The numbers told the story now is down. Swandles idiots who believe in athletics. This is a numbers game with Kill Ivox after Convison. Our number two of a numbers game at Veece and these sports betting network Veece.com Game Plus, Ihard Radio, YouTube, TV, and of course, Series X of Channel 158, Skill Alexander. Kelly Bill and producer number nine, so much more than a producer in the house. Were without Danny Higgins today? Can y'all tell? Oh my God. You know what? No, I don't think they can yet, but but I can tell. Oh, it's coming. I can tell. Everybody's feeling it these days. Danny, if we have not made a big enough deal of it over the past what seven months now, eight months, Danny has made a major positive impact on the show. That is. I think he, when he's gone, I have to get up earlier, do more. The crew's got to do a lot more. Shout out to the crew because they always step up and do it willingly and with a smile on their face. However, I did detect a tone today, Gil, of like, of, you know, joking tone of this is Danny's job. This is Danny's job. Why am I doing this?

Am I doing this? Oh, from the crew. We got real soft in the past seven months is my point. Yeah. Numbers game brought you by Profit X, Dalek Kuff coming up, JVT coming up, and of course, Steve Fezick. Steve's got a lot on his mind. In fact, he's got so much on his mind, he just texted us something and we don't even know what he means. Yeah. He's text. The man doesn't use his thumbs. So I don't know. So now in English, Steve, maybe text it that way. He's coming up on the show. Can't wait for that. We get, we get tweets to be the book. Have I mentioned that you guys are the best listeners in the game, LFC title records. In regards to Holloway, I'm going with crazy ex-girlfriend as the tipster. Have you ever heard the Sam Kinnison story about his ex packing his bag before a flight? Oh, no, I have not heard that story before. I got to know where that's going though. Not heard that story before. String fellow hawk. String from the course. Three new listeners. Air Buddy String fellow hawk. Listen to the show. He's out on a golf course. And those three guys, he's got them listening to our show as well. Thank you, String fellow. Hope you're having a good round. My dad was quite angry with me as a child one's guilt because when we were moving from Alaska

to California, okay, I thought it was a real good idea to pack up every toy gun I had into a backpack. Bring it onto the airplane. That didn't go to over too well, but I'll tell you that much. Toy gun wheel. That Bidlin was thrown up against the wall. It was there. I'll try to figure out what he was trying to do. By the way, your mom is lovely. What was my line? What was my line to you? I was like, how'd you get mixed up with that old fat Bidlin? I said, that rascal, man. Chance Copperpot. I'm down to my last survivor entry. I'm in fourth place and a couple points back as I play out all the combos. The only three teams playable for me today, Duke Yukon or Michigan State. Tough one. Chance, if you're up at the top, I understand that those are your three choices. Fake follower. You're listening to you talk about tonight's college basketball games. I went to look for Duke St. John's quickly to place a bet. It's not there. Oh, yeah. I live in New York. So we can't bet the game. Why is this possible? Did he think how bribe you say, do they think, oh, is this St. John's players are bribey? He says something like that. Oh, my God.

I don't know, man, with these antiquated things. Remember when you couldn't bet on UNLV games here in Nevada? Chris Flurry just cashed out my Michigan State bet. As soon as I heard your sidekick was on them, why you got to be mean to Kelly like that? There you go. Wow. Why, why you got to say that, Chris? That was two and one in college basketball. That's right. Documented. Right. Last name, Nash. It's all about results, crowd. It's such a new wave of betting mindset. Oh, he's talking about it from the tweet earlier. With Dr. Bob, the pick he gives out is less important than hearing the process and data he shares to get to the pick conclusion. That's why enjoy shows like yours for guests like Bob. Absolutely, Nash. Absolutely. Johnny Vegas, Yo, Gill and Kelly, wondering how you guys would handle these if you haven't been pocket. He's got parlays. We have to do that offline, Johnny. Ray in Texas. Hey, Gil, as a Paul skiing Sai Young ticket holder, one of the chances he gets his ERA down below 50 by the end of the year, hey, Kelly, today might be the day where you can slide into Livy's DMs. You might be looking for a new man.

That's right. Jump out, loser. He's going nowhere. Let me read one more. What a nobody. You guys are great. There's one more. Seriously, through your survivor run, drabking's offer survivor here in North Carolina. Oh, you got to listen to this. It was off to a good start with VCU Kentucky in Texas. Work took me to Virginia. I opened up my app to make my pick for Sunday, not legal in Virginia, entry up in flames. Was going to pick Tennessee. Oh, Daniel, that's brutal. And one more, Colin Murphy. I'm usually a result oriented person, but betting more than anything is about the process and Dr. Bob's breakdowns are superb. He gives you the info and you decide what you want to do with it. Do not cry if it doesn't get there. By the way, it also failed to mention his leans. We're all correct, right? It last night as well. He didn't bet them, but still. And David Newell, if you want to end tanking in the NBA, just pay the shared money. TV rights merchandising on a per win basis. Here's an idea. On and on to the break of dawn. I'll get to the rest of the tweets here coming up. Kelly, we do have a tank of a loser play tonight and I'm getting the, I just know this

that it's not going to be endorsed by you. I already feel the judgment. Oh. Well, you've got a way for taking the loser open. Guys, I don't hear. I'm going to be involved for some reason. How did tank of a loser become the hard rock themed? I don't know. A segment of ours. I don't know. Nice job by Rob Marino, by the way. It's a, I think I told Rob that we needed to break away from our, our, see how this first happened was with phasic Fridays. And I think this is when it started and I, and I told them I need like older white guy rock. Yeah. And then it just, and then it, and then it carried on for too many things that we were doing. So I think I told him to mix it up for this one. So that was the mix up. Can I interest you in a, you know what to the walls, seven leg tank up a loser party. Money and I brain dead parlay. Hey, look, it was, you know, it's only so much season left. Let's go for it here tonight already, but after we talked to Nick Whalen, I'm worried about the first leg of this.

But tonight is, it doesn't get, we thought the six legged was going to be the most. Well, tonight we'll set the record with seven. How about a clippers, thunder, rockets, nuggets, warriors, blazers, lakers, seven leg brain dead money line parlay against tanking teams to win 1.25 units. See, I have, I have every one of these written down as possibilities for me today, Gil, except for the Golden State Warriors. Okay. Oh, that's the one you did. Yeah. Okay. Well, clippers are taken on the Pacers who Nick just talked about, thunder, taking on the bulls, rockets, taking on the Grizzlies, nuggets, taking on the jazz, warriors, taking on the wizards. Come on. You got to beat the wizards. Blazers beating the maps or beating the maps. They're taking on the maps. I'm going to get ahead of myself and the lakers are taking on the nets. I'm a little worried about that blazers one too, but man, it's just because I've been watching way too much, way too much Cooper flag way too closely lately. And I need blazers, wind totals to get home.

So I will be rooting for that. I'm a little worried about that one, but no, I'm with you. I'm mostly, man. Again, if you're just tuning into the show, you're like, what is this? What are these people doing this? This is just something we have on going on the background, little, little bankroll builder in the background as we bet other things against NBA tanking teams. I might be, so I'm, I did bet. I thought Nick did a great job. I'm kind of doing the exact same thing he is today with the Celtics. I, I laid four and a half small with the Celtics, but as he noted, you got Jalen Brown. You got a couple guys that are currently questionable. I wanted to get ahead, but before it got to five, five and a half, where it mainly is right now, um, four and a half of your African still, though, we wanted to take a small piece that I might be adding on. And then I've got a lot of these circles to kind of add later today, Gil. I'm just waiting on more injury, like Lucas questionable for that Lakers game. By the way, we're sold short by the stats at the bottom of our tankable loser page. We are seven and four. The legs are 40 and five. And I will have you know, we are up 1.69 units, Kelly, Danny screwed it up, Danny, play

me. He's not even here. Oh, there we go. That is fault. Right guys? Yeah. Okay. So the other thing we have to talk about the real quick ears, because you know, we've been putting this up with this started because I made a bet on Victor women after my spurs to win it all in spurs, Celtics to meet in the NBA finals. I decided to go for the trifect and bet Victor women, Yama, 25 to one, I don't know, it's about a month ago for MVP. And it was 25 to one at the time. And then since then, and the reason for that was because Shay was missing games with an ad injury. And then it was like this, this interesting thing about the 65 game floor. And so we started tracking of the MVP candidates in the betting market. How many games left for their teams? How many games these candidates could afford to miss? And anyway, he got to the point where I'd say earlier this week, it was like, should I still be tracking this like the market says this is over? I don't know. Let's keep doing it. I'm glad we did. Shay now down to, these are the best numbers you can get for each.

You can. So Shay, the best number you can get is minus 700. You're like, well, it's still a big favorite. Yeah, but not when it was early in this week, where it's really crashed is on the other players. And now Victor, when, Yama, after stumping for himself, Kelly, the best number you can get for Victor now is eight to, these are draft Kings and Fandall. Eight to one at drafting. He's down to eight to one. Lucas best numbers, 15 to one at Fandall, Yoke, somehow, and I still don't understand this is 75 to one at Fandall. By the way, basketball, prospectus MVP tracker has Yoke, it's winning it. Now Tim Bond temps, Tim, good times, final straw poll coming out. Should be any day now. It's always right before the end of the season, we've got about nine games like I was looking the other day, like last year, I think it was on this exact date. So it's like real, it really any day now, I should be expecting and I heard them talking about it earlier this week that he was compiling it already.

So I am fascinated to know how that goes because I have contended that this betting market is not reflective of reality. That's my guess. I have the one by Yama ticket. At this point, I have no idea who's winning this. It's just it is. None. It is comical too, right? That you can have like whenby goes up there and says that and it drives this down that much. And you kind of see that like every year with some award, but you don't see it with a guy usually. You don't see it with a guy up there as big time as Victor, Wimbledon, Yama, talking about MVP. So the fascinating movement this week, I think we're still extremely live with him, man. I think Wimbledon is still extremely live. I don't think Luca that 15 to one, I don't think that's real. It just really don't mean I mean, I think yogurt has as good of a chance as he is. Oh, I agree completely. Yeah. Well, you said it yesterday. Yogic leads the leagues and assists and rebounds. Yeah. How many times has that ever been done? I'm going to say zero, zero, zero.

What are we talking about here? I real quick on some other award. So rookie of the year. Hey, guess what? Comkiniple finally showed up and had a big game last night after they've been playing them like 19 minutes of game. So I'm pumping the brakes on Cooper Flag. I'm not going to add more. I said yesterday I was going to probably buy off all my compositions, going to wait on that here still. But Cooper's been big. I can't wait. I did make a bet on Jalen Durin yesterday for most improved player. He had a massive, massive game for the pistons, 30 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists. It's getting more and more looks with Kate out. I think you'll get there with that. Watch Cooper drop 45 tonight for a few of the other. Let me get your attention real quick podcast listeners. It's March, which means the madness is officially upon us, of course. And the folks at Veecin have really gone crazy with this one. There is none higher. Gill Alexander, Kelly Biddle in here on a numbers game on a Friday morning, Dalin Cuff still to come, Steve Feseck still to come, and now a treat, because we really have them on the show these days, because the man is busy co-hosting typically, but this week hosting as the lead, the lead chair, the old money moves show, which begins not directly after ours, it begins after, after prop points, which is in between our shows. It's Jonathan Vontobel, everybody, at me, JVT on Twitter, JVT joins us now courtesy the progressive guest line. How you doing, John? I'm doing great. I am the number two on money moves. That's because all I do is that on my haters. How about that? Wow. I got that. Yeah. Wow. Okay. I mean, that's, look, I'll be honest with you, it is good in a sense of pride to amongst

the shows. Be up there for, you know, maybe competing for first, but there is no prize for us. I mean, I still have an old bet's giving belt that's just sitting in my closet right now. I mean, there's not at least one of those that we can get, maybe $10 to go get a free coffee at the jackpots. So pride is only on the line. So I'll be very honest, I'm in the circuit college hoops challenge as well. That is a solo endeavor, too. And I am just about a point and a half out of first. And last year, I was the only one who could catch Paul Stone going into the final four. My goal is to win that sucker. If I can win that as I have told our crew, I'm actually trying to poison the well here because if I get it, the reward is either $1,000 to berries or $1,000 comp of it a cabana. And I'm thinking the cabana and the crews invited. So all of these and should be rooting for me because then we all get to, of course, part take. So I'm very happy to potentially be the best show money moves. And I say, I, because stormy is in the Philippines. But I will very much be shooting for the circuit college hoops challenge. Hopefully. And that begins, of course, or some of you resumes today, we had a couple of plays

yesterday. That's my favorite part about this all kill. Like, you know, if we don't win, I'm now rooting for money moves to win just so stormy can come back and claim this tighter for the end of time, right? She shows up on a show. But last year we won. It's like, I'm amazing. By the way, we should also not make it all about ourselves. We should also shout out RO Malley and D Clark, who are both 24, eight and one through halfway through the sweet 16. They are in the overall pool of listeners. They are right now in the driver's seat. So by the way, if we figure out what the action points are, do we know what those are? Because we are killing. Somebody does points me and you Kelly and Dan, we are killing and whatever those are. We're great. What about that? I mean, is it, is it like closing line value, but they're stale line. So I don't know why we would get action points for that. I have no idea. No one can explain it to me. I have no idea. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, Mr. Man in second place. What he got tonight. So, okay. Well, this is the problem. Actually, we had somebody. Oh, man, I have to get his Twitter handle. I apologize. Somebody tweeted this and I think it's a very fairer.

I guess you can call it critique criticism. I do have some stuff, especially contest wise, but some of it guilt is we only have 11 picks left. And now fewer, of course, because of what's going on in the first day that I did a little bit of gamesmanship, but I also feel strongly about this to an extent. So we'll start with Duke, St. John's everybody and their mother or even my mom, as I made the joke the other day called me up and said, you know, I think the red storm are pretty live here today against the blue devils. I don't like the way that this St. John's offense works in the half court. It's abysmal. I thought against Kansas, some more competent defensive team that was playing off all five guys and just clogging the paint and not allowing this team to operate the way they want to when they're playing in the half court. And I think Duke's going to have the same recipe for them today. I think they're going to dare St. John's to shoot. And this is a team that on the season shoots 33% from beyond the arc. It's not really their game. And I think we're going to get another slow, disjointed effort from this offense from St. John's. The blue devils have gotten off to a rocky start so far, obviously in the NCAA tournament. Having said that, just because they didn't cover the first round, they did beat the crap on a TCU in the second round. They still have some upside on offense and they're still athletically enough defensively

to match up here with the red storm. So twofold here for me, the bet I really do like is under. I got under 142 and a half, but I still think under 141 and a half, if it's still available, is worth playing to the under for that game. And for the contest, I use Duke is my contest play for the circuit college hoop challenge. I am the only one of six handicappers on the blue devils. So my strategy did work. I figured that St. John's is going to be a popular play, but I do think that's actually the side. I used to dip, you know, it's at six and a half now if we get to six, I'll be on the blue devils today. I think that's the right side. Good for you though, for playing strategically in these contests. So nothing on any of the other games, you just feel like those lines are about where they should be. No, I should. I apologize because I forgot we have other games. Let's go Alabama, Michigan. I did take 10 with Alabama as well. So I got the best of the number there would also reiterate for audience. I think nine and a half is playable too. But I, one of the things that I think is going to happen here is we know what Michigan can be. They're a very dominant team. I don't think Alabama is going to stop them much. So if you wanted to play over the total, I think that's a playable number right now too. But one of Michigan's weaknesses is they do turn the ball over to pretty high rate and

conference play. They were floating around 12 to 13th and offensive turnover rate. And if you're going to give a team that relies on transition and opportunities like that as much as Alabama does, I do think that's going to allow the crimson tide to stay inside of that number. We also know, of course, how often they like to shoot the ball that could lead to some volatility. So I could be sitting on 10 here and it goes out to like 14 and a half in game because they get off to a cold start, but they can get right back into that thing as well. But I think 10 was just a little bit of a bridge too far, same with nine and a half. So I have the crimson tide, both in terms of an actual bet in the contest as well at 10. Are you with me at all on this? I feel like I'm the only person who cares about this. I feel like the outrage about the Holloway thing is not nearly amped up enough wherever it was like if it was a can boozer, nobody would stop talking about everybody would be talking about this. And I feel like we're just like, oh, well, it's Bama. So what is not going to happen, you know? Yeah. I mean, I would agree. Are you asking in the sense of like it is 2026 and like, we stuff is still a felony? Yes. Yes. That's part of it. That's absolutely part of it. Yes. A hundred percent. It's ridiculous.

I'm with you. Yeah. And it has, you know, again, the team that had dreams regardless of how realistic we think they are. Just poof. Like, let me, let me take your first or second best player and just bounce him for this. There are some analysts who would argue really quickly that they are. It's not addition by subtraction, but that they are a higher upside defensive team without him. And so, I think you're overall points. Correct. Like, look, it's 2026 when we can get into the intricacies of marijuana in today's society blah, blah, blah. But at the very least from basketball standpoint, there is an argument to be made that maybe they're a little better defensively without him. And that gives them a fighting shot as we have kind of seen in a couple of these games. But I'm entirely with you in that, you know, take it this away, considering where we're at today with that. I think is as a little foolish. Right. That's a little like those saying, you know, Arkansas is better off without a cup because they're better defensively without him, right? Like, so, you know, well, I don't know what that means in the in the wash. All right. We do have 10 games in the association tonight. Do you play anything there? I mean, we allegedly have 10 games like 10 contests will be played, but there are a lot of big spreads today.

Yes, there are. Not the sexiest day. I will say this. So I got a couple of things. I went with the baseball series angle here. I laid four and a half early with the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was on with the Jack today on a numbers game or seeming a numbers game. This is a numbers game. Harbor handy cappers. We talked about this. The Cleveland Cavaliers played Miami just a couple of days ago in Cleveland, same situation here. But there's a second leg of a back to back. They came off of a pretty tight clutch game against Orlando where they needed some late time from time to the Mitchell to get that done. They go off and take a rest with their offense against a heat team that's been inconsistent defensively. Remember that win snapped the fighting losing streak for Miami. I think that they're going to get a little bit of revenge here. Market would seemingly agree. And I think Jared Allen should play today. So I do like them there, laid four and a half and it gets back down to like that five range and you generally always get by back on these NBA games. I would definitely look there. And then a spot be damned. It is the second leg of a back to back in the third game and four nights, but the Pelicans are youthful. And one of the best ATS teams in the NBA took eight with New Orleans tonight on the road against Toronto. Just a number that's too big by my measure, even with the situational spot baked in there.

So let's go Pelicans and we'll go Cavaliers today. Do you dip your toe into super early season baseball at all a little bit like I'm somebody that likes a lot of like the, you know, playing on those, you know, fifth differential stuff like that, getting some numbers out there to really bake up. But, you know, for example, I had some hope with my white socks money line play yesterday for about like an inning and a half and then Shane Smith coughed it up. So I'll play a little bit here and there, but I wait for about a maybe like a little less than a month to get some numbers out there. What is your prognosis on your cal, I was about to say California angels, your Los Angeles agency. Yeah. 162 and 0 is the pace. So I believe that that's probably what they will achieve at this point right now. I'll say this. I think Soriano's got some real strong upside and you saw that yesterday, obviously the fastball is working. His knuckle curves, awesome. They have some intrigue in the lineup as well. Shanoel wasn't great. If trout's going to stay healthy, which I don't really believe because he wants to play center field all season long again, I did bet over 70 and a half wins. I think they can get to like that 72 73 mark.

I don't know if they're going to get any farther than that, but the upside of the young pieces hit if Joe Adele continues to do what he did last year, who by the way, I took a little piece of 80 to one on him to lead the league in homers. Yes. I think they can at least push for like that 74 win mark. OK. In addition to money moves, you do pod to the future with Mitch, correct? How often does that come out? Yes. That comes out once a week every single Tuesday. And what's your story with hardwood handicapers, are you big timing them or are you participating in that? No. Once a week, I am on usually Thursdays this week was Friday. And I also do if we want a popman, you scratch my back one more time, local radio, ESP in Las Vegas. I do. We saw you down here doing some stuff while we were on air. Well, it's really good. John doing his other job. Yeah. For the locals, he's a fixture in the local radio station here at the ESPN in Las Vegas station. Thank you, John. We'll all be listening today on Money Moose, appreciate it. Johnathan von Total, everybody. Come back, Dalin Cuff. A numbers game on FESET, these sports betting network. Hey there, Kelly Bidley.

Halfway through the sweet 16 as we talked about at the top of the show, two really competitive games early last night, two thrillers, a lot of drama, and then two not so much Dalin Cuff is here to talk with us about everything last night. And all of his plays tonight in the sweet 16 from Turner Sports. He joins us now, courtesy of Progressive Guest Line.

You can follow him on Twitter at DalinCuff, that's D-A-L-E-N-C-U-F-F. What's happening, Dalin? Fellas good to be with you. Yeah, well articulated. Last night's game. The first two were exciting. And Purdue Texas game was great. Last two games. Not as entertaining. But I stayed awake. We were all locked in until the last whistle there. And by the way, isn't that I should probably start with this. I'm probably just going to start the show with this. This tournament never disappoints. It does it. Like it's just always awesome. It is. And that's the funny thing is, the conversation right now, there's a lot of Cinderella dead conversation. I'm going to use the word. It's diminished a bit. I think we're seeing this separation with NIL, the transfer portal retention at the top. You're keeping guys out of the NBA because you can pay them millions of dollars. You also pull in all the talent from the middle in the lower division one, which is unfortunate for some of the Cinderella stories. But I think ultimately the people want, and I think the ratings will reflect it. They did last year. You want an upset, maybe two, but when you get in the sweet 16, you lead eight in the final four. You want the big boys. Yeah. You want the big brands. You want the best teams. You want the best pros, the best coaches.

And that's ultimately what we have again with this tournament. I mean, that East Regional loan is all four of these coaches will end up being in the hall of fame. I believe, which is pretty bananas. Wood. Without a doubt, before we get to your picks tonight on the four games, what's your big headline from yesterday and all four of those Arizona's the team to beat? You shouldn't have four players on the court, you know? In crunch time. I don't know. What's the big takeaway? Yeah. I think we're, we love being prisoners of the moment in this, in our society, we love being hyperbolic. I'm not going to say any hyperbolic about Arizona, but they're really good. And I think they're, they've been the most consistent team all year. I've said that all season long. I think they're the favorites to win the championship in my mind. They showed that last night. But the hyperbolic piece of that is, and not being present moment. I've never seen, we saw last night. I've never seen a voluntary Norman Dale. My team's on the floor four guys with the games on the line. What the hell happened there? Like, I just don't know it. And honestly, I, I've not checked this morning. We're doing some solo dadding with a crazy two-year-old here. I've not had a chance to hear what Fred Hoyberg's explanation was about that, to be very

honest. Like, I've looked forward to tonight more than I thought about last night once it was over. But dude, I just don't know how that happens in that moment. And good identification in full-garris makes another big play. Yeah, I'm, you know, first of all, he's, what I heard from him was a blanket sort of. It falls on me. It's my responsibility. But as far as the nuts and bolts, you played college. Basketball, you played at Columbia. For those of us who've played basketball at any level, we kind of remember that going back into a game, a coach might, might say Smith, Johnson, Bidlin, Jackson and, and George, like, he'll name the five guys just to clarify, right? In your experience, what could have gone wrong there? I mean, an all honest, and there's so many times we're saying, you're, you're, you're here, unless we just did some sort of substitutions and, and okay, I was playing the two. Now I'm playing the three and I got to know that for offensive sets that my, my role is change or somebody's the four and who's the five. But in that situation, what I don't know and don't understand is was anybody ever sent to the, to the, to check in to actually substitute in. So why were the five guys that walked off the floor?

Because what you always do is, yo, I got you, I got you, right? That identification between players is always done. I have you, you got me, you know who you just, who just swapped out for you. I just don't know from like a real technical perspective. Did anybody go to the, go to the scores table, check in? If not, why did any of the five players on the floor think they were out? And if somebody said I got you, how on the hell would that guy then go sit back down on the bench? That would never happen. So I just don't understand the mechanics of how that went down. And honestly, it's a big moment. But when you walk back on the floor, there's a sense of awareness about you. And usually you're, you're, you're usually your point guard, the team leader. The looks around says, we missing a dude. Cause there's been times for us like, yo, we got six. Get off like what's cool? Like what the hell happened there? You don't know, but you identify it. I've seen it the other way where you walk out with six and like, you got to get off the floor. We got too many dudes. I don't think I've ever remember seeing it when you don't have enough, especially in a critical moment where you're playing with four. Yeah, by the way, for those who don't know, clarify where we're talking about Nebraska with 58 seconds left, taking on Iowa, Iowa was up by three. And Iowa had a one man advantage.

And they threw a touchdown pass, Fallon won. And that was kind of it at that point. The last thing about this, because I don't mean to belabor it, but I'm kind of fascinating is, is, is it your understanding that the referee has a responsibility to sort of count down? Absolutely not. Yeah, absolutely not. We used to have a play in high school, shout out to my high school coach, Joe Blasnall, I see psych high school. We would run out and we if we was our ball and between the first and second half, we would line up on the wrong side. And I would tell the ref, we got it, we got it. And the ref would point like, say, we're going to left. He'd point their ball going that way, but we would have our team line up first on the opposite side. The refs doing his job. He's signifying which way the ball is going. We've inbounded. I would say Mike, four year career, we got, I don't know, 20 points off of that. Off of an uncontested dunker layup by teams lining up on the wrong side. The rest how and no obligation to count your players to make sure you have the right people there, their obligations to get the ball in bounce. And if you don't want to walk out there with five, you want to go norm and Dale, you can do that. They don't need to tell you to fix it. Well, I think the takeaway from this segment is don't play organized basketball

with Alan. He's got some. Oh my God. That's great coach. You don't want to get the big moments because again, again, last thing because the ref does count for six, right? League count. It looks for six. Okay. She got too many. That's illegal, right? Because that's illegal. It's not illegal to have four. You can't live with more than five. That is a technique you can play with two if you want. Okay. To tonight's games, great games tonight. Obviously the two in DC, I would say are the headliners, Duke St. Johns, Michigan State, Yukon. Let's start with those two. What do you feel about those two matchups? I got the St. Johns at seven and a half, right? When it opened last week or when it when it when it turned, I guess minutes, after we knew that it was going to happen. Just because I think the physicality of this game, when you're pressing this team, that's the problem. An okay little foster coach said, you know, he might be able to go. Okay. That's good. That if he can go, but this is going to be a physically demanding game and their ability to press you and get up in you is problematic. And I do think there's a situation where when it's when it's just Kaden Booser, Dame Saur, Isaiah Evans, they aren't the greatest ball handlers.

Do you want this press? Do you want to deal with this? I wonder if they're going to have Cam Booser at times break, come back as a big and make it easier to break the press, but that also gets into his legs and can wear him out. How they handle the pressure, we saw Kansas turn over six or seven times, just getting the ball past the back court, which was crazy. But that's the kind of stuff it can do. And in the last part of the guard, it's not just physical, it could become mental. Every time the ball goes through the net, every time you take it out, you say, all right, here we go again, you got to get into your defender's body, you got to get open and a proper court part of the court, turn and face, and then back and forth with this guy. And that's not a fun dance to do for 40 minutes. So how they handle the pressure physically and mentally, can they flow into offense is critical. I really like St. John's with the number here. I think I think Duke wins the game. I don't know if St. John's going to make enough shots, but I think they're going to muck it up and make it ugly. The big thing should say this, how this game is being officiated is critical. If there are files called early in this game, you might want a live line Duke because St. John's is going to have to adjust the way they play. And that benefits Duke. We'll see how that happens and how the officiating plays out in the first six, eight minutes of this game. That's a great call, by the way.

I think that's great for it for in game, sort of a tip off there. Okay. And then you con and Michigan State may be the best of the bunch tonight. It's going to, I think it's going to be a bit of a slug fast. These two teams are built in the defensive side of the ball. They're both physical. Obviously again, like all they will all be in the Hall of Fame is already there and early will be there shortly. It's, it's a battle of who can make some shots. Who's guard plays better? You cannot be turning this ball over and both these teams that have issues with that at different times and who can make shots. It's simple to say that. But at times this is where both these teams have, have labor. They've gotten good looks, but can you make them? And I lean slightly to this one in Michigan State. I think that if if Demory is actually hobbled, I'm going to take fears of the best player on the floor and the guy that's going to the ball on his hands a lot to, uh, to be able to make plays for Michigan State late game. But I think this is going to be an interesting tactical battle, physical battle. And ultimately it comes down to, can you put it back? Could, can you put it into the net is the question? And I slightly lean towards party to the Midwest region. We have Alabama and Michigan, Alabama anywhere between eight and a half

and nine and a half point dogs at this point without Aden Holloway. And then the other game I should point out to people that off air, I told, I told down, I was like, I'm forced to take Tennessee and survivor and down's response was quote, unquote, uh, that's all right. I mean, I, I, I, I maybe I'm wrong for you, but for my money, I already, when I was state, uh, I think they would just without, even without Josh but Jefferson will see what he can do if he can go or whatever's going to happen there. Um, this team, but the, I think Tennessee offense was just too limited. They're too reliant on Gillespie. They're too prone to turn the ball over. I would say we saw what they did the Kentucky and then you're in a similar situation where when you see that defense, it's hard. They will be able to grind it. I think your hope here, Gil is, if Tennessee can really defend, so they can make it ugly and in, in Tennessee, and I would say it's not making shots and not turning it over at the level they need to. I could obviously, Tennessee can cover that four points. If that's the case, I just lean toward I was state being able to take care of business. Another game Michigan, I think that let's going to look like Arizona last night. Alabama's defense is not what it needs to be. Arkansas, we set it all year. There's more good enough defensively. Alabama, I don't think it's good enough defensively to keep these guys at

day. They can play up tempo. They can play in a half court. And obviously they are very hard to score against. I think they're going to make you, you make it, you know, shoot twos. Obviously, they're going to give, they're going to spread out. They're not going to give you threes Michigan. And I think if you get to the point of, you die more if you stretch them away from the basket. Maybe he's not there to rim protect, but they're going to make them finish at the rim and not give up threes. And I think Michigan ultimately is going to be going to be rolling in this game similar to how I was on a road last night. Dalin always appreciated always a blast, man. Thank you so much. Pleasure boys. Have a good one. You too. Dalin cuff on the cusp of the second half of the sweet 16 tonight. Steve Fesick on the other side. Kelly, now we kept the bets in between. You guys gave us a good real thrill last night. Brian Schaefer 31, Gil with the tank of Belusa with about less than 10 games left. Don't we have to be on a guard with some of these favorites? If they have nothing to play for if their seat is locked in.

Yeah, it's a good point. I don't think we're there yet, but yes, 100% trip. Tepper isn't the simple solution to only protect talking about tanking. The four conference finalists and just put the other 26 teams into the lottery. Yeah, you could do that. Johnny Ringo, can we get a relegation system police in the NBA? I think Fezick likes that. Paul E68. Are you relegating to them? Clearly the G league and then you're building up another league like that. Then you're bringing up the Tuscaloosa barnstormers or whoever. I mean, that's a pro. So that this is the Brian Rolap solution to the PGA tour, which I actually think that that makes a fair amount of sense, because you have many other golf tours. You can kind of make two level tours with the PGA tour. If you're going to shorten fields, I think the NBA, I don't, I don't, I don't know that that's an answer. Paul E68, after listening to the last NBA segment and tanking, adding two more teams should for sure help with all of that. I mean, this is the way it's absolutely right, Paulie. Oh, yeah, it'll be getting better for sure. LOL. That's what I said the other day.

I'm like, is this going to help the league? No, it's just going to dilute talent more. It's going to be awful. I mean, you have respect. You have silver in a room of people sitting around, thinking about what is the best way to get rid of this tanking issue and while ignoring the easiest ways to do that, which is reducing games and not adding teams, because that takes away money. Yeah. So they're never going to consider that. It's just, it's just funny to be like, all right, guys, what is the best solution to this problem? Just don't mention the most obvious ones. Chris of St. Bart's shout out to my buddy Brian, recent heart procedure and his first text to me was, did I miss any of Gill's tennis plays as tag priorities? Chris, please tell your Brian, your buddy Brian. Thank you so much. Then obviously there are more important things than that, but thank you so much for that. And I hope he gets better soon. Archie Green. I'm just kicking teams out of the lottery if they're clearly tanking. Yeah, but Archie, then it becomes you. What are you judge and jury about that? Right, Adam Silver is going to be the judge and jury about that. You did tank. You did not tank.

That won't that'll create a whole new set of arguments. The system that I like the most, Gill, this is where I think this all gotten too complicated. I don't even think it's worth a lot of this is worth changing at this point. But if I was in charge, it would be blew up the draft completely. It's just here's your salary cap. And this has been thrown out there. I'm not the first person to say this. We know what the salary cap is. You know how much money you have to spend? You guys can bid on whatever players you want. It's an auction. It's an auction. Yeah, kids are coming out of school. If college basketball is turned into this anyways, where these kids can get paid, fine. Get it off from a pro money right away, Mikey P. We do a draft lottery in my 10 team fantasy football league. The top four make the playoffs and the team that finishes fifth gets the most ping pong balls for the number one overall pick in the draft next year. Six plays gets the second most and so on. It seems too simple. But why the why doesn't the NBA? Why can't the NBA adopt that type of model? It incentivizes winning. I don't hate that. Dell mine the gap radio. I don't play the NBA. But if I did, I would listen to Nick Whalen. What a quality 12 minute spot. Mix awesome. Mix awesome. Well, well said by him. I thought down and cuff was just amazing to walk through that college basketball

sequence. Yes, both of them cheap prop bets. Only real well, I only real way I see to fix tanking is to make the odds the same for all teams and maybe just make a rule that the same team can't have a top five pick two years in a row. Anything else just moves the line and teams will still tank. Danny Higgins are buddy Danny who helps this show stay afloat landed in Montana. Have a great show, guys. Danny. Yeah, say what he's supposed he's doing in Montana. Hey, screwing stuff up. Ginger shows ginger, Ginger says I just bet Michigan State because your side kick is on it. See, Ginger's got you. Hey, Ginger, there you go. Rob Graham happy. Did we just have a daddy's sound or was that just the crew in our I think that's a seven. Let's hit that guys. We got to make it louder though. Rob Graham, happy Friday and numbers game. Adam Silver probably got the message from corruption mafia that people are only on to the tank of blusa. I'm sure the limits for those parlay's will be very high. Jess. Let's see. Well, I'm not sure which is responding to this balance to this, right?

Like there's a reason why like he was betting seven legs. He knows what he's doing. The odds makers know what they're doing. Yeah, there's a reason why these are 13 point spreads. It's a money lives correlates exactly right. Buddhist man agreed. But he's talking about something Manasano did. What is Manasano talking about? Manasano said the NBA is a circus playing games in season tournament, tanking load management, lottery issues, best of seven versus round games. And Buddhist man says agreed, but you don't need to watch a minute of NBA regular season play to find viable betting angles. I've exploited both the Gill invetational tank blusa parlay's as well as finding inefficiencies in both the to make the play in playoffs for the same team. Play on play in slash playoffs for the same team. Vegas regular on your NBA parlay's maybe look at some halftime money lines. You can lower your teams from six to seven to lose three or four on occasionally with a much better number. We say first half. Yeah, first half you look at some halftime money lines. He says, how are you going to how are you going to have to think he means first half? You know, roads.

Hey, guys, is the Gadsouk's 300 a bowling event at the Great Lakes possibly a NASCAR event at the Glenn or is it, Gil, you being a tennis connoisseur? Could it be a tennis event in Glendale? Thanks, guys. We like that word play. Gadsouk's tons more tweets. It's got to be racing, right? The Gadsouk's 500 300. Yeah, we got we got we got more of these to get to. Um, but I want it. I want to, we want it. First of all, do you have anybody alive in this golf tournament? The Texas children's Houston open. We didn't update Gary Woodland nine under through nine today. He is your leader. You're usually on Gary Woodland, except not this tournament. I know, man. It's kill me. Actually, he actually rated out pretty well for me too. I passed on Gary and yes, Gil, you've seen me rarely do that. When Woodland's playing well, but you're on Minwoo. I am on Minwoo Lee to back. Yeah, it's too back. Okay. Um, I'm liking how that leader board looks right now. I got Adam Scott, top 20. I've got Thor Bjornson, top 20. So yes, good looking. Uh, I like the leader board right there.

Woodland, Minwoo Lee, Paul Wiring, who was the surprise first round leader yesterday. So shout out if anybody had him. Uh, the, I think the funnier story with Woodland this week, though, is, is Matt Brown, always coming up with great ideas to try to incorporate new audiences to long shots and everything. He decided that he was going to leave one outright play of his up for a vote for on our YouTube page. So he was going to list three options. And whoever got the most votes, he was going to make his last outright play. And if it went, when he's given away some master's gear or something, Woodland was one of the options. He didn't get voted. Wow. Well, at least he had the presence of mine to include him. Yeah, I'm kind of, I'm kind of hoping he secretly made a little bet on him still, but I don't know that it did before if it gets here, talk survivor for two minutes, take out your sheet. All right. The reason I am forced to take Tennessee for me, because there are six seed and I have them available. Yep. Can see the blue. I could take Alabama's a Tennessee, but I'm not doing that.

I'm not doing that because I don't think Alabama's beating Michigan. Do I think Tennessee's beating Iowa state? Maybe. And so I am forced to take that because again, in a pool of 3,000 entries, it's really 1,800 entries with buybacks, but it's 3,000 strong. In other words, but 1,800 different, different entries also. I'm in 180 if there's something like that. It's still not good enough to not take risks. The only way I can get to the promised land or have a shot is if I take longer seeds at this point, because again, the tiebreaker is the sum of your seats. So I got to go Illinois and I'm okay. If they lose, they lose that there's no debate for me. You don't have Illinois. You're a little behind me. So what are you going to do? Are you going to take Alabama or are you just Illinois? That was something there. Sorry. It was updating my sheet. What did I say? To Illinois. I'm a Tennessee. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. I said Illinois, but I'm sorry. I have to I have to take Tennessee. Right. You don't have Tennessee. Yeah. I do not have Tennessee. I've used them already. By the way, Illinois is going to be my play tomorrow if I'm lucky enough to get there. That's right. I didn't know if I missed you saying that I missed them. Yeah, that's a good point. I probably will be looking that way as well tomorrow. But we'll have to see other rest of the shakes out. I don't know, Gil. Well, I'm going to play this. I think that my two big considerations are it's either Iowa state or Michigan state. So we might be heads up. But I can't you're just going to go with the I bet I'm just going to hope everybody else gets knocked out method for this for this round. I don't I don't really have. There's not really an extreme value play on the board for me, right? You're just you're just not willing to take Alabama's basically what this comes down to. That yes, yes, if that that's yeah, yeah, because you're right. That's that would be the one value. Same applies to me, right? I could take them, but I'm not taking it. Then there's also, but also like, okay. So what would be the next the one that would make the next most sense for me to do is take St. John's right. I don't trust I don't trust that one.

Just don't and I did take him small with the points tonight, but yeah, I just don't know if I trust him getting the wind, the mental gymnastics. So this is what makes this so awesome. I come back think it's Michigan State for me, man. This kid doesn't know who he's taking.
