are. No, I don't know who that is. Mackenzie Mcdonald. Seven million dollars on the tour.

6:28There's just like, there's so many of these guys. I'm like, boy, this guy made seven million on tour. All right. So those are the tennis plays. We'll review them later in the, we'll repeat them later in the show. Take up a loser. We have a loser last night, finally in our fifth try on our 18th leg. Yeah. The league is like you won't go 18 legs on us. Young Gil will not happen. We lose. First of all, it was drama early. The magic. Did you see that outcome? Apparently Cooper flagger, nor Clay Thompson got the tanking memo. And the magic with the dramatics at the end to beat the Mavericks by one that goes, you know, again, the minus one and a half folks that those who want to get frisky with their, with their parlays into the minus one and a half would have lost on that. We get by that heat easily win. And then it came down to the bulls and the sons and like the sons were down double digits. It felt like we're like nine points anywhere between seven and nine points felt like the whole ball game. And you're like, well, we're going to lose. And then all of a sudden at the end, the sons make this unbelievable run. And I believe had a layup to go ahead with four seconds left if I'm not mistaken. And it does not fall.

7:35And we lose first one. So we're still four and one up plus 2.52 units. We will resume this next week, because there's only two really tanking legs tonight. So I'm not going to play anything tonight, but we'll resume this next week again. Another month of this. I had the, I went even less. I went heat and just heat and sons. So that part stunk, but otherwise was really good night in the NBA with spurs made it easy. That was an easy winner. Denver getting home. That was good. So yeah, little annoying, uh, Phoenix sons, but man, you know, we talked about Chicago Bulls. They're, uh, they're just, they're just one of these teams, man. They completely rehauled that entire lineup. It's just like, you don't really know where you're getting almost amongst all these teams. They're, they're maybe the most confusing to me. They are in certain way too, as we are tears. They're the one team. All these eight teams that we've been tracking. Have these monster streaks of losing either consecutive or, you know, 16 of 18, that kind of thing. And usually their wins are against other tanking teams. The Bulls are the one team where their wins are against non-tanking teams. Right. So it's a little odd with him. And like, you know, we can't, we're not going to stay here and go through every, what, what we think each team's exact motivation or, or plan in the standings of where they like to be at is, but like Chicago, it's like they're going to catch that you know, they're going to, you know, likely end up with the number one pick. Yes, it's a lottery. Yes, they could, but they are well behind some of these other teams over talking, uh, talking about 26 wins on the season. I wanted to bring something up with you. So we're all

9:01also tracking the MVP race. Obviously, rookie of the year, um, Victor Wimbledon, Yama speaking of MVP. He was just so good. Oh, monster last night, like every second of that game. Um, Wimbledon, Yama just, what was it? 38.16 boards. Oh, how about five blocks as well. In the spurs, 121 to 106 win over the pistons, Cooper flag, by the way, in his return for rookie of the year followers, 18 points, six assists, five boards, four blocks. Again, he didn't get the tanking memo. Um, but as far as MVP is concerned. So this is just the updated numbers, the best price you can get these six guys at. Again, games played by the player, games played by the team. And then in the final column, you'll see the players, uh, the games that the player can afford to miss and the team's remaining games. So Shay, just use the top example. Shay can still afford to miss five more of the thunders remaining 18 games. Nicola Yokich can miss one more of the nuggets 19 remaining and so on and so forth with all those, right? This, you know,

10:01what this has done accidentally beyond just following the MVP market. This has let all of, well, I'll just say it for me. I'm like, say, everybody know, this has let me know beyond a shadow of it out that load management is bull crap. Can I say that? Is that a lot of be said on there? Yeah. I believe so. Yes. You know, I said it. Because, right? Nicola Yokich knows that he can only miss one game to get above the or to to meet the 65 game minimum. And this dude has played consecutive games. He is not going to miss more than one game down the stretch because he wants to qualify for this. So it proves load management is nonsense. It's just this created thing. When they want to play for any reason that's worth their while, they play. Same is going to be true of Victor. Same is going to be the biggest is going to show is Shay. Shay is only going to miss. Right. Abdominal injuries are notoriously pesky. He's going to be managed for the injury, but not

11:01beyond the 65. So so it really does call into question. I'm going to say it's complete bunk, but it really does let you know. Oh, okay. I mean, when you guys want to play for some reason, your personal MVP award possibility. Oh, you're quite capable of playing. Yeah, I mean, look, it's something we always kind of we just do, right? Cause guess what? NBA players 20 years ago didn't need to do this one of these guys. Oh, these as I've said many times. Look at Michael Jordan's right. Yeah. So like we kind of always knew that a little bit. But like I think it's. Yo kitchen. You know, it is today's NBA, right? Like the load management. And yes, you rest players. You want them for more key games. Like the stats have been bumpy with you. I mean, he has to have a major turnover problem. Like some of these. I do think he came back probably a little too early. But still they're playing them. Right. Just don't play. Yeah. Still playing. I cannot argue that part. So I'm just saying that's like that's like this. This side of this parenthetical aside to all of this where it's like, oh, by the way,

12:01load management being proven. I mean, it's one of those like, yeah, yeah, it is killed. Like as Yoke, Yoke would have missed it already. Cause in my opinion, this is what I believe exactly. He came back to early. So he would have missed it. He would have missed it. If this didn't exist, he would have he would have sat many times since then. And then a great example would be a game tonight to after we just went over what Victor Wemba Niyama did last night put to place 39 minutes in that game. He's going to be right back out there right back out there against the Clippers tonight. Yep. Lippers Clippers. Yeah. So I don't want to hear it. I want to hear all the players today. They they run, you know, collectively, if you track their movement on a basketball court versus back in Michael in MJ's day, they move much more. Okay. Yeah. But if that, apparently if they have an award available to them, the possibility that it goes out the window, load management, and schmoge management as my mom used to say, I also think it's me and you're just like slowly falling more and more in love with the 65 game rule, right? I know you have a list of your top fascination sports wise, but this is your number one in life right now. I didn't really expect the reaction that I've gotten on it. Kelly Bidlin fascinating. I think he's correct. Fascinated by the fact there's a kiosk and Uber kiosk at the M and your question is who in the world would use this kiosk?

17:29Who doesn't? Don't you have an app for Uber? Who would go to a kiosk? Everybody has a cell phone. Everybody has a cell phone. When does this ever going to come into play? And Steve Fesik goes, oh, when your cell phone dies? We've got a lot of smart answers. We're really designing products for like a wet adjusting case your cell phone dies. I might as well have a Venmo kiosk or something like that. You would have texted back and forth. It's crazy. It's crazy. I got a couple of people like I don't know why you think it's so weird. It's like like just things can be weird and move on. It just move on with your life. It's okay. Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time this year, MLB most wins March, April, Caesars March, April. Now again, Caesars rules through the last couple years has been dead heats. So if you end up with the same number of wins as your team that you bet with another team, dead heat rules apply. Circa, when they do them, they have tie breakers. I kind of prefer no offense Eric Bischo over it. See, they kind of prefer the circuit thing, right? Because the tie breaker is fewest losses is the first tie breaker on it.

18:32So I like that. But they don't have theirs up yet. Caesars first to first to market here in town anyway. Hard rock apparently had him yesterday as well. So just just a glance at the odds. Most wins March, April. Great way to stay locked into a baseball season. Now let's be on a six months. Most casuals be sort of sloggy about it, right? They're like, oh boy, six months. You know, their attention goes in now. But monthly's keeps you locked in, keeps you locked in. Dodgers, of course, are the short shot plus 250. And quite frankly, they ought to be. But this just in, you shouldn't bet the dodgers at plus 250. What are we doing if we're doing that? Just let's not do that. They're the team that has the season went a little bit 102 and a half. I'm sure you've heard of them in the World Series champions. They're appropriately priced, I would say. Maybe not quite that low. They shouldn't be, but, you know, they should be the short shot. Okay. So what's that fairly well known? Fairly well known. Fairly well known team.

19:32Okay. So first thing I do here is I just wanted to, and I do this for every month is how many games does each team play in the given time period? Usually it's a month, but again, this one's March April. So when it comes to the first part of the season, it's pretty uniform. But I just want to flash this up on the screen. There are 10 clubs, a third of baseball that play 32 games March April. Again, the season starts March 25th. That's why they during the March April thing. It's scissors. Most teams play 31 games, four teams only play 30. Now it's seasoned with this dead heat. It's simple. More games you play. The more opportunities you have to win. At circuit, this can sometimes be reverse thinking, because again, the tie-breaker's fewest losses. So sometimes having fewer games by like one or two, ain't the worst thing in the world. But it's easier to just, you know, the more the better. So, you know, what's the first thing I usually do? The first thing I usually do is I go to the bottom of the league. I'm like, all right, who gets the Rockies and the National is the most, right? And that was, you know, I did that exercise and, you know, there's a few teams that has been your normal exercise.

20:37That's been my normal exercise. I've done it every time. Like, who's the worst team? Who's got that most on the schedule? Go from there. You know, the, the Padres, for instance, play the Rockies seven times in their 30 games. The Dodgers have seven combined games against both the Rockies and the Nats. The Phillies have six combined games against the Rockies and the Nats. The Mets finish with six games combined against the Rockies and the Nats. So there's a bunch of these teams where you're like, okay, cool. But I'll tell you who I landed on Lama. Do this. I'll do the third choice and the second choice who I didn't bet. And then I'll give you my number one choice, which I did bet and had a lot to do with the number. Which again, I may live to regret because my third choice is a second choice. Probably you're probably going to buy for it. Choice number three was the Detroit Tigers didn't bet them. But at 14 to one, the Tigers have 32 games. They're among that 10 teams that have the most games to play.

21:42You see, once again, as I just mentioned with the Tigers, the 32 games there. And if you, you know, the Tigers have an 85 and a half win total by the way themselves, probably good to know that too about the team you're thinking of betting on where they're supposed to be just sort of season long. But the 32 games, the problem Kelly is that 12 are at home and 20 are away. Now that might not seem like a big deal to some, but if you do baseball numbers, you know, through the years, it matters if you're playing at home or away. It really does. So to have a small 32 game sample size, even though you've got the most games incrementally by one or two games over other teams, only 12 are at home and 20 are away. Now if you do the average season win total though of all their collective opponents. It's pretty low, pretty low 75.09. So the Tigers were an absolute consideration, but the home away thing took me away from it. So they were choice number three, but I didn't pull the trigger at 14 to one. I would have wanted a bigger number on them. Okay.

22:42Choice number two. And this is the one that I may regret not play. The New York metropolitan. This one jumped out to me when I was reading over your stuff. They're 11 to one. I think they're 10 to one. Now I think someone already bent them down to 10 to one of them. I was taken. They have 31 games, which is, you know, right in the middle of the most games to be played. Not the highest with 32. I got 31 games. 18 are home 13 are away. And remember the meds supposed to be a 90 and a half win team. That schedule average win of opponent average season win total of opponent on this 74.23 even less than the Detroit Tigers. And they close with that six win the six game flourish against the Rockies and the net. Yeah, even if you do the nine game. Let's throw the Twinkies in there. They close with a twins Rockies Nationals flourish all at home. So if you're if you're going to bet the meds here. The the path is let's just bank wins. And then we've got that closing stretch. Good luck to the rest of you.

23:47Yeah, like, you know, obviously Dodgers Cubs will be tough serious on there. So it's like really these first five are almost the designers, right. Part of the why I didn't play the meds ultimately was not only because the price wasn't quite as high as I wanted it to be. But because the hardest opponents are all on the road as well. Right. So it's like you got nine will throw the giants in there. Right. Because they're red round 500. But giants Dodgers Cubs all on the road. So I don't know. There's a lot of wins there for the meds. And if you bet the meds. I've got no problem with it. And because I'm not playing it probably wins the team that I ended up picking. This was even a surprise to me. It feels like those series against the pirates A's those types of teams will be the deciders because I jury still out on those teams a bit. Right. I picked the Cincinnati Reds at 35 to one. Most wins March April. They play 31 games like the meds 18 are at home 13 are in the way are our way. Reds are supposed to be a 500 team 81 and a half season win total. Thing with the reds though by the way is they don't with the exception of the red socks first three games.

24:52They don't play anybody over 500 except the Rangers and the Tigers the rest of the way the average season win total of their opponents collectively is even lower than everybody else 73.84 wins. And I happen to think the red socks are going to be overrated this year. So for me. It's a lot of a lot of opportunity for a red team that has a sneaky good rotation in my opinion at 35 to one. I could not resist. That is my March April at Caesars. So again, if you bet the meds, I'm not going to argue it. I like it. Okay. UFC college baseball will do it all next on a numbers game right here at BC. A numbers game on fee said these sports betting network back on the numbers game. Gill Kelly Kelly. You know, I love betting other sports. You know, I'm much I love betting tennis. There's something about betting baseball. Just takes me back. Oh, yeah. Feels feels different from everything else.

So I'm going to roll the dice here and take the road team to get the Friday not win. But much like I was talking about last week. Just handicap the series in and of itself. So if, if they lose game one, then you know to bet on Saturday or Sunday.

32:07I know it takes the stones to be able to do it. But like I said earlier, Florida Gulf Coast lays an egg Friday night with their star playing. But then they win Saturday, Sunday. All right, let's get to conference futures teams to make the college world series. You have some thoughts on both subjects. Let's start with conference futures. Yeah, so we're in the kind of the lull in between where big 12 and SEC start conference play. It's almost like the equivalent of week three in college football where you've gotten the opening weekends out of the way of the exciting matchups. And now you've got Alabama playing Norfolk state or something like that. But there's still some value here on the on the conferences. And I assume that draft Kings will take them down. You can get wait for us 10 to 1 right now to win the ACC again, ACC play starts today. So not sure how long will keep these up throughout the season.

33:12But they get to avoid North Carolina and North Carolina state. They get Florida state at home. I've talked Kelly about being how I'm the seminals and the bet them to win the ACC. I don't think it's a bad idea to go ahead and grab weight to it 10 to 1 to the number two team in the country in Sierra for the team at 2 13 and their number 25 and weighted runs created at 128. So what that essentially means is of all the ACC teams. There's a lot of parity. I'm going to put my faith in the team with the best starting pitching. Because that's who's going to give you the best chance of winning these series as the season progresses. Now the conference tournament bet that you can make right now. This is just regular season only. So wait for us 10 to 1 to win the regular season in the ACC. Like there's value there. And then a team that really just came on the radar for most people with Southern Cal. Their pitching staff has three legitimate aces and Mason Edwards Grant Govel and Andrew Johnson.

34:17They just absolutely demolished Cal Poly in a four game series this past weekend. They're one of the only undefeated teams them in Texas. And they have the best pitching staff in the country right now, especially the starting three. So plus 650 to win the big 10. I know everybody's high on this UCLA offense and rightfully so I just don't trust the pitching staff. So if you're going to give me the third best odds for a big 10. It's going to come down to USC UCLA and Oregon. I'll I'll go with the best pitching staff and then still Texas 4 to 1 when the SEC still like that. This is the most complete team in the country. They've got just a three headed monster in their starting rotation. There's a reason why they're still undefeated. And I feel like I keep saying it on repeat. The pitching staff is what I'm going to anchor everything around. They're 11 to 1 when the college will series. I think you're looking at a UCLA Texas final.

35:20LSU still a short shot on draft Kings. I don't really understand why they're talented. Yes, but are they the best team in the country? Absolutely not. And I even make them top eight. I think they miss Omaha altogether. So shop around, look for Texas any which way make the college world series to win it all or to win the regular season in the SEC. So Texas to make and to win. Yeah, I like every way you can bet Texas right now. Okay, they Friday through Sunday. They have a stud that's going to give you five or six outings and a lineup that is salty enough to outscore anybody. Plus 120 right now just to make the world college world series. Widely available or just available in some shops. What are we looking at these great question. I'm looking to draft Kings. Because if you look at a lot of kind of stats like I do and wins and net ratings over a recent, you know, recent period, it is going to be drastically different if you go and look at who they've actually played. Tough schedules versus easy schedules with some of these tanking teams in fall. So yeah, I like the Hornets tonight. Late and six and a half with them. Seven, seven, seven. Seven and a half out there right now. I think seven is perfectly fine. And then the one much smaller bet for me. I took a little bit of the plus eight with the Clippers tonight against the Spurs. I have the, this Spurs team has been awesome. I have bet them a lot recently. This felt a little heavy though. This is going to be three and four back-to-back situation for the Spurs. Their second came back home after that kind of long rodeo road trip that they're always on every single season. See if that affects them. We always talk about how these guys got to get home and get acclimated and all that stuff. No Garland for the Clippers tonight. John Collins questionable. We brought it up earlier. I totally expect him to play.

44:40But 39 minutes for Wembee. Does that affect things at all tonight? Maybe. We'll see. Just, I just can't fully get to this number being seven and a half eight. Clippers four and three since the all-star break with a plus ten point four. Net rating. They have beaten up on some bad teams too though. So small bet on the Clippers bigger on the Hornet's night against the heat. Do you see the statistical WNBA NBA thing that happened last night? Don't do the 100 plus or the 100 plus wins and losses. But NBA, we never really talk about this and how about talking about it here towards the end of the season. Most regular season wins. Thunder minus 600, Kelly. And right now, of course, if you, if you look at the NBA stage, by the way, the thunder probably going to get over their season win total of 62 and a half. If all goes well here down the stretch, but the fact that we're going to talk, that we even have to bring up that as a possibility. Remember, they were trying to break the record at one point. We thought it was 74. Anyway, thunder currently 49 wins leads the NBA. But they only have 18 games left. Again, more games left. The better opportunity you have here, obviously. Pistons are next in this market. So thunder is a minus 600. Pistons at plus 550. Remember, thunder have 49 wins currently. Pistons have 45 for a win's shy. Though they have,

46:40ready for this, they have three games more left to play than the thunder. If I'm looking at this correctly. We're going to have 15. Yes. Pistons have three extra games. So really on their racket, if you will, potentially there only one win behind the thunder. And they're plus 550. Spurs are 11 to one. Spurs right now have 45 wins. They've played two fewer games than the thunder has. And then the Celtics next. A thousand to one. Celtics have 41 wins. Good luck with that. I'm going to guess you want to play the pistons at plus 550. No. You want to play the spurs at 11 to one. Yeah. Yeah. The spur. I mean, this was yesterday, obviously this game last night between pistons and spurs shifted this market a bunch. You had yesterday, thunder were minus 475. Pistons plus 425. Spurs 14 to one. I mean, the spurs are half game back from the pistons. You're three games back from the thunder. Like you brought up more games.

47:41What? Two more games to play than, I guess, than the thunder one less than the pistons here. Correct. I think Detroit has the flaws that people have pointed out of why they're scared of Detroit in the playoffs. I think they're completely valid. And I'm on board with that as well. I think also it leads to just some games like we saw last night. You don't have, you don't have consistent secondary scoring options to lean on to get you home with Kate Cunningham's having an off 90. You had a good night last night. Spurs are just a terrible matchup for the Detroit pistons. But it's, this is mainly about what the spurs have done in looking at schedule. So Oklahoma City. One of the toughest remaining. 535 aggregate, Widen percentage of opponents. Second hardest remaining schedule in the league. And like I just statistically, this first team has been the second best team in the NBA since January 1st. I think 11 to one is completely alive in those markets. Maybe some of my ads. San Antonio 11th easiest remaining schedule. Pistons 5th easiest remaining schedule based on opponent. Aggregate Widen percentage. Down the stretch.
