Well, I know they're doing some stuff down there for the age. There's a lot of people are from media, an opening day for the age and, you know, it's still amazing. Some people think that the days are not coming. It's something some people still believe that. Yeah, they're building the stadium. I mean, they're building this. What do they build it for? I mean, but look, let's just look at Cincinnati today. Look at that. Look at Cincinnati today. Look, look, just look at opening day festivities. You know, festivities. Look at, look at how beautiful that is. Yeah. It's just a red just and I've been there. I did a Fox show from there. It's a unbelievable area there where the stadiums are. And it's just so cool. Cincinnati is beautiful because it's right on the river there. Yes. Overlooking Kentucky. Beautiful area there for for the great America small park as we call it.

4:27Yeah, just Americana. What a Cincinnati as it was pointed out by a tweet earlier. Remember, when we were kids, they would always have the opening day. Oh, okay. I don't remember that. So in other words, that was opening day baseball. Cincinnati was always the Cincinnati Reds who had opening day. And then that shifted through the years when TV contracts came on BSBM would start doing opening nights on a night and the world evolved. In my opinion, this is a better Thursday than last Thursday. You have, I just seen golf on out there, but you have baseball. You have sweet 16, you know, when it really counts. I mean, this is a great. This is a great couple days. It's great. I agree with you. It's awesome. I don't know last Thursday still. Yeah, that was pretty pumped up. How about the people that were yelling behind us? At 10 and Kelly also first, first to 10. Yes. First to 15. You know, I looked, I started looking. I did not look before then. I started looking a little bit after that. So the South Point. I went to the South Point for games. And they were screaming and yelling for first 15. Tennessee played. I think Miami and there was Miami, Ohio.

5:29So they were screaming and yelling for the underdog. And it just what was Tennessee actually, one in the last second, like 15 to 13 or so. And the room was silent. I'm talking about thousands of people were upstairs. They had a showroom upstairs where I watched the games, which was excellent. It was like walking into the 80s. I got a dollar for things, two dollars. It was like, it almost ran me to the masters, where you go for food. It's still a dollar for a Pimento sandwich. So, um, but I started looking then. And I did not look before that. I'm saying, wow, one person stood for Tennessee. And the rest of them were all upset. They all had the dogs. So then I run into Vinnie. And Vinnie says, Bill, the great Vinnie. We can't get any money on the favorites. Yeah. Everyone's betting the dog. We have guys coming up and 500 on every single dog. Now, I look into the bright Vinnie. You don't know this till right now. I thank you because I didn't look into that market until Vinnie said it.

6:30So now I look, South Point, they're forced on the favorites to have like minus a dollar 50 when it's minus 210 at the shops that I respect. Wow. One was minus 22 to whoever was 30 point favorite that day was minus six to one there. It was minus 20 to one. Actually, not not 22. 20 to one at bed MGM plus 10 to one plus 10 50. I was just like, you know, I'm not even going to scalp these. This is the wrong price. And just so happens that I actually went seven and oh, thanks to Vinnie. Bet in the favorites. Bet in all the favorites. Now at great price. The next day. Yeah. The next day was a little different. Not so much. The next day I started out four and two. Even though I was four and two, I was down. I better dime on each one. I was down 2000. I was mad. Oh, they were giving a dime on those. Dime at the counter. Nickel on the app. Still right now. Nickel on the app. Dime at the counter. I was down the next day. I got a little taste of it. Duke, I laid 200 on Duke where literally it was minus 300 or 280 and Duke didn't.

7:32And then another one I said, oh, is that what happens? I was I was I was I usually never get mad. But that's I was just mad at all the public screaming and yelling and and I was like, all right. This is my lesson with this. But I wound up breaking even for the day. Yeah, but it didn't I did good the first day. But thanks to Vinnie, I wouldn't even have looked at that market first of 15. But that's that's it's a beautiful thing. But by the way, we always give J. Rude credit for being the first guy to put up those first to 15s used to do it. Really? Yeah. Yeah, you said it was always like 10, 12 years ago. It was always this weird thing or only a few people knew about it. There was this this little murmur that would go up after Vinnie. But I love everything about that story because it's exactly how things should go, right? The public should play a dog up to 10 to 15, right? Because it's a small sample size. You could get the plus money. But then the books adjust accordingly. And so you then find the value. They needed money on the favor. Yeah, but then I thought about it too. I admit it. I thought about something the next day when I got a couple

8:33in the next day and that I didn't get any in the second portion of the day or even the day after the day after that. Sunday, I didn't have a single play. And I said, couldn't it be possible someone at the top point said, what are we doing? Why are we giving cracker murder 7,000? Yeah. What are we doing? Just let us just keep the money on it. I don't know. I might, you know, that's hypothesis, my brain. But it was a good it was good while I lasted. And I wouldn't have known about that. So, but I knew everyone was screaming and yelling for the first of 15, but it all started here. And I talked about your show here with many different, I talked about it on so many different networks about how we were sitting here. And people were screaming for the first 10. That's really made me look at it first. But then when I went over the sound point and I see people, you know, screaming and yelling for, and then when I seen that Tennessee game and only one person standing up and going to cash in, I said, what, wait a minute, that one guy won. Everyone else, the whole room got quiet. I was like, wait, I got to look, I'm going to look at the score. Now all of a sudden, they were speaking your language. I'm telling you which minus 20 to one, I laid six to one.

9:34Yeah. On, you know, that's fantastic. Yeah. The, the, the, and by the way, Vinnie, the great Vinnie Maliulo over there who, the funny, I will say, first of all, I haven't spoken to Vinnie in a long time. I think Vinnie's upset with everything. But he, I love how Chrissy by British book after all these years of knowing Vinnie, he still mispronounces Maliulo because Vinnie Maliulo after all these times. I text Chris yesterday. Yeah. You know, like, I text him on his phone and he must get tired of me texting him. No, but this, this, this text, I'll, I'll, cause I'll text him a nine at night. Yeah. I said, my text yesterday, this is him, see if I can find Chris. I said, hey, Chris, for some reason, okay. I did, I did some interviews yesterday. I said, did you guys go back to Tencent lines? It sure does look like it. I hope I didn't get that wrong. I just gave that to a reporter and he texted me back just the one word answer. I said, yep, I'm Limes in baseball, minus 105 on hoops. I mean, what a great promotion. 105 minus 105 on sweet 16 sides. And five cent baseballs back.

10:35Did you know this? I did not know that five cent baseball back. I was like, wait, I'm looking at some of his lines. And I'm like, minus 150, come back 140. I said, do we, do we go, do we finally get Tencent lines back in town? I'm not, I'm not speaking for anybody. I'm not speaking for my mishpoker, because I haven't spoken to him about this. This is me, me, just my opinion, what I think. I think going away from the dime lines there was dictated from above. Yes. And I think the above, if you will, finally got smart. I think the volume went down big time. I think so. And they finally were like, you know what? Maybe they admitted they were wrong, finally, internally. And they're like, we need to go back to. Today at South Point, giving example, Philly's verse, Texas. Philly's minus $1.55, come back plus $1.45. Yeah. There is not one sports book in town that has that juice. Nope. You know, not one sports book in town. So I'm looking at, I'm looking at a sports book right next to it, minus 155, the same way, come back $1.30.

11:38Come on, come on, come on, come back $1.30. Now I got to tell you, how can you beat that juice? How can you beat that? This is, and you know what? And you know what? Like the prediction markets, like a Novik minus 116 plus 114. Last night on the Giants, he's game. Wow. So I mean, just think about it. Explain to people how that works on that. They pay 1% commission on top of that. Now you're getting me into. Okay, I'm sorry. Because each one of those is a different. Oh, it is. Okay. Because even if it's two cent juice, that's fine. Yeah. He's still there on Saturday and Sunday. Same mater, the steakhouse is so good. You're literally sitting in a pit almost. They're cooking in the bottom. You can watch them cook around the bar. Cook your steak. Flame broth flames up. And the greatest sides. The mushrooms are great. The steak was great. I talk good and bad about places. So I'll tell you right now, the steakhouse is still fantastic. Just speaking of talking good and bad, the Durango. I was over at the Durango with John Orlando. And he was there for the couple of the games. And what a great, great building. These Florida sealo, the ceiling windy windows. There's a restaurant there, overlooking the sports book. The George, maybe it is sports, but it's very cool too. What a great spot to watch games. And there's indoor, outdoor seating.

19:47Just a great spot. I mean, even though I'm not on the bed on the app, it doesn't matter. I give you the good points of it. Perfect example. Arizona, who they play Utah State, I believe. Utah State. There were 11 and a half point favorite at game time, almost everywhere except for stations. There were 12 and a half. What do you think I landed on? I'm against 12, 12. Yeah. So it's good to have them in your repertoire. Right now, if you're betting underdogs, it's always good to have stations in your arsenal. I want to give a shout out to Steve Zabin. Steve Zabin, who if you lived in Washington DC, the DC Maryland Virginia area for as many years as he was on, he's the greatest, greatest sports radio personality in the history of Washington DC, I would say. And then he was in Milwaukee for many years after that. He was beloved there as well. He was also a national radio in between as well. But Zabin does a Zabecast podcast. He was in town. He was kind enough to have me on the podcast with his friend, Armin and Mr. X as well.

20:49But I bring them up not because they're all great guys and they were kind enough to have me on. But because they are also lovers of Las Vegas as people who don't live here, right? And they also lament how corporations have taken over and how this Vegas gone by is this thing we all sort of still chase. And so I just, you know, for those listening to you and they're like, wow, these guys are all talking about it. It's it's people, it's not just people who live here, right? People, people still live for the nostalgia of what it used to be. Sure. And so every little nook and cranny that you can point out that it's still great. I try to do that. Yeah, I try to point those things out. You know, it's funny. The corporations, they want to get away. They don't want no one to know that the mob was involved here. They don't want anyone to know that they used to give away comps out of a handwritten book. They don't want no one to know that kind of stuff. Yeah, they're getting away from that. They want everyone to pay for their meals, pay for their drinks, pay for their show tickets, pay for their rooms. I just think that Casino corporations themselves,

21:49they just don't take care of people like they used to. And it's simple. I know I'm a broken record. I think we all are. It's because of the mentality of people that come in and run the places that don't gamble. They've never gambled before. They come from college with nice fancy degrees on the wall and they just expect people to spend money and pay for things. And also they expect you to be a sucker. They expect you to lose your money and laugh and have fun and leave. It does happen in Las Vegas compared to Atlantic City. Atlantic City is, you know, I'm going to even say Baltimore. It's a different crowd there. They come in their day trippers. They come in there. They expect to win. So it's a tough for crowd. Being a dealer in Atlantic City compared to Las Vegas. It, Las Vegas must be so much easier. It should realize that how much easier it is to be a dealer here. There, sometimes you're getting cursed dead. I mean, they curse you out if you lose because they expect to win. They're going there to win.

22:50They're there for the day. They're not staying. They may not even go for a meal. They're not going to see a show. They're coming in to win. They're going to gamble to try to make money to pay a bill. Imagine that. Imagine what I'm saying. I went to a dentist recently. Yeah. And the hygienist said to me, you know, Bill, I should they know me in there. My sister, whenever the things are tight, she tries to go to the local casino on Boulder Highway and she tries to play video poker or keynote to get the bills paid. No, but I think about that. I'm not making fun of her. No, I know, you know, I think about that and think about how sad that is. How much that goes on closet gambling wise. That goes on all the time. These are all things Casinos don't want me to say, Bill, my God, this cracker burger he's talking about. He's going to hurt her. I'm not going to hurt the ones bottom line. All I'm doing is telling you that with that kind of mentality, you have no chance to make your bills by playing negative EV games.

23:50Only there is a chance you make a score and you can make that kind of a, and you can pay your 15, you mentioned it. She said, yeah, she won 1500 and she was able to pay some of the bills. She was, I don't know at this point in my life. Here in Sipley City, middle of 2026, I don't even tell them anymore. I said, oh, that's a shame. I hope she does well. That's all, there's no one saying, well, she shouldn't do this because of this, because there's no one even saying that. And Bill and even as you and I have talked about Adnazim, and even if we say it a thousand times. It doesn't matter, that's why. It doesn't matter. Yeah, the parlace doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Everyone's going to play parlace. Even though the book, my oldest friend told me, I told you, hey, I went six and one this. What do you mean you went six and one? You never, you never make bets. He goes, oh, I subscribed to the service. Like my oldest friend in the world, right? He's a dentist, right? It's the equivalent of me going to the guy on the street corner from him. And I'm like, hey, can you yank out this tooth for me? It just, it's people are going to bet how they want to bet.

There's not, I'm not going to give nothing out and, and, um, you're betting into a market where, uh, season wins and losses right now, though, uh, I would think it's pretty efficient. And like, I know Fez and a lot of the guys were on the pirates over. Well, it moved six games. The pirates went regular season wins. I, there's only one way to play now, I think. I, you can't bet over, I don't know the number. Let's say it was 80 and a half. And now it's 84. And I don't think it's that high though. You can't tell someone that went over 80 and now it's going over 87.

28:00The only thing you could do is bet the under, in my opinion, yeah, there, there's no value on the over. Fez again, I had this conversation about the pirates, right? The pirates started out at 74 and a half. Oh, I think it was the pirates. Yeah. I don't know what I said. There they go. Seven, eight and a half and I asked Fez again at the time. I'm like, when is the buyback? And he, he literally said is we're within an hour of first bitch with the pirates. He literally said it goes right before the game. The first game starts. Wow. Is the buyback? Yeah. So there's no, because he really believed in that momentum. Yeah. There's, there's really right now this, you know, when it becomes pretty profitable, do you do this at all? I don't know if, I don't think they do this here at Circa. I don't even know if they do it at what, there are sportsbooks. I know MGM does it. 29:04And I definitely, definitely does. Yeah. NFL adjusted season wind total draft Kings and the fans also before like 2020, right. No one did that. Yeah. They put up the season win toes before the season ended. Yes. They were taken off. And once the season started, you never saw that, you know, it was great. I think Caesar's does too. I'm not sure, but I know that they do that, but you're right. They never did that. But my point is, is we become so normalized to these markets that didn't exist a minute ago. Like they, there was 2019. These did not exist, right. And I used to say, people remember who have listened to this show, listen to the podcast for as long as, you know, into the last decade, I used to say, I'm involved in this off the grid stock market like season wind total thing, which are rigid, which originated at Lehman Brothers. Yes. No names. And there was an NFL adjusted season wind market. There was an adjusted college football season market in typical stock market fashion. It was a buy sell market. So they're really sharp market makers doing it. So it was really tough to beat.

30:04It was, but it was phenomenal. And then legalized sportsbooks, really, just within the last six, seven years, did it. All this stuff, right. The season wins in general. You know the story. Sure. 1989, the concept of season winds did not exist. And for those who have heard this story, pardon me for repeating it, but Jimmy Vicaro is at whatever casino, he was out at the time. I remember the cowboys are supposed to suck. And this was the year that they ended up going a one in 15. And before, by the way, they only win was against the skins. Before that season started, some guy came up to Jimmy Vicaro in a in a cowboy hat set, say, how many wins you suppose the cowboys win this year? And Jimmy was like, huh. Let me let me let me think about that kid. And he came back with the first ever season win total. This was 1989. This did not start, you know, and, you know, after Christ, right? This is not exists from the beginning of time. And we take all this stuff for granted. Yeah. Will we live in an era where all this stuff now is like, you know, kind of a place.

31:07Yeah. Yeah. And like I said earlier on the early segment, even I'm learning sometimes the first to 15 market, that's something that's brand new and it could have been exploited there. I don't know. It's in the last 10 years. Yeah. It's in the last 10 years. Yeah. I didn't know Jimmy came up with that. I didn't see the win totals. Yeah. Yeah. That's Jimmy Vicaro all Jimmy. You know, I interviewed a pool player, a billionaire's player who I knew when I was a kid. I knew him. He didn't know me. He was a great one of the greats Rodney Morris. I put him on my podcast and a Hawaiian. He's from he's from Hawaii and he was telling me some of the stories. And I asked him about Vicaro put the odds up on these pool billiards guys here in Vegas. They came here. It was like a, you know, a championship coming to Vegas, the Mirage, giant advertisement. Jimmy said, let me put the odds up on the players and he put like, you know, Johnny Archer, three to one Steve Mizorak, 10 to one, you know, all the different great players, Buddy Hall, 20 to one, these were some of the great players. I used to love Billiards and pull as you could tell.

32:09And every time you bring up Mizorak, I say the same thing. The Miz even if you're just showing off from that Miller like commercial. Like for Miller, you know, and that's, that's the guy I was friends with. I was because my dad knew his dad in Perth Ambo in New Jersey. He was a school teacher at once and I retired to Florida. And I, I loved Steve, but so they put the odds up. I know people don't want me talking to the Oh my God. Don't be talking about this. Rodney and I talked about it. So I want to talk about it now. Jimmy Vicaro decides to put the odds up on the players. And they see that he's puts all the odds up. The worst player there is an older, older man, Spanish Mike Lebron, you know, all sorts of kids in their 20s. And then you have like a couple of other older guys. Miz was 38 and 40 and then you got Spanish, Spanish Mike Lebron, 58 years old, ancient, 50 to one. Well, you can't put up odds like that and expect pool players to play on the level.

33:10Right. The 50 to one quickly went to 30 to one, quickly went to 10 to one. And if you watch anyone can look, you can look us up on YouTube. You can watch the Vegas event, buddy, holes in the finals, desperately trying to lose to Spanish Mike Lebron. He had like a straight nine ball and a bug got in the way and he miscued or something. Yeah. And a Spanish Mike Lebron wins the longest shot in the board. What do you tell you how much money the Mirage lost? The first bet was a thousand to one 50,000. I know that. So, you know, you can't expect billions players to be on the level. They all got together and said, what are we doing? It's a $100,000 prize pool. That's right. There's 20 guys. We each get $5,000. I said, hold the hold to John. So if there's a 25% takeout, you're still going to play goes, yeah, of course. Like, yeah, what does it matter? No, the rake doesn't mean anything. It's unbelievable. How many people don't know the rake or how much, you know, sports betting is four and a

35:19half percent parlay or double digit. They don't know the household just like I didn't when I was a kid. I would say something. I didn't care going to the race track. First off, so the first week of March Madness, I was 16 and six on my releases, which is good. But the reason why I'm saying it is, I use a combination of you. Ask me sometimes about this, like Billy, you don't do your own work anymore. You have other people do it for you and based on that. So I have three sources for college basketball, one of which is Alan Boston. I will take his stuff into consideration. And rarely I will bet against him. But sometimes I do, if my other sources is strong enough to be against him. So Alan and I did two podcasts, which went very well, lots of views. And he was, he was successful. He was nine and five on his first podcast with me. He just did another one with me. Randy did one yesterday with me too on college hockey, which he's very good in college. I'm okay. Randy did one on college hockey games or Thursday and Friday. Stuff.

39:24But I just was thinking about in general, how hard it becomes in later rounds. So like this round, like Alan only had one play. He had 14 last week, going on to the finals, how efficient that market is compared to early in college basketball season, even early in the dance the first couple of weeks. So it gets tougher and tougher. I know people are getting excited for, you know, March madness tonight and we're still a sweet 16 lead eight down to the final four. I'm just letting people know it gets tougher and so we're not going to be on for another week. It gets tougher and tougher here. Do you remember what Alan's play was by the chance? Alan's this week. I don't. Okay. I'm sorry. I don't ask. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know Alan and I think Alan and Randy met. Randy gave out a couple, only a couple plays too. It's only a 12 or two minute podcast with Randy. Well, someone put up a tweet yesterday about Roddy Dangerfield and Shae State. I was there that day when he's throughout the opening ball, but they, he still gets no respect. I wish I got a photo with him, got an autograph, but I had a minute, but now I respect them more. I'm more of a Rodney fan now. I was only 16 at the time. Now I'm, I love Rodney now. Love Rodney on Johnny Carson. That's my pump up videos, you know? But anyway, going back to these casinos here in New York, like I said, six billion, but at what cost to the human race? 42:29You can't usually look at someone and physically tell if they're a degenerate gambler or, you know, unless there are, there is some actions that, you know, you can see nervous energy, smoking, shaking, cursing, going crazy, but if they look only looked at how much, and this goes for people now, everyone, if you only wrote down, I'll keep a little journal of how much money you lose gambling every year, you would be shocked, shocked at how much money. And that's going to, I'm telling you, New York, this, this, like I said earlier, people trying to pay their bills going, they go, going to gamble. They got no chance. Yeah. No chance. We'd about responsible gambling, gaming, asking us to do 15, 15 minutes on, we don't, we just do it in the, in the, you know, the course of our conversation. Sure. And again, the point of what we do, the point of what the network does is to try to, as best we can, right? Give reasoning for why we are having bets and to, to make it as sharp as possible. That's what, so when I try to do on this show, that's what Kelly and I try to do on

43:30the show. Here's why we're betting something here are the reasons why and to the, to the extent that it resonates with people, I think they understand that we are doing it in a sort of cerebral way, you know, with the rare exception of the brain dead partly, because we're doing it. Sure. But yes, what you're saying is absolutely right, both things can be true. That stuff is, you know, some, I've heard financial experts say the biggest scourge on American finances is young males gambling because your money is supposed to compound. And if you keep nipping yourself in the bud every time at, at a young age, you are doing exponential damage to your actual net worth. And so it's a big deal. And there's no question is, and I say, well, maybe I told you I said when Gracie's, when her friends in college, or, you know, friends in high school, you said that I've been college, when they're in the back seat, when I'm driving them around and then they're like, oh, I've got all my plays on prize picks and all that stuff. Yeah, it is concerning. And I will say this. I will raise my hand.

44:30If it was that available to me at that age, I'd be in the same boat. You know, I would be, girl, this. You and I talk from the standpoint of we're not guessing we've both had these things when we were younger. I'm going to say mix. I really don't. I was a losing gambler. Yeah. How many times I took that ride from North Jersey, down to Atlantic City. That's all we had. We had Atlantic City. We had some racetracks all the way down two hours, make a little bit of a score. When a thousand bucks, I'm driving back thinking how I can get off work tomorrow to go back. And just I can't wait because why shouldn't I be? Why shouldn't I want to go back? It's fun. I'm at a work. I'm having fun and I'm making money. You'll actually, your brain and your eyes will play tricks on you thinking you could make money in the casino and I got to get back, I got to get back there. I got to go back. We're, believe it or not, if you looked at a psychologist and talk to us from a psychology level, we're actually happier at that age.

45:33I was actually happier when I went broke. Now I can go back to work. I could sleep eight hours. I can work. I have no money to gamble until next paycheck. I know what it is. This comes from myself doing it, not just hearing from somebody else. I know I'm sure you weren't as much as of a degen as I was when I was a kid. I was around a bunch of degenes. I told you, we said it here, we didn't have money to pay the tolls. We ran a gas on the way home. I want people to know that I talk from experience, not just from hearing stories. I know what it's like. I know what it's like to be in the pits there and drive, and sometimes when you go dead broke and you're driving home, I've had, as it trips back from Atlantic City, I didn't turn the radio on for two hours. I just thought about what just happened, you know, and like for two hours, I was playing Sinatra on the way down, big shot you watch, Charlie, and going, and on the way home, no radio, no nothing. Just saying, Jesus, well, idiot, I am, and I've had those trips.

46:35I mean, have you had any of those things from Atlantic City back to DC? My buddy wand passed out the back seat, only able to say, make it egg and cheese. We were making the one stop, right? The toll we would try that we would fly through the tolls, make the noise, shake the rail stupid like that. Yes. You were three hours probably, right? That's three hours. Three hours. No, I'm just saying. So you speak from a point of of knowledge, we're not just being dad saying things, it's just that both things can be true, right? You can do this responsibly, but there is a side and you talk about what this New York stuff, you do worry about it. My God. He's going to hurt such a thing. This is low or a middle class people trying to, this is really, it's really going to hurt a lot of people and prediction markets, which I support now, you know, look, hey, people love betting on who's going to get married or not married on love is blind. People like betting on politics. People like betting on will there be an eight point or earthquake by the end of the month. I'm just saying people like the war, yeah, this is unbelievable. Yeah. It really is. Very good.
